Then go play NES instead
ok i will
good, have fun.
MEGAFIRE is a very good term for turbo on this thing.
too bad the controller is Mega DIRE lol
nice
I guess I like the stick, but growing up Nintendo the genesis always takes some adjustment to play.
throw this garbage in the trash and buy a real arcade stick
okay i'll find the USB port on my sega genesis
>not ripping the guts out of this thing and wiring it up to a real arcade stick with a proper microswitch lever and seimitsu buttons
the japan one already has microswitches
the nes advantage is terrible
i have one, but its purely for nostalgia
how is it terrible?
membrane stick
buttons stick if hit an angle
in the modern era of gamerfinger and custom controllers with arcade components
it seems silly to pay top dollar for anything else
I use this with a wireless modded Fukkokuban Virtua Stick CS2-0007 (photo is pre-mod) but it also works great with the Astro City stick Sega put out a few years ago
I don't mind it being up top away from the main buttons, reduces the chance of accidentally pausing the game. I don't recall too many Genesis games utilizing the start button for its main non-menu functions, while I mainly only recall the start button was used in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out for the power attack.
ok
put your trip back on
I would love to take another trip back to Japan, but the flights alone are a couple thousand USD, not counting hotels/meals/other expenses. It has been a long time since the last time, but rent has gone up, food has spiked, petrol is expensive, and wages just haven't been keeping up.
No, it's for real though. Just look, the start button is on the top edge of the controller.
The stick is clicky, but the Sega Arcade Power Stick 6B also has that too. It is the NES Advantage which is not clicky for its cardinal directions, but rather a soft rubbery feel to the motion. The Genesis version of the Capcom Power Stick Fighter feels better to me with much softer buttons that has a more concave shape over the SFC/FC version, but it is only for one console opposed to two.
There are better, since I was more used to American styled bat-top joysticks of the arcade at the time so I was a bit disappointed since it seemed inauthentic in those days. For the lower price than ones with authentic parts, it is good for those on a budget.
Shut the fuck up you gay
Capcom Power Stick Fighter uses real arcade parts.
good for the time, and now collectability
i still have a hard time recommending them though
I really like the look of the Super Advantage, and yeah, it's based on the US SNES design.
Looks like it would suck for street fighter
