these shits carrying 20 million people each was the dumbest, most out of proportion shit I ever heard in a vidya
did they fuck the translation somewhere?
20 mille in french is 20 thousand, which fits way better
I think if they were to scale you'd be spending way too long trying to zip across em.
>1 house = 4 people (50m allocated) >1 section = 15,000 houses >1 cave = 4 sections >1 cradle = 34 caves >1 cradle = 8,160,000 people >cradles are 4km long
what the fuck
>invested billions to store millions people >Didn't invest in AA defends or AAC defends >Escorted by a couple of Normals >1 AC coming in and they all doom
WTF
I said "invested billions"
this shit right here worth for probably around 5-6k at most with most of the materials are recycled

>I said "invested billions"
yes and you also said >to store millions people
setting aside the lack of "of", a billion divided by a million is thousand, spending thousands of moneys on a single person to live in a machine where everything must be provided and maintained regularly is peanuts.
you thought that it was a ludicrous amount, but it actually is incredibly cheap, grossly so even.
He felt the lack of action by Orca betrayed the intended goals of the organization and that humanity's choice to just run away from the destruction it had caused the earth was inexcusable.
But siding with Orca will literally bring down the cradles from the sky anyway which the game implies ends up killing a lot of people. Not sure what intentionally attacking them accomplishes other than turning everyone against you
Really I think he just wanted to do something big and impactful and this was the best thing he could think of.
Clean slate for humanity and Earth. No cradles to poison Earth’s atmosphere, no corporations like Omer to fill the power vacuum. It looked like it worked out given that Earth and humanity had recovered by the time of V/VD.
huh? ACs are huge and you can absolutely cram 20 million in those ships if it's just a couple of square meters of living space for each which goes just in line with the game's setting, we already have such flats in asia for example, and some of the Chinese cities have ridiculous population density despite still being fairly spacious outside, with the whole thing not needing highways and being vertical you can easily achieve ridiculously dense living conditions.
I also imagine it's sorta a Matrix situation where people are probably spending most of their time in some sort of digital interface so they can live their life for lack of physical space
I always assumed the people in the cradles were crammed into pods and kept either in cryostasis or VR or something like that. Surely you could fit 20 million in each of them if they were packed shoulder to shoulder with just a bit of metal and glass between each individual.
Funny thing is AC6 repeats this shit. Xylem the abandoned city or when you have to protect the tower? It's to scale, a gigantic city in a dome that seems like it was lived in at one point, and most stuff in this game is properly to scale. Xylem the Colony Ship when it's in the skies or space? You can ride on top of that dome, the city streets are suddenly tiny as fuck, you're crossing whole city blocks in seconds with overboost, and the city is virtually a fraction of its size. The interior beneath the city is fucking bigger than the city in ship mode.
The alt version is great for NG+ because if they give it in NG people will getting filtered harder than the heli because of those fucking wheels as an early mission
He said against corpos. It does seem like a missed opportunity to me. There could be an NG+ base variant of the mission where it is about defending it against a corpo attack, then the NG++ is the actual alternative which spawns the C-weapons instead.
The EN dub is superior to the JP in both acting quality and voices.
My only problem is that every single woman in the game besides Carla and Maeterlinck and including Allmind sounds like a cute girl, and the former still sounds extremely hot and young while Maeterlinck still sounds girly. They don't sound like pilots at all. Ayre especially sounds like an anime girl.
This female cast might be ideal in every other jrpg EN dub but it really breaks my suspension of disbelief when the PCA girl is threatening you with termination and she sounds like an angry tsundere high schooler meant for rape correction. Or bridge explosion correction I guess.
t. has refused to watch dub anime for ten years and watches jdramas without subs so I can recognize poor voice acting
Ziyi is a brainwashed child solider. That’s the point of the character. Father Dolmayan is embarrassed by blind she is to the truth during the helicopter escape mission when she’s spouting off RLF slogans. She’s not an epic 6’3 woman with a butch voice or whatever you expected her to be, she’s a stupid kid.
Ziyi being 14 is important. The player can realize how fucked up it is to have a mkultra teenager on your fighting force spewing slogans they don't understand and killing and dying.
But ayre won't see it as unnatural. She sees it with Raven and will assume that humans throw their children into war naturally and that is part of the human viewpoint of war everywhere.
I prefer the JP because I prefer its Walter and the ALLMIND, but EN is pretty funny for having Walter sound like he's your CIA handler and he's sending you to a Central American democracy.
>Literally couple mission later >Hey Raven, we know you just killed 6 gorillion of our comrades, but can you inspect this factory for us? We'll pay you.
They know you have to pay the bill.
They are cool with it.
They know (You) is a literal braindead retard doing what your tard wrangler told you to do.
It bothers the hell out of me that a random mercenary who is still a literal who in chapter 1 gets hired by opposing factions with no worries of conflicting interests.
Maybe the jobs can be considered low risk of information leakage in universe compared to wasting their own loyal manpower but that headcanon doesnt work when the Liberation leader will hire you to assassinate Vespers at the exact same time Vespers trust you to assassination Michigan.
Michigan probably knows Arquebus is going to send assassins so they probably don't give a shit if you tip Balam off.
Flatwell probably has enough reason to trust you given that you and presumably every other marc practices discretion.
arquebus sends you in against michigan + 50 mts and sends rusty if you don't go
they were trying to kill you, whether you or rusty suceed or not they win
You forget that Walter has enough reputation and influence with the corporations that even a dickeater like Snail will hear him out, and he is outright respected by Michigan.
I really like that Michigan's initial concern with taking on 621 for the first time doesn't have anything to do with suspecting the quality of Walter's hounds, but instead that he might be too harsh on you if he treats you like a regular Redgun.
War is just business to them. The sane contractor working for 2 competing companies at different times is perfectly normal. Sometimes even at the SAME time. War is only real to the people on the ground.
Anon have you never into videogame mercenaries? Unlike real mercenaries or even mercs in written stories that try to be grounded, they always have a slew of contracts to take which are short term, single mission gigs with no strings attached. It would require such a hypothetical game to be specifically built around players mulling over realistic long-term contracts with substantial non-compete period clauses, otherwise it just wouldn't be fun to play.
>"Hey, freelancer. Us real Red Guns are gonna climb the wall" >They fail to climb the wall >Its probably Iguazu's fault for being a sperg who leaks intel over comms to freelancers
Walter was right when he said >something build to fail
at the end, because what were they thinking? They gave the Dosers apparently a ton of money to have them strap like 10 turrets, some missiles and an oversized laser onto that rusty, slow old mining machine and thought it is now a warship. The laser was especially dumb because it was only even slightly threatening at a distance because you were just one guy it could focus target and then it became immediately useless when you got closer. And then if we weren't operating on video game logic it wouldn't even have been able to shoot at you on the strider because it would destroy itself.
You can avoid the laser entirely by immediately assault boosting to the left to get behind it. The ship has a good 30 degree blindspot right behind it. Should've had a hangar of MTs to defend itself at the very least.
For me its the screams that happen the first time you see the PCA ships do a laser rake. That was some good acting wtf.
Swinburne has a pretty great scream if you accept his offer and then kill him in the middle of thanking you.
To be fair the Liberation Front were mainly at war with the SG who didn't have any ACs.
It's only when the corps start fucking with Rubicon that they realize they made a big mistake making huge weapons.
Like almost everything in the game, it'd be good if it weren't for the existence of ACs. The long range super laser and long range missiles I think are enough to justify its existence as a siege engine/long range bombardment platform, but it needs to have heavy escort.
There's probably not a lot it could do against any reasonably skilled AC pilot assuming it doesn't get a lucky hit with its laser or missiles, but that applies equally to every single non-AC piece of military tech in the game. Honestly, the presence of ACs pretty much makes everything that isn't an AC completely irrelevant.
It's more like 15-20 for one playthrough and probably 50ish minimum for full completion. Also, you say that like it not being overbloated is somehow a bad thing.
>6 giraffe legs robot >slow as shit >nothing protect the legs >giant laser that can only shoot front side >corps somehow have trouble dealing with this
People in this universe are mentally retarded
It's a jury-rigged mining robot.
The RLF just grabbed the biggest thing they could find and threw it out there. It's like if Afghanistan rolled into combat in the Bagger 288.
They're stuck in a sunk cost fallacy. They know these mega-machines aren't practical and their mechs are just glorified jets but they're too deep in the hole to admit it now.
It's a mining walker hastily repurposed to serve as a mobile combat unit. Its primary armament is its mining tool that has neither the power nor the coverage to serve as an actual weapon of war. Weaponizing it was an act of desperation. The only retard here is you.
Michigan gets mad at walter but doesn't blame you. It makes iguazu seethe. Make sure to take him out first and Michigan will reprimand him for getting bodied.
>Asking about moral quandaries in a fucking AC game
It's all about getting that COAM dude
Also you should do everything you didn't do the last playthrough to unlock missions in replay
You should if you're on NG+, the other characters treat it as more of a prank than actual turncoating (it's genuinely fucking hilarious if you beat Iguazu first though)
Why do I see fanart of Ayre being black?
Is it just like a small group of strange nigs on twitter or is there something in the game I missed to suggest Coral people are swarthy
Candace in Genshin is probably the most recognizable. Honestly impressed because I didn't recognize her at all, while I've heard Walter, Rusty, King, Wu, Sulla, Michigan, and one of the PCA officers here or there.
Threadly reminder that anyone who disagrees with Walter's philosophy toward the conflict on Rubicon is blinded by prolonged coral exposure and terminal lack of pussy
The plan literally only slows down the progress of coral. It will grow again and will release again. Even ALLMIND acknowledges it when you fail to stop the Xylem which is basically a fires situation and explicitely says that there will be other opportunities for coral release meaning that you just genocided everyone in the system for a temporary resolution and with only your sorry ass to pass the torch and that's if raven actually does.
>Fires >Side with Overseer >it's roygh, but carry your job to the end and still earn respect from your enemies and waifu >Liberator >side with RLF >feels most heroic, get proper goodbyes taking down Overseer despite how rough it could be pulling the trigger >Stargazer >everyone dies in the worst ways possible and hates you >even Chatty hates you >become fused to your AC
Why was this the true ending?
The story is about the coral conflict, and that's the only ending where the coral wins, breaking the cycle. Don't get me started on liberator/stargazer being hinged solely around the displeasure of the totally benevolent energy waifus who are totally interested in whatever the fuck symbiosis is and not just the selfish, mindless advancement of coral technology/life.
Ayre is a coral parasite in Ravens head telling him to merge with coral and help humanity do the same. Coral is evil as fuck no matter how sexy it may sound. it needs to burn. even if theres a chance Ayre nature is good it dont matter. anytime a voice in your head tells you do to something you do the opposite ya fags.
>Schizophrenically paranoid that any sort of "authority" (literal disembodied voice that doesn't do anything but make requests of you until the end) is trying to take advantage of you
UGH, THAT BUZZING IN MY EARS IS BACK! GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!!! ARGHHHHHH- RAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!
Honestly I'd love to have a cute sounding woman to tell me what to do as long as she's nice about it. Armored Core (most of the series) is a godsent for me.
The grey nature of coral and allmind were really fun plot devices, it makes me sad to see it reduced to waifugayry just because they all have cute girl voices. This is the autistic detail I will die on.

