Good question Mexicanon. I haven’t had a chance to play much video games because my household has the flu. Wife and three kids. It’s taken all my energy to keep us fed, bathed, rested, and the house cleaned.
I got home from work one day and had bought Half Life 2. Played it and, like everyone else, thought it was brilliant. Over the next week I finished the game. That December I gave it to my younger brother, with my computer, for Christmas
Haven't bought a game since. I've played a few and they've been fairly interesting for a little bit but it's coming up for 20 years since I bought a game for myself. Two of my kids like games but not seriously, maybe a few hours a week at most. I was proper into it, built my own PCs and had an N64 and a PS1 and a PS2 and all the good games. Then all of a sudden I stopped
Surely this happened to everyone else in their mid 20s/30 at the latest?
I noticed I don't enjoy games sober which is both good and bad. Bad because I am losing ways to distract myself but good because I need to face my demons not run from them.
Actually 0. Haven't played a game in months, when I do, I am simply bored by them and stop playing. I do that every couple of months to remind myself how fucking gay games are. Inwish I never sold my old Sega genesis or super nintendos. At least those games were fun to play over and over.
But I don't think I would even be interested in that anymore. When I get bored Inusually just do hone chores or yardwork. When that's all done for the week. I go fishing. I try to do that as often as possible as I live by quite a few ponds/lakes and a river.
That's fun stuff. No cellphone. No podcasts. No noise or distractions. Just me, sometimes my wife and kids, out enjoying the peace and quiet. Wading in the river looking for good holes. Or hanging out in the grass by a pond.
That's good stuff right there
I’m a chud. Left America because >spooks
I’m married to a 24 yo Finny.
I work for a remote company and crack six figures. Even with high tax rates here I still bring in over 150k a year. I’m considered ‘rich’ and yet I barely try at my job.
I also play games. Played a lot of SF. Lot of it.
Stop projecting your inability to do jackshit, OP.
I don't play videogames, I dominate them.

I play vidya with my kids, if only because when I was a kid, I always wanted my dad to play games with me, and he never did.

After I became independently wealthy I've had much more time to play video games. Life is good.

Not contributing to a part of the world that wants us all dispossessed, dead and replaced is based and redpilled.
