Yeah, it's definitely not something we can grow up with.
he should have noodle limbs and backpack.
His stance should be more cautious, like unsure of lies ahead.
He should be vulnerable, which should be shown by tiny expressionless bug eyes and definitely no mouth.
Why does every current attempt at "classic" Sonic (including by SEGA themselves) always get the colours wrong? The reference is literally right there in the image and they still frick it up. Someone do an edit to make it actually match the sprite, I'm certain it would look a million times better.
Thank you. See how much better that looks? Why couldn't Mania or Generations have that instead of the baby blue Sonic that was literally never a thing?
>Why does every current attempt at "classic" Sonic (including by SEGA themselves) always get the colours wrong?
It's original colors. dark blue Sonic was a limitation but people prefer it now.

That's literally not true considering they made sonic darker as early as 2.

My theory is the light blue reads like a faded color. Faded = old = classic

They base their design in official artwork. Color palette for the genesis was still limited.
>socks still wrong
>thumb still wrong
>face still fricked up compared to the sprite
I appreciate the colour correction though

Bro, fricking read the thread.
Limited hardware existed before you were born, understand that.

We already had like 3 of these for classic Sonic
it doesn't matter how it's done, as long as it plays like S3K it's already perfect.