We only know two voices, but Ayre says the coral is also her brothers.
Your idea of manipulation is someone asking you to do something and giving you the option to just not do it or do the complete opposite. >Always do the opposite of what a voice in your head says, fags!
You can have your own opinion but it's straight up unrelated to Ayre being a voice in your head. You'd probably be talking about the INTENTIONAL MANIPULATION if Ayre was just a regular bitch who normally asked you to save the coral.
No, I think you're construing a bunch of anons into being me. Ayre is manipulative because she has to be, if she's truly dependent on 621 being the only person she can make contact with. She is more manipulative than even Overseer, as Walter/Carla come clean to you before they want to enact their plans. All the way through to the end, Ayre points you in the direction of information that would cause you to lean toward her position in the coral conflict. She also withholds the fact that she can flat out take over satellite/Ibis-level weaponry so that she has a contingency in case you don't agree with her. I'll give you that she probably has a good reason for doing all this given that its her only chance at getting what she wants, but it is absolutely manipulation, probably because she (like allmind) doesn't see any other way. It's not as black and white as you're trying to make it.

I made that connection and thus intentionally only responded to the first post you made which had nothing to do with what I said in the first place.
It's true that as her only practical tool to influence the real world around her Ayre needs to utilize 621 somehow. You could even say that Ayre planned on causing a coral convergence and following Overseer's plan just happened to be the best way to go about it. But you take it a step further and your schizophrenic paranoia kicks in and you start thinking the whites between the letters spell out something different. You think that there couldn't have possibly been any other way that things could have gone. >Walter and Carla are more transparent with their plans
Exactly when it's pertinent. As in, 1 millisecond before they finally take off the mask and go, "We're going to nuke the entire solar system." Which, by the way, nobody could have foreseen at all. Ayre's huge, villainous reveal at the last minute is: "I hope humans and coral can live together. With you as an example, surely we can..." >Ayre MANIPULATES you towards PROPAGANDA
Only in a truly diseased mind would you have someone give you a pamphlet to read and then come out saying, "SHE'S SPINNING A WEB OF DEEP LIES IN ORDER TO ALTER YOUR PSYCHE." You learn that coral is a highly adaptive and fast growing organism and that other people besides you can hear it. Fuck. The fact that you can honestly quote her saying, "...I hope you think about the nature of coral." and call it an insidious plot instead of transparently asking you to think about it is crazy. >She withholds the fact that she can control C weapons
No she doesn't. All C weapons you encounter up until Ibis are autonomous. Which she then points out, saying, "Holy shit Coral is just piloting this mech." And also, "contingency". Literally 2 retards in the entire universe want to blow up all coral in existence. 2.

You can't tell me that this isn't misconstruing something on your end. I can't even imagine what scenario would lead to Ayre trying to kill you otherwise. The "coral conflict" was all about who owned the coral up until the very last of last minutes when Overseer appeared out of nowhere and nobody could have possibly ever predicted what they did in any way. It's like if you joined a party at someone's house and at the last minute all the guests decided to kill your friend's entire family, and you announced you're taking the killers' side. Then he pulled a gun on you and you killed him saying, "HE WAS ALWAYS PLANNING ON PUTTING ME DOWN LIKE A DOG. HE WAS PLOTTING THIS FROM THE START."
I will say that a lot of it is gray but I'd say it's mostly around the viability of human/coral connection given you have three schizo retards as examples, and the literal safety of having sentient nitroglycerin proliferate through the universe. It's all about what coral will actually DO to humanity, to me. Instead of, "THIS WOMAN IS EVIL."

>You think that there couldn't have possibly been any other way that things could have gone.
No, that absolutist mentality is the exact opposite of what I think, my argument isn't riding on the coral cuck vs institutecel debate, that's just part of the fun of the story. Walter, Allmind, and Ayre are all more certain of coral's potential than I am, I just side with Walter given the information that I know for sure, that being that the corruption and conflict on Rubicon is centralized around coral. The Institute, Walter and Carla's entire history is not a random schizo decision, it's the culmination of decades of experience with coral and the problems surrounding it. An energy being whose only experience up to now was being non-sentient fuel is not going to sway my decision because its principles sound prettier in my ears. Ayre doesn't give a fuck if every planet in the universe is a war-riddled hellhole as long as coral is around to see it. But no, the conflict will definitely just end after a bunch of ACs get possessed by newborn energy lifeforms that used to be used as fuel for war machines because the all powerful idealist in my head is taking the reigns.

A lot of this is just chaff. But at least you turned around to something more reasonable. Yeah, it's not like a recently sentient wave-form who only just became able to speak to a real live human is going to know what the fuck is good for humanity. Or if she even knows what's at the end of an infinite battle with your own "people" for the sake of "evolution". But you can still genuinely say Ayre's naivety reflects what's happening as it happens instead of her being some mega-mind who knows what's going down.
Also side note: Walter and Carla only know that coral will straight up infect the stars if they let it escape. Both of them don't know that it can directly interface with both flesh and electronics OR that it can force evolution extremely quickly. >Is this the true power of Coral? - Walter on Ibis >What the fuck is up with those mealworms? - Walter on the mealworms that explode and shoot lasers >Huh, you finally made a friend - Walter upon realizing that a literal coral being in your brain is talking to you

Fuck you, I just couldn't articulate my actual stance decently enough until it was too late.... >those dialogue lines
those lines about friends and that last Walter line got me thinking as well. That term being used so specifically made me curious about the translation, I wonder if the use was the same across the lines of dialogue in the original script. That would lend itself to Walter's understanding of your "friend" being more like his friends, a purpose/reason to fight, which is a running theme with Rusty too. All this makes me realize I went too fast through the old content in ng+ and need to do an autistic lore run
>If it actually wanted peace it would trust it's apparent husbando and let itself die.
If she did that i would actually hate her and like only the Fires ending because you kill her. The fact that she dies defend herself and her species makes me like her even more and the other 2 endings more than the Fires one.
Any being that not only sacrifices itself but its entire race for the benefit of others not related to them is a genuine cuck who deserves nothing but scorn.
fucking fair, but I fight for humanity so unfortunately she has to die

Yeah I dunno wtf that was about with Walter mentioning "a friend requested this" for half the mission briefings. Also that nonsense story about the two scientists which probably makes more sense in Japanese.
Anonymous
Walter just has a lot of friends. He's the son of an institute scientist, so he had plenty of time to make connections across corporations. Sometimes it seems he's referencing his actual acquaintances, and others (like when he's talking with Carla) he's referencing all the Institute scientists that died and inspired the foundation of Overseer. That scientist story gets fleshed out with some data logs, but I don't remember where or which. One of STV's drawings that shows that Walter is probably the son of the second scientist iirc.

>That term being used so specifically made me curious about the translation
The Japanese term Walter uses is 友人 (yuujin) which is a slightly more significant version of friend. "Close friend" is the closest in terms of meaning but would obviously be a mouthful in the script. He clearly uses it to refer to "the will" of his friend despite all the missions obviously coming from Walter himself. And yes, he uses this word to refer to Ayre in his boss fight too.
Rusty calls you 戦友 (senyuu). The yuu coming being the same character as in yuujin and sen meaning war, so he calls you his war buddy, a comrade-in-arms. Minor stuff that just gets lost because keeping the exact original meaning in tact would make the script sound very unnatural.

None of it is lost. English has all of that by providing context in scene. It's obvious Rusty means war buddy since every scene depicts that.
Anonymous
Sorry, I meant to put a line break before that, it's a general statement, not specific to the Rusty bit.
In Japanese you can tell this "friend" is important to Walter the first time he mentions it, whereas in English you need some more context to understand you're not just doing shit for some random dudes he know.

You can tell in english for all the buddy stuff too because it is all context sensitive. There's a reason english is the lingua franca.

>being more like his friends, a purpose/reason to fight
perhaps
Walter's whole "for a friend" thing is completely made up, in the same way that you'd ask an embarrassing question "for a friend" when in reality it's for yourself. he may be trying to get separation from 621 so he doesn't ask questions.

That is what I took away in english after quashing the notion of his institute friend living in his head forever as a coral boyfriend. In Japanese apparently it’s more explicit.

It's very explicit in english too. Ayre tells you there is no record of a message from a friend. Walter never informs 621 he is part of Overseer, he gets killed or re-educated before that. Carla tells us the background. Walter leaves us not ever realizing we find the truth out.
Straight up just devolving into stupid moron-tier buzzword spouting there, retard.
Is that why you resorted to slurs? You don't have to get angry about a video game.

What is explicit is that the friend means a lot to Walter, not whether the friend is still alive, a literally schizo ghost he talks to or just the legacy someone left behind.

