How is RIse of the Ronin?

Now that we know Dragon's Dogma 2 crashed and burned and that it shall always be remembered as the greatest failure of all history of vidya, how is Rise of the Ronin?

Did it borrow too much from Sekiro?

They are two different schools of thought. They do not even take place in the same historical period.

The grappling hook and that super fast movement of the webm looks super fun.

Stealth itself look super super fun and viable so I can LARP as a shinobi even.

Why does team ninja love sekiro so much?

FROM SOFTWARE and Team Ninja fight among themselves because the boards of directors of Koyu Holdings and The Kadokawa Corporation are composed of descendants of the Koga and Iga clan.

fromsoft copied team ninja so much in the 2000s with ninja blade and tenchu z

Impressive how the most mediocre recent Fromsoftware game wowed Team Ninja so much they switched to making multiple clones of it over and over and abandoned Nioh

Software development is about constant improvement and evolution. They even have a word for it. "Kaizen". The Japanese are on the right track as a whole.

Only the Soulsborne games are improvement/evolutions
Only the Nioh games (Nioh 1/Nioh 2/SoP) are improvement/evolutions
Bopitkiro and Wo Schlong threw that improvement to make bland canned animations reaction gameplay

            >Fromsoftware invented parries

I'm not saying that "it was invented by" but if you track the development history of Sekiro, the combat it is the evolution of the Tenchu (1999) combat system.

Play Tenchu (1999) and then go and play Sekiro. You will see it by yourself.
Pay attention to the last boss too.

I mean, they were literally going to do a Tenchu game iirc, Sekiro is great, tied with BB as best FromSoft game ever made, too bad that, just like BB, it seems they'll never touch the IP again (but at least BB is owned by Sony so theres that excuse)

Sony is responsible for the low impact. There was NO technical reason to make a PS5 exclusive. I want to believe it is a declaration of principles. Under the new japanese administration, Sony will present native patriotic japanese games. Is not about the bleeding edge, it's about the soul.

Cant fight the Seisho Aburi fugitive in Tobe, its marked on my map with a cancelling yellow sign. I've only seen this when you scare a cat, you have to rest so the cat returns, but in this case I've donde everything, from resting to changing the time of the day, and he wont appear
