They're just as fun as they've ever been (and in some ways more so). The issues with CoD have not gone away, but it's far more mechanically deep than it's ever been, and there is a fuckload of content to do compared to older entries.
The issue stems from BattlePass nature, always online shit, and art direction that is quite literally Fortnite instead of sticking to the Micheal Bay blockbuster military shtick it's always been known for.