That's definitely part of it, if I remember right he also says he can "see the voices" in that fight so he probably was really seeing Ayre, even if the friend line isn't referencing it.
I'm getting flashbacks to Elden Ring threads where some schizo kept insisting Ranni was pure sociopathic evil, and used you and all her friends to achieve her goals, only to toss them away at her earliest convenience. She was also positioned as someone close to your character. I think someone just has a real problem with trusting female characters.
Ranni's ending is way better than Ayre's, so her manipulation is that much more forgivable.

anon just off the slightest chance that merging with coral might bring about an eternity in a hellish existence. better not do it. there are fates worst than death.
I actually thought about it for a long time and the most logical outcome is that Ayre and Sire (the "mutated coral waves" as AM calls them) are coral colonies that started growing inside a human body and fully sythesized with the nervous system, then detached from the host in the final stadium becoming independent organism.
The symptoms of maturing colony taking over your body are slowly manifesting voices of other muated coral waves inside your head.
Think about it, it makes sense: >Coral collonies can communicate via wavelenghts but only with other Coral colonies
>In order to be able to hear MCW (mutated coral wave) host has to take abnormal amounts of coral dosage supply into his own blood system and willingly synthecize with it or he will lose the contact, like Doleyman and O'Kaffe
>MCWs are not just random coral colonies becuse despite touring trough rubicon inside and out 621 never hears anyone but Ayre (Iguazu can hear her too)
>MCWs do not recognise themeselves as humans despite having purely human thought process and behavioural patterns
>MCWs have physical bodies (made out of Coral) as Ayre mentions she "survived" the fires of Ibis by hiding inside a rift.
>Sire mentions to Doleyman that anyone who can hear MCW can become one by themeselves in exchange for their body/humanity (3rd ending confirms this thesis to be true)
TLDR: There is a growing coral colony inside 621. In 3rd ending Ayre takes role of a queen of blades and forms coral skynet.
How is that a headcaon you moeshitter >Doleyman and O'Keeffe say during their respective boss fights >Seria and Negai mention in message logs >Carla and Walter say it during the final chapter of Fires ending
anyone else thinks rubicon 3 is just Earth but in distant future. I mean its the third planet from the sun Rubicon and there were native Rubiconians who are human.
there were massive structures and cities underground and above. leads to think that the story in the planet has being going for over millennia. dont remember ever the mentioning of those who built the underground city and created the fires of Ibis as originally being settlers.
The absolute peak mission of AC6, it was all downhill from there. Amazing how they showed they still can make good arms forts and then smeared the rest of the game with soulshit bosses.
Strider is boring and arms forts were never good. >wow! dey big!
worst bosses in ACfA, just fly right up to them and hit them with the piledrivers once or twice and they're gone. Motherwill was the only good one and they blew their load with it in the middle of the game. AC vs AC fights are always the peak of the series. That's where I think AC6 dropped the ball, all the ACs felt weak compared to you, I think they should have given them more cheat stats.
>fires of Raven >burn the coral to prevent war >don't take into account there might be harvested coral in megacorps' storage on other planets >they will self-replicate overtime and we will be back to square one >help the megacorps by destroying the supply so they can pump the price to the moon
Congratulations, you just killed your buddy, your girlfriend, and trillions people for nothing.
Iguazu can hear coral voices but only as a buzz of white (well brown) noise. Whenever Ayre speaks to you he can hear it (if he's close by anyway), but once again only as static.
>people running around in a giant ass walking tank heavily armored and armed, among many other weaponry, with a beam cannon the size of a fucking building >innocent people

This guy's such a good mecha villain. Hilariously evil through the entire game and when you finally get him you he does the funniest scream in the game. I'm going to be so bummed if Fromsoft puts Armored Core on the backburner to make more Souls games, I haven't had mecha kino this good in a long time.
No, but that's obviously what she's looking for. A future where humanity and the Coral are more intimately intertwined. The fact that this result is achieved by siding with a very obviously evil AI is part of the point. What Allmind, and by extension Ayre wants is inherently inhumane. She's really not that far off from Allmind. If Ayre had Allmind's capabilities and information on Coral Release she would've done the exact same shit.
she only finds out about/encourages it in the Allmind ending it's fairly safe to say Allmind is the legacy of the Institute, hence their knowledge of everything

does ayre devour your body from the inside and take control over your body?

it already happened when she saved you from being burned by the coral explosion
>Fires ending >you blow up the plant and burn all the coral >Liberator ending >you stop the floating city from crashing into the plant >all the coral just sits there and propagate
Wouldnt the Liberator ending imply that the Coral Release would still happen eventually?
Maybe, but Coral Release requires a "trigger" and that some coral density treshold is surpassed. It seems like in the game arquebus accidentally gathered too much coral in the vascular plant. I don't really see it as inevitable, but there is the undeniable danger.
no, it happened the first time because of researchers fucking around, read the logs, nothing about coral is inherently dangerous, only the way humans use it
>not inherently dangerous
anon if Ayre is either
A) a human consciousness trapped in the organic fuel goo that is coral
B)The coral itself given a name and human like personality.
either one of these is already enough to conclude coral is evil as fuck and extremely dangerous. You gays truly do lack any sense of self preservation. I bet you're double jabbed arent you.
we don't know what coral is, all we know is that it's a life form that found a way to communicate with you, and wants to preserve itself, how is any of this conclusive evidence that it's evil?
The lie of symbiosis being better than any other end to the coral conflict. Coral's continued existence means more fighting over coral. Infusing it into technology and people is only going to exacerbate all of the problems that already exist, but it doesn't matter because the coral itself says it wants peace? If it actually wanted peace it would trust it's apparent husbando and let itself die. The point is that it's no better than Walter or Allmind, selfishly using you for its own ends. At the end of the day, Walter's plan is the only of the three that actually tries to reduce conflict in the longrun, even if it does take a large amount of bloodshed to get there. Where there's coral there's blood, that's the fucking facts.
>If it actually wanted peace it would trust it's apparent husbando and let itself die.
Cringe post like this convinced me that FoRfags are mentally handicapped.

>Father Dolmayan
Just a scared pussy >O'Keefe
"Noooo I value being '''''human'''' more than anything! I don't care if my quality of life is absolutely dogshit as long as I'm ''''human''''!" >Carla and Walter
Again, they're just scared. They don't KNOW what will happen and are simply terrified of the possibility of the Coral replicating.
But anon, the coral release hasnt happened before the 3rd ending. How can we be sure that all those people saying coral release is bad if they havent experienced it yet.
Its like listening to the retards who said earth is flat and anyone who travels beyond will fall off the edge. They only said those because they have no idea of the world at all
The Fires of Ibis were a Coral Release that was contained to Rubicon.
If the coral gets sucked off planet by the vacuum and there's a galaxy sized inferno space would be fucked
When you let the floating city ram into the coral plant, the ending is called Fires of Raven.
I dont think the Fires of Ibis is how a coral release goes. In fact, the Ibis class series was created to PREVENT the coral release.

And with Walter's mech designed to prevent a coral collapse you have a set of mechs to syphon coral and a set to feed it coral (walter's gun force feeds coral into the vascular station).
It is controlling the contractions of the coral release birth.
The institute was being an ALLMIND and trying to dictate the terms of the coral release. It backfired because of sabotage.
iirc the only thing we're ever told about why coral is dangerous is that when there's enough of it together it can just randomly decide to explode like the Fires of Ibis, and that when it does explode the explosion is apocalyptically large.
The propensity for coral to just randomly decide to go nuclear is, again iirc, the extent of the danger of coral, but then later in the game we're told that the Fires of Ibis didn't actually happen randomly and were set off intentionally by one of the Institute's guys, so it severely undercuts the narrative of coral being extremely dangerous.
Nothing about the Coral explosions are random. The Fires of Ibis were caused intentionally by Nagai and the Fires of Raven are caused by ramming a city sized spaceship into a giant fueltank filled with almost all the Coral on the planet.
You learn in game that the coral is abiotic and self replicates as it is burned and naturally pools together. Coral entities don't even care about the general coral because they will always make more.
Coral is a lifeform trying to be birthed into reality and it will not stop because being born into our reality is all it knows how to do. It will will itself into the real unless burned.
So is coral a danger becuse >A) It's sentiant thertfore it's a threat to humanity >B) It has a electrokinesis and can control electonics >C) Can create black holes if unchecked >D) Is a halucinogenic and highly addictive drug >E) Can turn human bodies into coral >F) It has a procreation rate that could spell doom for any ecosystem outside of Rubicon >G) It's mass-exported biofuel that could start cause chain of surge explosions around the galaxy if awakened
I think devs went with too many angles for this one
It's dangerous because it is shown to do anything to enact a coral release and the game shows that a coral release will happen unless you set a guard to burn the stuff periodically.
It is an alien lifeform that has to alter our reality when it is born into it.
It's dangerous because it's impossible to contain, and when it colonizes all space can do unspeakable things to human minds and bodies.
The whole thing with coral is that once the release happens the universe enters a new age and one where humans may not exist anymore. You can end up with basicaly 621 tier symbiosis or complete erasure of humanity by coral. It's impossible to know.
Whe don't even know what actually becomes of humanity after the release. But there probably isn't anything you can truly call human after the die is cast.
Coral is symbolic of infinite potential. And that includes the potential for the end of humanity

>it's impossible to contain >Can survive in space >Has procreation rate so high the colony grew from nothing to potential black hole density within 50 years

Coral was underground before its discovery in likely in small isolated veins. It's basically the RRI that made it dangerous. During callous experimentation it mutated and the head of the RRI understood that it now was much more dangerous and it started to multiply much faster. It's probaly that mutation that gave it the black hole tier levels of self replication. Add to this the fact that it was becoming sentient and it's ability to affect minds and technology and all of a sudden you have a world ending entity about to blow the fuck up. Nagai obviously pulled the plug.

All coral weaponry and augmentations were made before it blew up. Meaning it was already there and all it's properties were already there. The Ibis system was made BEFORE it mutated and aug experimentation was already in full force by the time the mutation happened. Nagai was in full panic once the mutation was found and presumably had only little time to ensure the release would never happen. The only thing that was "born" is the coral mind. Coral itself is 100% native to rubicon.

