Personagays don't care since they don't know any other JRPGs exist, it's literally just the same schizo blundergay/eric, his posts are extremely obvious and he samegays constantly.
Feels like I have been playing the first game for 16 years now. Shit is long…
Also one particular fight triggered the fricking shit out of me, 4 lizards or sth fricking shit wienersuckers were OP af
If you mean the optional lizard boss in his throne room in Satorl Marsh, yeah, he's a pretty big skill check. Either lure his guards away and fight him alone once you've dispatched them, be very good at the game and take them all at once or be a coward and come back once you overlevel him. Or if you just want to do the Nopon rescue quest, you can find the back door key and sneak in that way to bypass him entirely.
Nah that was okish. No I mean four random dudes in that area where small islands are interconnected by teleports. I can’t remember the names of the locations
Oh yeah to activate the Prison Island teleporter in Eryth Sea. I did so many sidequests by that point nothing caused me a challenge for that entire zone but being on level I guess it can be difficult. For group fights I recommend running Dunban with Soaring Tempest for easy Blossom Dance spam. Also worth noting that killing an enemy when in Chain Attack gives you one party gauge bar, so leaving 3 or so enemies on low health then using AoE attacks in a Chain Attack can guarantee you another Chain as soon as yours ends.
>Anyone who says 3 is the worst is brain damaged.
So, people who want a plot that actually matters, interesting characters, functioning gameplay, and a decent to good soundtrack have brain damage?
X and 2 don’t force the music to reset upon every skip travel. You’re also able to hear the night themes in those games. >just set it to night
I shouldn’t have to do this to hear the night themes. I also shouldn’t be barred from using skip travel because the music will reset. The game also shouldn’t have a menu theme.
2 > 1 = X > 3
I'll truly reserve my final judgement over 3 once the DLC is out, but really, I shouldn't have in the first place. All games are worth playan though
2 is the most impressive
1 is good all around
3 starts off promising, then falls flat, then picks back up midway, and then shits itself for the final act
Didn't manage to finish a single one
1) made it to floating islands
2) made it to some merc village
3) made it to the manlet moebius boss fight
those games are some of the worst RPG i've ever played in my life. I've given them a fair shot all, and they disappointed on every level.
2 > 1 > 3
I had fun with 3 up until the prison where I started losing interest.
Everything about that entire plot was so stupid >Go save Ghondor >Also she's Vhandom's grandaughter >And a complete b***h >spend 3 in game days just waiting for the prison break >You get betrayed >The villains capture you instead of just killing you then and there >Cutscene of the MC's in prison for a literally month >Last minute save
It was all clearly just to get rid of Mio's expiration date even though they probably could have just ignored that until the last battle or just had M quite literally join you instead.
Like, I was 100% ready for Mio to just die and get replaced and it felt like they were trying to give all the characters closure about that too, then just back tracked.
You can't kill Mio because of how the game quests and dialogues are designed. Each of the 6 main characters are participating in lots of them. This is what absolutely destroys this "drama"
If this wouldn't be the case i think the best option would be to kill Mio and after that the M herself just would've joined the main party.
I mean they could probably kill Mio, but you get her back almost immediately.
Show Players her icon or what no greyed out like Ethel, Make players thing, "Oh she's actually gone", in one of those scene where you can't do much besides save and look at the menu.
Then when you're forced to go on with the story events led to M joining you.
everyone is entitled to their opinion, but putting 3 combat over anything else, with that garbage switch system between characters that is and absolute complete garbage, makes me think you are not being honest
>Story
2 > 3 > 1 > X
1’s isn’t bad by any means but I think it’s aged the worst of the main 3. It’s definitely the simplest imo which is fine but repeat playthroughs aren’t as interesting. I haven’t played 3 again so maybe I’ll swamp them but idk right now I like 3 more >Battle System
X > 3 > 1 > 2
2’s is actually really good I just hated fricking getting affinity to max. That and how it’s introduced to the player weakens it a lot. At least the e-manual in X was actually really good and explained the more complicated mechanics like overdrive. >World/Exploration
X > 1 > 3 > 2
Exploring 3’s was more fun than 1 since it’s big but 1 has more unique locations and the setting. 2’s setting is great but exploration was really weak imo. >Music
X > 2 > 1 > 3
All are great, 3 has amazing battle themes but they get overshadowed by the chain attack theme so hard. A Step Away is great but drifting soul is better (though I like how It’s only played once), some field themes are great and some might as well not exist, and the menu music got annoying after a while. Doesn’t use Weight of Life past mid chapter 4 which is just a wasted opportunity. >Overall
X > 2 > 3 > 1
3 and 2 might be swapped one day. 3 has a ton of quality of life stuff and overall improvements to a bunch of issues in 2 that weighed it down.
>2’s setting is great but exploration was really weak imo.
2's setting is fine until you leave Leftherian Archipelago. From that point onwards it's just gray fields and corridors, a really small postapoc city and a boring high tech final dungeon.
Yeah, and the map is already filled out so you know what the layout is gonna be. Even though tantal was nice, especially when it went underwater an got those squids, the lower level is just a big snowy field with a couple distractions.
I like 2 and 3, but I hate what they did to the series.
Both 1 and X were technical feats considering the hardware they released on, and clearly tried to push JRPGs forward with an emphasis on exploration and player-liberty (compared to other console JRPGs of the generation).
Then 2 back-pedaled on so much of the progress X made (in terms of both game design and technical improvements). 3 brought back large environments, but they still paled in comparison to X and the movement still felt watered down.
Credit given where credit is due though: 2 has a kino endgame, 3 has my favorite overall combat mechanics in the series, and both have amazing soundtracks. 3 had a really strong start but the ending being such a fricking nothingburger combined with the complete disregard of the conduit shenanigans from 2 (ie the shit that longtime Xeno fans really loved about that game's story) was the biggest blue balls a game has given me in years.
My only problem with 2 is the harem shit, that's it. I genuinely feel like Pyra is more of a sister to Rex while Mythra is the one that truly loves him.
2 > 3 > 1
3's ending is horribly disappointing but I still think I overall prefer it to 1, especially due to the great side content.
2 doesn't have as good side content as 3 but handily beats it out everywhere else. It's a contender for my favorite ending in a videogame.
my poop >> 1=2=3
I still haven't figured out where exactly I'd put 3 in comparison to 1, so for now I'll go 1 = 3 > X > 2
1 = 2 > X > dogshit > 3
2 > X = 3 > 1
2>1=3, I don't know were to put x, also what going on with all xenoblade hate threads?.
Insecure personagays, unironically

