2) turn off your XMP profile and run your ram at the base speed
3) frame limit the game in the GPU suite (adrenalin/geforce experience)

Nope, I don't. The only modern displays I own are 16:9. It gets past the logos and copyright info just fine but crashes in seconds once the main menu actually loads. Before I deleted the pipeline file in %localappdata% it would crash while it was compiling shaders.
Fuck knows then, it's been fine for me but I've heard crashes due to ultrawide, some Ryzen cpu shit and some people have an issue with Windows Defender fucking with it, could check the event logs for that to see if it blocked any Starfield folder access. Seems the game either works pretty much flawlessly for some or has error after error for others, over the most trivial shit. I legit haven't had a single crash or game breaking bug in 80hrs, I also haven't had a huge amount of fun with the game either so you're not missing much kek.
Make sure to update windows, it requires 2H22 or whatever the fuck for W10 and something else for W11 idk. I turned off windows update years ago myself so I had to install a ton of updates for my game to work.

When you finish the game btw it is confirmed the dinosaurs was the right choice. The work coordinating the deployment of the aceles brings the 2 major factions closer together, and it succesfully controls the terrormorph problem. There is no downside to picking dinosaurs, and spiting the pseudoscience zealots is fantastic.

bros i'm actually, unironically enjoying the main quest. a lot of annoying busy work like "go to this planet, get an artifact in a cave/do the temple minigame" shit of course but there were several standouts
>the whole collector segment with several different options to steal the artifact
>hunter attacks your base in utopia city and goes full terrorist by firing into a crowd of unarmed civilians (i thought for sure he'd immediately stop chasing at that point)
>the nasa segment (went on a bit too long but was mostly great)
>split reality lab segment
that last one especially really spooked me the first time you jump to the doomed lab. not saying any of these are completely ground-breaking but they're certainly more memorable than pretty much anything in fallout 4

Spoilers Doug Hope Dimmadome owner of the HopeTech Dimmadome apparently made a magical failed fertilizer that creates "minerals" of industrial use out of pixie dust and angel farts and hired an anti his government mercenary faction to hide the fact it's been used to poison/seed random assholes farms instead of just dusting thousands of miles of land on these planets habituated by 8 whole people. Now if you turn him in to the space cops his company is totally going to go hekkin under aren't corporations and rich people evil reddit????!?