My understanding, which may or may not be headcanon, was that Coral's intelligence is a sort of manifestation not just of the organism, but of some sort of energy waveform that it propagates. Hence why Iguazu can hear Ayre wirelessly and Ayre can affect computers and shit wirelessly. Coral requires a certain amount of density before these waveforms can either manifest or become intelligent. Ayre was below the Watchpoint in a fairly dense pocket. The Coral at the Convergence was dense enough to control Ibys.
Coral's properties make it very useful for both information and energy transfer, regardless of density. Thats why its used in things like the C-machines and, importantly, human augmentation. 621's augmentation and Ayre get entangled somehow in the explosion, leading to their ability to communicate. Ayre is just a waveform, she exists as a manifestation of Coral, and not necessarily as the organism itself.
At least thats my take.
It was not a hivemind before the mutation you fucking retards. It always had the potential to become one but it was not and probably would never have mutated if Nagai's assitant did not go full autism. It like saying a rogue AI manipulated humans to create computers to be born because computers are useful so of course they would build an AI. You have no evidence to push this narrative. Stop cramming elderitch shit into this story.
Ayre and it's mutated cousins were not a thing before the RRI's meddling. Allmind specifically calls Ayre a wave mutation. That's the only info we have on the possible origins of coral consciousness. Despite the existence of augmented humans it was never observed before the fires (and mutation) despite the existence of augmented humans and all coral present in the story is comprised of surviving mutated coral.

I don't care bro. You have no evidence to claim coral as a species manipulated anyone to cause the release. You just heard a woman and got so assmad you couldn't even understand the themes of the game properly.
ALL the endings end with a future coral release. The story is about how much of a pussy humanity is in letting it happen. Either you slow it down by about 50 years; let it happen in an uncontrolled controlled fashion in th near future or do a controlled release now. If Ayre was not a thing the end result would be the same.

There were no fucking warnings, Walter's father decided that his interpretation is the only valid one. He didn't debate it, he didn't analyze the findings, he just took it upon himself to decide what the right course of action was and executed it and then passed it down to Carla and his son. They didn't debate anyone either on whether what they did was right or not, they brook no questioning and no disagreement from anyone. They made it a black and white issue.

They did and that was called the closure system. didn't work. You need either a coral firestarter aka Ibis (lost tech) or have all the coral in one place (vascular plant which now lost tech) and something with retarded power. The xylem as projectile was probably the most powerful thing they could use and that's gone.
Was the thing in Nagai's diary really the start of a coral release? Did the second professor have a coral tulpa and became the trigger? Was I supposed to understand all this?
We don't really know what exactly the Coral Release needs because the AI lady you blindly do everything for doesn't actually tell you.
Also, the PCA and Arquebus are still just sitting on Rubicon. You just stopped the immediate danger of the Xylem. Liberator is just a really weak ending.

No, she's absolutely right, humanity's evolution is centered around conflict in every way that matters. Ayre's lack of exposure to all the murk and fog which we use to dissociate from the fundamental truth is what allows her to more easily grasp the shape of the beast.

I'd rather have a coral waifu sucking on my cock thank you.
At the end of the credits of the Fires ending, Walter talks to you (don't ask me how), so that means 621 managed to survive the cataclysm somehow (again, don't ask me how).
>greed >thanks Hawkins for dying
Retard. He is devastated and coping with loss, you can literally hear him weep. He is trying to keep up the spirit and continue fighting.
Pater has a split personality, he's simultaneously a bitch who is happy to be climbing the ladder and also entirely devastated by Hawkins and O'Keefe getting murked.
Look at his emblem and description. Pater is not alright.
Nah. Pater is just a young, naive newb who had everything around him collapse and all his friends die. I am not sure what the emblem is supposed to prove, and it seems like his arena description was written by someone else/is from earlier iteration of the character. Doesn't match with the way he actually behaves at all.
Pater has a split personality, he's simultaneously a bitch who is happy to be climbing the ladder and also entirely devastated by Hawkins and O'Keefe getting murked.

None of them are besides Rusty, the emblems are really fucking cool and show off the whole process of augmentation if put them side to side in a sequence.
I'm getting flashbacks to Elden Ring threads where some schizo kept insisting Ranni was pure sociopathic evil, and used you and all her friends to achieve her goals, only to toss them away at her earliest convenience. She was also positioned as someone close to your character. I think someone just has a real problem with trusting female characters.
tranni orchestrated the night of the bbc which killed godwyn and then fucked off into space to leave the lands behind in her ending with all of her followers dead
Yes, Ranni did exactly ONE explicitly evil thing we know of, that being killing Godwyn to gain some measure of freedom from the Fingers and gain control over her fate. What happened to the Lands Between following Godwyn's death is only tangentially related to her and likely entirely orchestrated by Marika.
But some just insist Ranni is literally Satan. She doesn't even approach you with manipulative intent, you basically strong-arm your way into being her supporter twice.
tranni orchestrated the night of the bbc which killed godwyn and then fucked off into space to leave the lands behind in her ending with all of her followers dead
Anon every counter RLF mission is effectively “eliminate squatters”. You blow up their cities, you blow up their fortifications, you blow up their war machines.
As far as armies go the RLF is literally working with repurposed garbage and whatever they can scrape together from the cheapest corpo. Their flagship is a fucking mining vehicle with a big laser staples to the top and some guns.

Their MTs are not any worse than what corps use, everyone on Rubicon runs on that BAWS shit, they pretty much have too. And they have an AC contingent too.

Keep in mind the corps are sending an insignificant force contingent, an elite squad each. The RLF are sending everything they have.

>they have 5 ACs >one is a hunk of junk piloted by a 14 year old girl >one is a hunk of junk piloted by a construction worker >one is a hunk of junk piloted by a schizo old man >one is a wheelchair piloted by an actual gay who's only there so he can suck schizo old man's cock
that leaves one actual competent AC, not much of a resistance
They had about five ac's between the lot of them. Everything else is MT's, their forces were so weak Allmind alone could have killed them all provided you took out the fingers.
>We're the top scientists in this field >There will literally be no other people who know better about coral and what it's capable of than us >Let's unga-bunga a giant space-ship into this giant oil tanker like your dad did, it worked last time right?
>Ayre is LE EVIL
That one retard keeping pushing this headcanon to farm (you) while the game shows she is the opposite of that if not a bit naive and idealistic.
And you fags keep feeding the troll. Leave him alone in his mom's basement.
>Ayre is LE GOOD
That one retard keeping pushing this headcanon to farm (you) while the game shows she is the opposite of that if not a bit shady and altruistic.
And you fags keep feeding the troll. Leave him alone in his mom's basement.
>all these anti-coral trannies posting their headcanon
Cope and seethe, write as many essays to push your schizo theory as you want. It doesn't matter.
Ayre CANONICALLY won.
Coral is inevitable.
YOU LOST.
>uhhhh X is superior to Y because X is more numerous
Pajeet logic. Anyway, Fires of Raven is the "canon" "default" "true" ending because it's what your original mission is and it's also by far the best set up for NG+ (not all Coral is burnt -> it replicates -> another merc starts another fire). It's esentially the equivalent of Linking the Fire in Dark Souls.
They need to use bargaining language since everyone says they did fires or don't care for coral/ayre in general.
They are coping. They tried to shove discord style cheerleading with fanart and roleplay waifu wars and anons rejected it and they are on a scorched earth shitpost spree as a result.
Nevermind those schizos.
Their starve for (you)s has broken their mind. >even contradicting themselves
>autism
The point is they will ruin all threads because we aren't allowing their waifu wars and mental illness about coral.