Yeah I was their level and did this
Pulling one by one wasn’t easy either though. Anyway, still have to finish it and play 2 and 3
Just kill one at a time, run back through the teleport to heal and cheese the fight. Anyways Gears > XCX > XS3 > XC3 = XC1 > XC2 > XS2 > XS1
Dude on the right gotta be the most swagless design ever
3 > X > 2 >= 1
All of them are great. The worst Xenoblade is still a 9/10 in my book.
That said, X > 2 > 1 > 3.
1>X=3>2
2 has it's good points and arguably the best OST but the others were better overall
In terms of story
1>=2>3
In terms of being an actual video game
3>1>=2
Overall
2>3>X>1
Each game does certain things better than the others
2>1>>X>>3. Holy shit was 3 a let down in pretty much every way.

I swear there are areas where I only heard the night theme once or twice. And yeah, menu music should just frick off, it's terrible.

you can’t be serious
3>X>2>1
But they're all great
2 > 1 > X > 3
2 is the best easily
3 have higher ups than 1 but also lower lows, but I choose 1 over 3 because the end didn-t leave a bad taste in my mouth
>2 is the best easily
This. 2 is easily the best. 3 felt like all the talent left.
I still think XC3 is worth playing just for chapter 5
My opiniont of 3 may change depending of how the DLC is though
Gears > Saga >>>> 1 >>> X >>>> 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>> 3

sounds like you're the one who hasn't played them.
You can speed run them in like 6. Chapter 3~ or so only an hour in if you skip cutscenes.
>play a game he doesn't like repeateadly
wew
>you can't criticize a game you haven't played!
>haha you played the game to criticize
can't win with dickriders
see you in XC4 threads then
What's a good RPG to you?
Persona 5
1 = 2 = 3
All equally enjoyable. Been a long time since I played X so I'm not going to rate it
1 = 2 = 3 = X
If 2 wouldn't be so rushed and badly made in a few places, it clearly would've been the best

Not him but You can't even switch characters in the other games. Combat is much slicker in xc3
what? yes you can
Well shit. I played xc1 Wii and xc2 and never found out how to switch in battle.
You cannot switch characters in battle in either 1 or 2.
t. never learned to actively swap between characters and manually manage ouroboros depending on situation
