I built my gaming PC in February 2021 because I was bored during lockdown. I managed to get an RTX 3070 for £650, at the time it was a good deal 'cause everywhere else it was going for £1,000 then. I wanted 3080 but that was like £1,200, frick that. Now nvidia have shown their new cards and my 3070 is already an obsolete pile of shit. Feels bad man.
>obsolete
It will still play every game for years to come you stupid frog posting piece of shit
2 years tops.
>2 years tops.
Yeah because so many games will come out these next 2 years, like..... uhh....
im still sticking with my 970, please and thank you.
implying u have a choice poorcuck
get chinese bios hack for your card
I'm on a 750ti and I'm playing spiderman at 720p low 30fps I don't know your pain anon
All I care about is being able to run games at 1080p60. As long as I have that I'm happy.
I feel sorry for people obsessed with staying as up to date on technology as possible, I have a hunk of junk I built in 2016 with cheap parts still running every game I play at decent settings. Not like new games are worth a damn anyway.
No one gives a frick
Haven't found a game I'm interested in playing that my 1660 Ti can't handle at high-ultra 1080p and I'm a lot more interested in AAA titles than most people here. This isn't 2004, graphics aren't getting better every year and the scope of games isn't increasing much either.
Bet it gets sub 60 1080p Elden Ring lol
This argument of "hurrrr it plays what I want durrr" doesn't hold. Just cuz you like dos games doesn't mean your card doesn't suck tbh.
tried it with 970 @ 1440p. i think it was like 40 fps. . 1660ti should play it much better. especially in 1080p
lol yeah sure
It's fricked bro 🙁
?t=13
My 1660 Ti is one of the overclocked versions. It'll squeeze out a few extra frames on top and honestly it's fine with me, I'll just drop one or two of the settings and play with a solid 50-60 FPS experience. Good enough for me to be honest.
I haven't played Elden Ring yet, but I'll see whenever I decide to (probably more than a year from now I guess). It played RDR2 really well which is the best looking game, and probably the most expansive, I've played and can even find on the market so far and I've got so much older stuff to play still that I can't justify an upgrade yet. In the future if prices drop to a justifiable amount and the 1660 Ti I've got stops doing the job for 1080p I'll get another card though.
Is this how you cope with being a smoothbrain? Really pathetic.
I can play elden ring at 60fps, 1080 with a gtx 970. Now you have to give me a reason to actually play that game.
>Buy 1080ti on release
>still no reason to upgrade
i'll stick to my 3060, thank you very much.