e621?
>one down, twenty million dead
these shits carrying 20 million people each was the dumbest, most out of proportion shit I ever heard in a vidya
did they fuck the translation somewhere?
20 mille in french is 20 thousand, which fits way better
I think if they were to scale you'd be spending way too long trying to zip across em.
They seem to scale to me. Even a Next takes some time to fly from one end to the other and they sure aren't slow.
then just say they house less people goddamnit
>1 house = 4 people (50m allocated)
>1 section = 15,000 houses
>1 cave = 4 sections
>1 cradle = 34 caves
>1 cradle = 8,160,000 people
>cradles are 4km long
what the fuck
>invested billions to store millions people
>Didn't invest in AA defends or AAC defends
>Escorted by a couple of Normals
>1 AC coming in and they all doom
WTF
You're speaking as if it's a new thing.
I said "invested billions"
this shit right here worth for probably around 5-6k at most with most of the materials are recycled
>I said "invested billions"
yes and you also said
>to store millions people
setting aside the lack of "of", a billion divided by a million is thousand, spending thousands of moneys on a single person to live in a machine where everything must be provided and maintained regularly is peanuts.
you thought that it was a ludicrous amount, but it actually is incredibly cheap, grossly so even.
What the fuck was the Old King's problem anyway
well, he is old
He felt the lack of action by Orca betrayed the intended goals of the organization and that humanity's choice to just run away from the destruction it had caused the earth was inexcusable.
Fuck the corporations
People not on earth being alive.
I unironically believe his ending is the most morally correct
AC are not THAT huge. They're like 10 meters tall and 2 street lanes wide.
They're don't even get mad at you. They know it's just a job.
>take down the quad MT when destroying the transport helicopters
>”..who ARE you?!” *kaboom*
They fear me >:)
It's just a job, 621.
They knew the risk when they chose to rebel against the trillion dollars corporations who know what's good for us.
It’s just a job, 621
The better question is, how much COAM did you just make?
The alt version really suprised me, i thought we're just going to escort it and defend it from some corpos
HOLD THE LINE! WE ARE CORAL WARRIORS! AUUUUGHHHHH!!!
For me its the screams that happen the first time you see the PCA ships do a laser rake. That was some good acting wtf.
Wait I'm on ng+ and I haven't seen the alt version, what are you talking about?
NG++
The bigger they are...
>EN dub
Anon, they call her "Little" Ziyi for a reason.
Ayre is literally an energy wave.
The most anime waifu you can have.
"Little" Ziyi is a kid.
>Amerishart wants girls to sound like butch girlbosses
>Dubs
Nuke the USA already
They should air strike your favela and do the entire human race a favor
>w-who... who ARE you????
I prefer the JP because I prefer its Walter and the ALLMIND, but EN is pretty funny for having Walter sound like he's your CIA handler and he's sending you to a Central American democracy.
>dub
There is no dub you retard.
This. Whenever i hear people anyone playing this game with English VA i immediately turn it off. Fucking retards.
You will never be japanese
You're just doing your job 621.
Heh, define "innocent"
Well, a Ford-class supercarrier has a crew of about 2600, and that is at least 50 times larger by volume.
A lot of that is likely mining processing. Just look at the drills on that thing. It's got to process all that yield somewhere.
Around $ 200,00 or more.
>Literally couple mission later
>Hey Raven, we know you just killed 6 gorillion of our comrades, but can you inspect this factory for us? We'll pay you.
They know you have to pay the bill.
They are cool with it.
They know (You) is a literal braindead retard doing what your tard wrangler told you to do.
I like how most of the characters didn't have much qualm over you killing them. With that line of work, it's just the natural state of it.
In the ac universe this line of work is as common as being a wagie.
They hired mercs to be cannon fodders for Operation Wallclimber anyway so they don't expect loyalty out of them to begin with.
You forget that Walter has enough reputation and influence with the corporations that even a dickeater like Snail will hear him out, and he is outright respected by Michigan.
michigan and walter seem like old friends. walter clearly wasn't happy about michigan going down.
None of us were happy.
Just business, 621.
Michigan, being a gigachad, posted a bounty on himself, to see who dares to face him.
He isn't fucking scared.
You are a gunhand, your intel is minimal. There’s a reason Iguazu gets chewed out for talking real shit.
>"Hey, freelancer. Us real Red Guns are gonna climb the wall"
>They fail to climb the wall
>Its probably Iguazu's fault for being a sperg who leaks intel over comms to freelancers
Walter was right when he said
>something build to fail
at the end, because what were they thinking?
Swinburne has a pretty great scream if you accept his offer and then kill him in the middle of thanking you.
To be fair, that thing is better than 10 warships lmao
Honestly, the presence of ACs pretty much makes everything that isn't an AC completely irrelevant.
i'd say about 7
Fromslop shills are pathetic. Your "game" is 6 hours long.
It's more like 15-20 for one playthrough and probably 50ish minimum for full completion. Also, you say that like it not being overbloated is somehow a bad thing.
Lmao, Starfield has 40 hours of gameplay without repeating the same shit over again. Coping fromdrone.
40 hours of gameplay fit for an actual monkey, you couldn't pay me to play Bethesda trash
Remove 20 hours for loading screens.
>Starfield has 40 hours of gameplay without repeating the same shit over again.
No it fucking doesn't.
> Starfield has 40 hours of gameplay without repeating the same shit over again
imagine thinking this.
Don't give it attention
My bad, anon
>RLF
>innocent
none
>6 giraffe legs robot
>slow as shit
>nothing protect the legs
>giant laser that can only shoot front side
>corps somehow have trouble dealing with this
People in this universe are mentally retarded
>People in this universe are mentally retarded
Whoa just like real life
It's a jury-rigged mining robot.
The RLF just grabbed the biggest thing they could find and threw it out there. It's like if Afghanistan rolled into combat in the Bagger 288.
it was operating just fine until 621 showed up, lib front MT's guarded the floor
>IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZ- ACK
Capital ships should always have a whole fleet to escort them, just like carriers IRL. The RLF was basically asking for it.
man imagine a hard mode of that mission where the strider is escorted by a squad of juggs
How many breads have you eaten in your life?
None.
It's just another job.
WE ARE COR WAAAAAAAAAAARRIORS
Is it wrong to betray the redguns mid mission? I mean I'm planning to take them down eventually but I have a contract.
Yes it's wrong because you have to fight one hard AC and iguana instead of Index for basically the same pay after Michigan taxes you.
it's never immoral to kick that Izuagu's ass
You're a mercenary. There is no right or wrong, only whoever is willing to pay you more.
You should if you're on NG+, the other characters treat it as more of a prank than actual turncoating (it's genuinely fucking hilarious if you beat Iguazu first though)
I wonder if the Eye on the Strider was salvaged from this PCA laser? Or did they just repurpose a mining laser?
Does the trailer even take place on Rubicon?
Why do I see fanart of Ayre being black?
Is it just like a small group of strange nigs on twitter or is there something in the game I missed to suggest Coral people are swarthy
schizo leftoids i assume
all the art i've seen is her being white and nothing in the game implies that morons exist in that universe
One of the few times its not an issue because Ayre has no physical form, so it's just however artists want her to be.
Fair fair.
she literally does not have a body and is not human, anon
She has a body
It can turn into a bird
we had a cool ass fight in lower orbit
It's just leftoids' headcanon.
Ayre is an anime main love interest, therefore she can't be black.
>Nooooo, not the tan
>AAAAAACK
Why do I see fan"art" of Ayre being h*man.
I swear modern weeb "culture" is most noramlfag shi ever.
Twitter artists making "representation" or whatever.
She doesn't sound black at all. Nigs have an accent, even North American ones.
Rubiconians aren't people and I will continue to kill them because coral is the new high fructose cornsyrup.
>coral is like what radium was like for a while and people were just using it in all kinds of questionable household shit for consumers
How come we never get the parts for Ayre's or Allminds ACs?
DLC trust the plan
You should already have them by then?
They use unique heads and bodies, anon. They aren’t in the game as unlocks.
Allmind's actual ac is just the mind beta head and mind alpha core, though.
The final boss versions are AC's genius
*aren't ACs
fuck, I played myself
Anon, dont be like G5
>wake up
>I'm still not Anthony Burch
>instead I am G5 Iguazu
Why Allmind voice in JP sound way cuter than Ayre JP voice?
Should I simp?
CARLA IS BLACK???
I guess she's "Cinder" Carla for a reason
I didn't need to know this information, gay
she's got the videogame hair
She isn't
Don't worry, regardless of VA choice she's not black regardless. Just like Kratos is still greek
>Fat black woman
>Does a good job
FromSoft magic I guess.
Is she in any other well known games?
Candace in Genshin is probably the most recognizable. Honestly impressed because I didn't recognize her at all, while I've heard Walter, Rusty, King, Wu, Sulla, Michigan, and one of the PCA officers here or there.
Not in the one image we have of her in-game.
In 2 images actually
this is Ayre btw
No, this is Ayre
WAOW MAMA
Ever since I started working out I've started to find girls with chubby cheeks and manjaws more attractive.
Unironically my type

There's no way the voice in my head can be black.
You're waifu is a CIGGER
Not enough
It's just a job, e6.
>Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven Raven
I'm not gonna lie, the final ending felt the most grim. Where was Rusty at the end?
Dies offscreen
Only in Liberators ending. He's safe and relaxing at 621's room for NG++
Is there anything that hints to it besides the Vesper clone line?
>"From one hound to another, see you in doggy heaven Raven. Awoooo"
>:( he doesn't say that
doggy
Nobody on board is an innocent. They knew what they were signing up for.
None, only Rubiconians were on board.
Threadly reminder that anyone who disagrees with Walter's philosophy toward the conflict on Rubicon is blinded by prolonged coral exposure and terminal lack of pussy
The plan literally only slows down the progress of coral. It will grow again and will release again. Even ALLMIND acknowledges it when you fail to stop the Xylem which is basically a fires situation and explicitely says that there will be other opportunities for coral release meaning that you just genocided everyone in the system for a temporary resolution and with only your sorry ass to pass the torch and that's if raven actually does.
bingo
It's the best option when the other two are allowing it to happen because it's apparently inevitable. See
>Fires
>Side with Overseer
>it's roygh, but carry your job to the end and still earn respect from your enemies and waifu
>Liberator
>side with RLF
>feels most heroic, get proper goodbyes taking down Overseer despite how rough it could be pulling the trigger
>Stargazer
>everyone dies in the worst ways possible and hates you
>even Chatty hates you
>become fused to your AC
Why was this the true ending?
Writers didn't care becuse they knew audience will not either, stigma of modern age.
>It's like I'm carrying the weight of the world
SKIBIDIB
Liberation, obviously. It's the only ending where you get your humanity back, which was the reason you came to Rubicon in the first place.
You're free in the Fires ending as well.
It's the only one with a definitive answer to the coral question.
FUCK IT WE BALL
FUCK IT WE BALL
FUCK IT WE BALL
I embrace unlimited potential at the cost of everything and anything else
Not my problem
KEK
Its fucking awesome seeing that huge furnace with huge warning label signs, basically the biggest target for cult suicide bombers.
They re just coral anyone living at rubicon highest kill xount was for answer chaos ending
You could've killed even more with DAFENG! Buy today!
Reminder that Father Dolmayan's coral waifu happily tells him to keep snorting coral dust in order to hear her. Coral morality is extremely relative.
If you don't think Ayre is intentionally manipulative of 621 then I hope you're just pretending to be retarded
This is the autistic detail I will die on.
that's why you have to pick the only good ending and destroy the source of the sickness
We only know two voices, but Ayre says the coral is also her brothers.
>IT WASNT ME YOUR HONOR, IT WAS THE VOICE IN MY HEAD MANIPULATING ME
meds
Your idea of manipulation is someone asking you to do something and giving you the option to just not do it or do the complete opposite.
>Always do the opposite of what a voice in your head says, fags!
You can have your own opinion but it's straight up unrelated to Ayre being a voice in your head. You'd probably be talking about the INTENTIONAL MANIPULATION if Ayre was just a regular bitch who normally asked you to save the coral.
No no anon, you don't understand. Ayre not wanting her people genocided and her planet destroyed makes her a crazy bitch!
With you as an example, surely we can..."
>Ayre MANIPULATES you towards PROPAGANDA
- Walter on Ibis
>What the fuck is up with those mealworms? - Walter on the mealworms that explode and shoot lasers
>Huh, you finally made a friend - Walter upon realizing that a literal coral being in your brain is talking to you
Fuck you, I just couldn't articulate my actual stance decently enough until it was too late....
>those dialogue lines
those lines about friends and that last Walter line got me thinking as well. That term being used so specifically made me curious about the translation, I wonder if the use was the same across the lines of dialogue in the original script. That would lend itself to Walter's understanding of your "friend" being more like his friends, a purpose/reason to fight, which is a running theme with Rusty too. All this makes me realize I went too fast through the old content in ng+ and need to do an autistic lore run
fucking fair, but I fight for humanity so unfortunately she has to die
Yeah I dunno wtf that was about with Walter mentioning "a friend requested this" for half the mission briefings. Also that nonsense story about the two scientists which probably makes more sense in Japanese.
Is that why you resorted to slurs? You don't have to get angry about a video game.
Are you going to shame me for calling you a moron? Where the hell am I? Dumbass.
No I'm just saying you aren't level headed enough to have a talk about a video game with. It isn't my problem lad.
Are you even that guy? You're a literal retard if you can butt yourself into a thread of replies that begins with elementary school namecalling and single out the side that responds to it. You insincere moron.
My immediate reaction to “no message records” was “he has a brain boyfriend like me” which I then stamped down once he kept being flabbergasted about my red cataract.
You are wrong. It means he was making it up. He doesn't know we have a dishonest alien in our head that hacked his comms without anyone's consent so he isn't aware he got snitched on.
Even without that it is obvious. He even later says "no, this one comes from me" as a form of admitting to his prior lies.
People saying you need the JP version of the game are being sophists and fart sniffers.
I WAS wrong, it became pretty clear he was talking about dead people afterwards.
>In Japanese apparently it’s more explicit.
Ranni's ending is way better than Ayre's, so her manipulation is that much more forgivable.
>so her manipulation is that much more forgivable
You triple retard with no media literacty.
Ranni doesn't betray you nor anyone else in Elden Rang
>Women are LE EVIL
Spoken like a true Gankerirgin.
Show me an evidence of Ayre manipulating you.
Real evidence not your headcanon.
there is an entire mission where she has you grab a bunch of text logs for no money so you can "think about the nature of coral." You think she did that shit for freedom of information you disingenuous cuck?
You literally get paid for every log you pick up. A lot, too.
What do you find objectionable about understanding what coral is more deeply? Would you rather not have the knowledge?
ignorance is bliss
Aren't those the ones where they tell you how Coral drove assistant 1 mad and some Dolmayan sperging? What was Ayre's endgame here?
are LE EVIL
unironically true
All human interaction is manipulation
So long as you're doing what you do with informed understanding, it doesn't really matter
anon just off the slightest chance that merging with coral might bring about an eternity in a hellish existence. better not do it. there are fates worst than death.
Think about it, it makes sense:
>Coral collonies can communicate via wavelenghts but only with other Coral colonies
Isn't that the plot of Eureka Seven?
I never watched E7, too much nogs and slags for personal taste
YOU DONT UNDERSTAND, HE'S GALAXY BRAINED!!!
>Doleyman
Am I missing some meme here?
No I am utterly autistic and call dolmayan: Doleymann in head because he is a total garden gnome
anyone else thinks rubicon 3 is just Earth but in distant future. I mean its the third planet from the sun Rubicon and there were native Rubiconians who are human.
No
Nah
Is it stated that "native" rubiconians aren't just settlers? Unless you're talking about Coralfolk which are not not even a carbon based lifeform.
there were massive structures and cities underground and above. leads to think that the story in the planet has being going for over millennia. dont remember ever the mentioning of those who built the underground city and created the fires of Ibis as originally being settlers.
The city FELL to where it is now. It wasnt built underground.
The absolute peak mission of AC6, it was all downhill from there. Amazing how they showed they still can make good arms forts and then smeared the rest of the game with soulshit bosses.
I was dissapointing worm wasnt like an arm frount instead of halo 2 final boss as a giant worm
ABIDE WITH RUBI-ACK
>fires of Raven
>burn the coral to prevent war
>don't take into account there might be harvested coral in megacorps' storage on other planets
>they will self-replicate overtime and we will be back to square one
>help the megacorps by destroying the supply so they can pump the price to the moon
Congratulations, you just killed your buddy, your girlfriend, and trillions people for nothing.
Coral separated from the main flock doesn't replicate, retard. Try actually finishing the game before talking smack
Hold the line. We are Coral Warrio-ACK!
Not enough
>prequel of you playing OG Raven
based based based
It's just a job 621.
did iguazu have his own coral waifu or was ayre fucking with two men simultaneously? why did he say that ayre was the voice in his head?
He was probably hearing her (or the coral itself) but couldn't make any sense of it, for him it was all buzzing.
Iguazu can hear coral voices but only as a buzz of white (well brown) noise. Whenever Ayre speaks to you he can hear it (if he's close by anyway), but once again only as static.
No wonder he chimps out in ng++ ending
>people running around in a giant ass walking tank heavily armored and armed, among many other weaponry, with a beam cannon the size of a fucking building
>innocent people
You're one of those special kind of retards, aren't you?
all you really need to do is to have strategic pauses in your speech patterns like you’re hesitant to say something, intermittedly sigh and say ‘let’s go home’, and finally say you enjoy doing missions with him to make a white man fall for your schemes
>Anon, the way you devoured those 50 nuggets...did your mother teach you that?
>this makes the average twittoid tourist weeb piss and shit himself over the lack of anime tits
kek what insecure trannies
it isn't obvious that ayre is trustworthy or that coral is a good thing
it also isn't obvious that just exactly one of those two claims could be false
This guy's such a good mecha villain. Hilariously evil through the entire game and when you finally get him you he does the funniest scream in the game. I'm going to be so bummed if Fromsoft puts Armored Core on the backburner to make more Souls games, I haven't had mecha kino this good in a long time.
>EEAAARGH!
>Japanese AC name: Open Face
>Translated AC name: Open Faith
Bravo frognation.
I was always confused by his AC's name but it being a translation error explains it
Swinburne got a pretty good scream too
Guess what will happen
His delivery of the line at the start of the battle always gets me
>You're below that
>You are VERMIN!
snail gets some of the best lines
>VERMIN
>rubiconian apes out of my way
>all the shit talk during the worm mission
>one.... last.... plan....
>Know your place, you meager dog sitter. The answer is no.
do you trust elon musk about putting a chip in your brain?
then why do you trust a disembodied voice asking you to undergo symbiosis?
she sounds cute
Do I go through with symbiosis in the Ayre ending? Isn't all that just Allmind's thing.
If Ayre had Allmind's capabilities and information on Coral Release she would've done the exact same shit.
she only finds out about/encourages it in the Allmind ending
it's fairly safe to say Allmind is the legacy of the Institute, hence their knowledge of everything
>one is a living organism
and that's meant to make it better? you're describing a literal parasite
>she saved you
LMAO
nothing about ayre makes her a parasite, you don't know what that word means
yes, she saves you
>she save-
dont care. it must burn.
It's a literal brain fungus directly affecting your decisions and thoughts, the coral pump is even like a spore pod that grows upwards and then bursts spreading spores into new hosts
oh so now it's a fungus rather than a parasite? make up your mind schizo
I wasn't that anon you were replying to, but infact another entity entirely, and was just comparing the imagery and symbolism of coral to that of the brain zombie ant fungus. Ganker may be a coral hivemind but there are some of us who still fight for the freedom of the human race.
This is V.II Pater, signing off
does ayre devour your body from the inside and take control over your body?
one is a chip, one is a living organism
>asking you to undergo symbiosis
it already happened when she saved you from being burned by the coral explosion
>Fires ending
>you blow up the plant and burn all the coral
>Liberator ending
>you stop the floating city from crashing into the plant
>all the coral just sits there and propagate
Wouldnt the Liberator ending imply that the Coral Release would still happen eventually?
Maybe, but Coral Release requires a "trigger" and that some coral density treshold is surpassed. It seems like in the game arquebus accidentally gathered too much coral in the vascular plant. I don't really see it as inevitable, but there is the undeniable danger.
no, it happened the first time because of researchers fucking around, read the logs, nothing about coral is inherently dangerous, only the way humans use it
Sorry, but what in the game implies that pre-institute coral was entirely harmless?
>not inherently dangerous
anon if Ayre is either
You are braindead.
Drooling
>If it actually wanted peace it would trust it's apparent husbando and let itself die.
Cringe post like this convinced me that FoRfags are mentally handicapped.
>If it actually wanted peace it would trust it's apparent husbando and let itself die.
If she did that i would actually hate her and like only the Fires ending because you kill her. The fact that she dies defend herself and her species makes me like her even more and the other 2 endings more than the Fires one.
Any being that not only sacrifices itself but its entire race for the benefit of others not related to them is a genuine cuck who deserves nothing but scorn.
>nothing about coral is inherently dangerous
>Dolmayan says coral release is going to be a disaster for the mankind
>Seria says it's coral release is going to be a disaster for the mankind
>O'Keeffe says coral release is going to be a disaster for the mankind
>Negai coral release is going to be a disaster for the mankind
>Wallter coral release is going to be a disaster for the mankind
>Carla coral release is going to be a disaster for the mankind
>Ayre says she "doesn't know" what is going to happen
>Allmind says it's going to be allright...
>...sike get tricked idiot
maybe you should read the logs and find out what the coral release is and what caused it...
How is that a headcaon you moeshitter
>Doleyman and O'Keeffe say during their respective boss fights
>Seria and Negai mention in message logs
>Carla and Walter say it during the final chapter of Fires ending
ment for
>Father Dolmayan
Just a scared pussy
>O'Keefe
"Noooo I value being '''''human'''' more than anything! I don't care if my quality of life is absolutely dogshit as long as I'm ''''human''''!"
>Carla and Walter
Again, they're just scared. They don't KNOW what will happen and are simply terrified of the possibility of the Coral replicating.
>all of this is my schizo headcanon btw
Ayre won
You lost
That's all that matters
Quit wasting your time here and go suck on a frankencock, Noid
Yes, I literally said that, thank you.
Uranium doesn't just randomly explode either but its probably not good to have it everywhere
If it weren't for the fact that uranium is radioactive, why not?
So is coral a danger becuse
>A) It's sentiant thertfore it's a threat to humanity
>B) It has a electrokinesis and can control electonics
>C) Can create black holes if unchecked
>D) Is a halucinogenic and highly addictive drug
>E) Can turn human bodies into coral
>F) It has a procreation rate that could spell doom for any ecosystem outside of Rubicon
>G) It's mass-exported biofuel that could start cause chain of surge explosions around the galaxy if awakened
And that includes the potential for the end of humanity
>it's impossible to contain
>Can survive in space
>Has procreation rate so high the colony grew from nothing to potential black hole density within 50 years
So how is coral endemic to rubicon again?
How did never managed leave the rubicon airspace on it's own?
It just is. Rubicon is where Coral was found. It is a Hispanice melange reference. Hispanice ends up starting a literal space Jihad.
Hint hint.
Presumably the coral didn’t have the ability to breach its own atmosphere before. Then we started dragging gigantic chunks of it into space.
Headcanon.
All coral in game is found underground. Nagai was perfectly okay with coral use before it mutated. Then he blew all that shit up. Historic data mission. Read the logs.
It didn't mutate. It is being born. The institute were the wetnurses.
it's bloodborne but with no lovecraft and instead mecha. Same concept in execution though - outer being being born into reality affects it.
>It didn't mutate
Allmind literally calls Ayre "mutated coral wave"
She also called Iguazu an anomaly and 621 an irregularity.
Just words for things an AI can't understand with it's own set of protocols.
How can you use coral before it is born. If my post is headcanon then your is straight up crackpipe ramblings
You burn it as a fuel.
Yeah I know. They use coral as a fuel source anon. That is how C-weapons work and that is how coral can inhabit it.
It isn't an accident. Coral wills it that way.
Coral is just a fuel source that happens to be an extradimensional hivemind consciousness that wishes to be born into the physical world as well.
But it is just a fuel source for machines. If your gasoline starts talking to you you ignore it and keep filling up the tank.
It's plausible, considering the close ties to the plot of Eurka 7
There's aliens on Rubicon that eat coral as seen in the mission where you fight Rusty. It likely was kept in check by them but once humanity moved they probably just blasted the big scary worms eating our precious coral and then it went out of control.
Coral is such a dumb name, already was when I first heard it and still is now
It is supposed to be framed as terrible in as many ways as possible but it can talk to you with uguu kawaii voice so it dupes incels.
It is a dramatic comedy.
Its also apparently able to fucking mind upload humanity en masse and instantly communicate across vast stretches of space.
Its basically Alpha Centauri Transcendence ending but with less spiritual mumbo jumbo to pretty it up.
Instead of spirituality with merit they leaned into the metareferences the series is known for.
The problem is living as raven is just being the joker irl and isn't fit for all of reality.
Do not coral post at me freak.
Headcanon autism
Just don't coral post at people without consent.
Just accept being wrong friend this is an anonymous forum
>just give up
peak coral posting. This is why you aren't liked.
The game is called fires of rubicon. "The die is cast" point of no return is used everywhere in the game. Use your braincells.
It's terrible in many ways but also really fucking useful in many other ways. It's a literal miracle substance with properties that could revolutionize basically every field of technology, but the potential for misuse is massive for that very same reason. Seeing it as a black-and-white 'Coral is... Le Bad!' story just marks you as a midwit who is unable to see the intentionally murky and grey ethics involved.
It is a black and white issue though. Burn it so it won't be an issue the problems it presents aren't worth it.
You people are just very very dumb and limited in your understanding of sci-fi settings and themes.
Disregarding the warnings because Ayre can talk like a girl is a cosmic horror you losers don't understand.
Burning it doesn't guarantee it won't ever become an issue due to potential for resurgence as had already been established prior.
>you people are just very dumb
Well lookie here, we got as a phd.
>disregarding the warnings
There were no fucking warnings, Walter's father decided that his interpretation is the only valid one. He didn't debate it, he didn't analyze the findings, he just took it upon himself to decide what the right course of action was and executed it and then passed it down to Carla and his son. They didn't debate anyone either on whether what they did was right or not, they brook no questioning and no disagreement from anyone. They made it a black and white issue.
>Burn the printing press because the problems it presents aren't worth it
>Y-you're just a simp who hasn't ACTUALLY considered the outcome
As expected
Retards who are terrified of progress identified
So what if it causes problems? The potential benefits are so ridiculously immense that it is worth whatever horrible shit it might cause. It's fine to disagree because everybody has a different level of risk tolerance, but saying that anybody who thinks the risks are worth taking is brainwashed is the most retarded close-mind thinking ever.
It isn't intentionally murky and grey. You are supposed to reject it wholesale but you fell for it because of uwu voice.
It is only grey to those that would doom everyone to being coral serfs. To the people that see the clear message of the game it isn't grey. You do not help the coral.
There is no rejection possible. That ship sailed 50 years ago when the RRI fucked up. Coral release happens no matter the ending. see
No you can keep burning it every time it gathers up which you should do anyway.
>deny humanity a miraculous source of power because...because you should ok?
Same kind of retardation as opposition to nuclear energy.
I'm not opposed to nuclear energy. we could be using nukes to kill coral every 50 years that would probably be the most effective solution.
No, other power sources aren't sentient and trying to use subterfuge to manifest in the material world. It's different for coral.
Coral never used subterfuge of any kind, what sort of fucking drugs are you consuming?
See, when Ayre is nice to you, it's subterfuge and manipulation, but when Walter is nice to you, it's completely legit and you should follow his guilt-ridden death-wish to the very end.
What the fuck are you talking about you lunatic? Coral showed predictable and easily observable behaviors when tracked in its flocking movements and patterns.
It's almost like the entity that talked to Dolmayan wasn't Ayre. It's almost like individuals within the Coral-mind could also be privy to different sorts of information.
I was being sarcastic, moron.
I don't know anymore seeing what kind of absolute idiocy I consistently encounter within these threads.
If coral didn't know what coral release entailed the RLF wouldn't have the eclipse on some of their emblems.
Ayre said she didn't know what release was or would entail, but the RLF knows and the RLF has known contact with a coral mind.
Sorry you didn't pay attention as much as me.
That's a ridiculous fucking leap. Dolmayan is the only one who knows about coral release, the rest of the RLF are ignorant because he intentionally kept them in the dark.
>Coral never used subterfuge of any kind
>the choice is yours raven
>you've made your decision then...
What about that was subterfuge? Do you even know the meaning of that word?
After ending 1 Rubicon is completely abandoned and the last potential overseer member is raven who no longer has any Ibis or vascular plant or xylem to burn the coral. The fires of raven leave little chances for humanity to burn the coral again.
Almost. A bunch of coral cultists tried to doom humanity 50 years ago but you can just blow rubicon up every 50 years to solve the issue.
It does speak to how listening to coral even once will doom everyone though, so there is that.
Also there was no coral mind before the mutation. Drop your headcanon.
>Build a fuckhuge oribtal cannon
>blast Rubicon with it every few years
>???
>Profit
They did and that was called the closure system. didn't work. You need either a coral firestarter aka Ibis (lost tech) or have all the coral in one place (vascular plant which now lost tech) and something with retarded power. The xylem as projectile was probably the most powerful thing they could use and that's gone.
>it happened the first time because of researchers fucking around
one of the researchers made contact
Was the thing in Nagai's diary really the start of a coral release? Did the second professor have a coral tulpa and became the trigger? Was I supposed to understand all this?
We don't really know what exactly the Coral Release needs because the AI lady you blindly do everything for doesn't actually tell you.
Also, the PCA and Arquebus are still just sitting on Rubicon. You just stopped the immediate danger of the Xylem. Liberator is just a really weak ending.
>wins in 2/3 endings
>even in fires ending it's still comfirmed that 621 loves her.
Cope and seethe firefags.
Ayre won.
You lost.
none, it'ss a video game
/V/, YOUR ABILITY TO THROW YOUR HEADCANONS AS COUNTER-POINTS ARE REALLY UNCANNY
almost as if the story of this from software game is left ambiguous to incite discussion...... hmmm.....
>to incite shitflinging
ftfy
It's desperate and I just woke up again so get ready for yet another full blown diaper
>The coral can do anything I say it will
>Deal with it goyjin
There is not much to talk about when the main factor behind events of the plot is unapologetic deus ex machina
>"We are the C-c-coral.. WARRIORS"
>AUUUGGHH
The saving grace of that mission was getting to hear that line every time.
haha have a nice day lebbitor
>Mad because you didn't think of it
Cry about it, humorless bore
Iguazu is so cool, i wish i was more like him.
Would Ayre be angry if 621 saw another girl?
>this is who you trust to make decisions
I mean, she is literally, factually correct about the state of humanity. All the more reason to ascend to higher state of existence.
>higher
higher what? you dont know shit about shit what would happen. die as a human or take your chances in an eternal hell. I'll go with the former.
>access to infinite energy, ability to expand your mind on a quantum brainwave level Gundam 00 style, potentially eternal life since you're not confined to human body anymore, an entire race of sentient waifus/husbandos that are there for you
>not higher state of existence
her entire experience of humanity is sitting in a loner mercenary's head as he goes around killing everything. it's completely one-dimensional.
if she'd made contact with a road surfacer instead, she'd think all humanity is about is laying down tarmac and taking three hour lunch breaks.
>she's right
she's right about one single aspect in a very limited reference. humanity has a lot more to it than that and you'd have to be a belligerent edgelord nihilist to disagree.
>no I want to work for the scheming merchants who learned nothing and failed at their job
>yes coral definitely won't come back again after I'm long dead
>why should I clean my room if it's just gonna get dirty again
Do what you can, G13.
No, she's absolutely right, humanity's evolution is centered around conflict in every way that matters. The only reason anybody ever does anything is an attempt to cut the universe into a more pleasing configuration. Ayre's lack of exposure to all the murk and fog which we use to dissociate from the fundamental truth is what allows her to more easily grasp the shape of the beast.
It's not nihilism unless you go out of your way to ignore all the positive consequences of violence for the sake of reveling in the negatives. Violence is just the process of exerting your will in order to bring about a change. That change isn't necessarily bad, and it doesn't need to be a zero sum game.
She isn't right solely because her veiwpoint isn't complete and is autistic in design.
Kill all the coral. It has to be done.
Wait, so true ending really is endless brawl in AC Valhalla to speedrun evolution?
how did anyone think this was just a meme to begin with? I thought it was obvious this was the implication.
I've been saying this for weeks
true ending is just warfare for the sake of warfare, under guise of "progress"
Phew I'm glad I turned this inhabited mining planet into smoldering ashes and kept aliens from destroying humanity.
>Ships off to wipe out entire colonies for corporations
wow the japanese sure are stupid
She's right though
Is there an actual bot posting in these threads?
It wouldn't surprise me if half the posts on Ganker were made by bots.
its literally bots defending Ayre because the AI algorithm is literally unironically basically Allmind already.
You're a mercenary, collateral damage is part of the job.
Where my Chatty bros at? By far the most underrated character in the game.
I heard his English VA for the first time and it's crazy that he just sounds like a dude while Japanese Chatty sounds clearly robotic. It emphasizes his more human moments way better.
>Japanese Chatty sounds clearly robotic.
That's interesting, you would never be able to tell that Chatty is in fact an AI created by Carla with the english VA, I only know because she tells you after one of the last missions.
it says it in his arena description
>kept aliens from destroying humanity
FoR ending wipes out a few planets from a system
Stargazer spreads coral across the galaxy
it's basically the trolley problem, do you sacrifice a few thousand on an already warring plannet (PCA vs RLF), or do you spread the disease to potentially billions of people?
>Ships off to wipe out entire colonies for corporations
headcanon
I didn't read like half of those.
>Headcanon
With what the corps did to the RLF for something that ostensibly didn't actually exist any more is what they'll do to any colony's standing army for something of value.
the corps, sure. why would 621 do that? the man he owes a debt to is either dead or catatonic, and he probably has enough money to reverse the surgery at this point.
most overacted line in the entire game and I love it
You got me there. But it was more about how corpos turned the galaxy into a PVP enabled zone and that's fine, but when Ayre starts her own LAN server it's suddenly evil.
>that's fine
it isn't
>it's suddenly evil
the galaxy may be fucked up already, but throwing more violence into the mix will just make things even worse
>I want to work for the scheming merchants
[citation needed]
>coral definitely won't come back again
and?
how stunningly enlightened of you
*tips fedora*
I accept your concession
>"you'd have to be a belligerent edgelord nihilist to disagree"
>disagrees in the most belligerent edgelord nihilist redditor way feasible
you are, quite literally, not worth my time
Then why respond?
This guy's really actually unironically got the whole squad laughing at him this shit is free entertainment anymore
DANCE! I SAID DANCE!
How's the PVP? can I have fun with the weapons I know and like or is there a handful of "best" loadouts that counter each other turning it into glorified rock paper scissors?
there are meta pvp build but you can play with your favorite weapons
From what I've seen team rooms are fairly diverse in loadouts but every other match you'll meet a Double zimmer/gatling
>new Pokémon design drops
I got a job for you, e621...
Someone make this joke on twitter or reddit and you guys rushed here to make the same joke?
Yes this retard is actually that stupid, stop asking questions
Non because I did the defend mission on NG+ and a bunch of wheels and quadrupeds destroyed the thing before I even had the chance to get close.
>621
All it's missing is the "e"
Wow aint you clever!
shoot me up with coral and fire me at tel aviv
0. There are no innocent people in a war.
Walter
>gave you the opportunity to play the game
>has an understandable motivation
>holds you in high regard for your skill
>lets you rest in between missions
>wants to undo your augmentation after it's all over
>kino boss fight where he sympathizes with your actions despite being a corp zombie
>leitmotif is in the main theme
Ayre
>only hangs out with you because you made Contact
>literal baby levels of mental capacity and personality
>forces you to do more missions like some ADHD zoomer
>blindly follows a clearly evil AI because she heard the word symbiosis
>turns humanity into schizokind
>edgelord Souls boss fight where she teleports behind you repeatedly
>people attribute her theme to Balteus because some robot is more memorable than her
I think it's pretty clear who's better
Walter by a country mile. Ayre was just manipulating 621 to bring about a coral release.
try being less obvious next time
Okay
No that was Ayre. Walter wanted to stop the coral which is the right thing to do.
Anon, what was Walter's plan to stop the Coral?
Are you retarded? Walter was manipulating 621 into a suicide mission that would genocide both Coral and native Rubiconians under the premise of buying his freedom back.
FIGHT BACK, RAVEN!
Don't think about it.
621 are you still feeling guilt?
Once you get back I'll make some adjustments.
None. Just Rubiconions.
Bros, is the Chang Chen any good for NG++?
I just wanna pair a fast weapon with 2 plasma cannons.
It is just good in general. Very solid all around gun. Get decent recoil and fire it in bursts.
it's just as good in NG++ as it is in NG and NG+ since difficulties don't change
that being said, yes
>Fire ending
>Ayre and rusty are dead by your hands
>Carla is dead
>Walter, who is in the vicinity, dead
>(you), who is at ground zero, deader than dead.
I'd rather have a coral waifu sucking on my cock thank you.
Trying too hard.
You might have survived, you can probably ride the coral energy for infinite boost.
At the end of the credits of the Fires ending, Walter talks to you (don't ask me how), so that means 621 managed to survive the cataclysm somehow (again, don't ask me how).
Once something's alive, it doesn't die easily.
It's a recorded message, doesn't mean 621 or Walter is still alive at that point.
That would make sense, but then when did Walter send it ?
He had a little wireless email sensor tied to fire if the temperatures ever reached eleventy-fuckbillion and confirmed a coral explosion.
What a fucking mastermind. Too bad that he didn't see it coming when he got captured and brainwashed/killed by Arquebus.
>do the mission to kill pater and hawkins
>pater still has dialogue in later missions
but why
>Look I can see their parachutes
>Their okay
I guess he ejected.
greed, he had the eject lever primed. V.V going down means he can ascend the ladder. He even thanks Hawkins for dying making him V.V Pater
>greed
>thanks Hawkins for dying
Retard. He is devastated and coping with loss, you can literally hear him weep. He is trying to keep up the spirit and continue fighting.
How's that promotion, V. V Pater?
Literal autism. If you can't even read the emotion in someone OVER ACTING to sell the point then there's just no getting through to you.
incorrect
correct
Look at his emblem and description. Pater is not alright.
None of them are besides Rusty, the emblems are really fucking cool and show off the whole process of augmentation if put them side to side in a sequence.
Hawkins seemed pretty on-the-level, and O'Keefe seemed a bit depressed but not to an unhealthy degree.
Pater is Patches, it makes sense.
>innocent
these threads used to be good before the waifutrannies
>used to be good before the waifutrannies
Waifufags and anti-waifufags were here from day one. But much less headcanon schizos tho.
Yeah. once people understood the story the waifutards had to go to insane copes with headcanon theories to try and justify their waifutard decisions.
Straight up just devolving into stupid moron-tier buzzword spouting there, retard.
All the endings sucked. Game was great though
Eldan Ring had lore?
Ranni did commit evil deed by killing Godwyn.
Ayre on the other hand did nothing wrong. She just wants to live and be with 621 forever.
Now that the dust has settled, how would you rank them? Me:
Bloodborne > AC6 > Elden Ring > Dark Souls > Sekiro > DS3 > DS2 > DeS remake > DeS
billions must abide
>innocent people
It's called enemy combatants, anon
Also it's lame we didn't get a single, proper "eliminate squatters"-tier mission.
Anon every counter RLF mission is effectively “eliminate squatters”. You blow up their cities, you blow up their fortifications, you blow up their war machines.
>fortifications
>war machines
RLF feels like a proper fighting force, it's not the same as slaughtering workers on a strike.
Anon workers on a strike get guns and strap them to their trucks if things get bad.
Factory workers in AC can be feisty ones, but it's still not the same as fighting an actual army like RLF.
A longstanding shitpoor revolution, worker or otherwise, is going to have some goodies.
Keep in mind the corps are sending an insignificant force contingent, an elite squad each. The RLF are sending everything they have.
>they have 5 ACs
>one is a hunk of junk piloted by a 14 year old girl
>one is a hunk of junk piloted by a construction worker
>one is a hunk of junk piloted by a schizo old man
>one is a wheelchair piloted by an actual gay who's only there so he can suck schizo old man's cock
that leaves one actual competent AC, not much of a resistance
Freddy is cool
They had about five ac's between the lot of them. Everything else is MT's, their forces were so weak Allmind alone could have killed them all provided you took out the fingers.
Question: How did the giant tube survive the fires of Ibis?
>We're the top scientists in this field
>There will literally be no other people who know better about coral and what it's capable of than us
>Let's unga-bunga a giant space-ship into this giant oil tanker like your dad did, it worked last time right?
Overseer really were a team of all time.
>Ayre is LE EVIL
That one retard keeping pushing this headcanon to farm (you) while the game shows she is the opposite of that if not a bit naive and idealistic.
And you fags keep feeding the troll. Leave him alone in his mom's basement.
It isn't 1 anon most people don't like Coral. Get over yourself simp.
If you think Ayre is evil you are either mentally challenged or didn't play the game and just shitposting.
No (you) for u
get lynched, waifuchud, this is a thread about videogames, not your lonely chud delusions
Reminder that coral goes extinct because Ayre was the liason between the 2.
>Ayre is LE GOOD
That one retard keeping pushing this headcanon to farm (you) while the game shows she is the opposite of that if not a bit shady and altruistic.
And you fags keep feeding the troll. Leave him alone in his mom's basement.
Well here we are.../v/uddy. I was right all along, you're just another threat to Ayrefags.
They've always been after waifu threads... shitposting for (you)s
Someone has to put an end to this injustice!
>it's that janitor, but that's no IRC IP...don't look at me, board tourist, just make sure you win this argument
>dont use coral cause bad things could happen
like with any other power source?
>How many innocent people did I just kill?
THIS
MACHINE
KILLS
FASCISTS
>all these anti-coral trannies posting their headcanon
Cope and seethe, write as many essays to push your schizo theory as you want. It doesn't matter.
Ayre CANONICALLY won.
Coral is inevitable.
YOU LOST.
What's up with her ear?
>Ayre canonically won even Tho I killed her and then burnt down all of her "brothers" and "sisters"
2 endings > 1 ending
You lost
>uhhhh X is superior to Y because X is more numerous
Pajeet logic. Anyway, Fires of Raven is the "canon" "default" "true" ending because it's what your original mission is and it's also by far the best set up for NG+ (not all Coral is burnt -> it replicates -> another merc starts another fire). It's esentially the equivalent of Linking the Fire in Dark Souls.
Can you get a trip so I can start filtering your posts?
They need to use bargaining language since everyone says they did fires or don't care for coral/ayre in general.
They are coping. They tried to shove discord style cheerleading with fanart and roleplay waifu wars and anons rejected it and they are on a scorched earth shitpost spree as a result.
Fires and Liberator have pretty much the same completion rate
>autism
The point is they will ruin all threads because we aren't allowing their waifu wars and mental illness about coral.
You're both ruining the threads equally
I want to talk about cool robots going fast
Nevermind those schizos.
Their starve for (you)s has broken their mind.
>even contradicting themselves
See?
They are talking about (you).
so why does walter try to stop you anyways, is he secretly banging carla
Coral simps really are incels.
Yep, i'm thinking Kate Markson just can't stop winning.
>621, go genocide all these different factions
>621, I can't let you do this (Ayre/good end)
since when does Walter give a shit about you doing stuff
