The appeal is only for real gamers. Sorry you aren't smart or talented enough to enjoy these games for what they are. Masterpieces!

      This but unironically

The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these games, to realize that they're not just fun to play- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Souls games truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the meaning in Souls fans existencial catchphrase "GIT GUD" which itself is a cryptic reference to-

I hope you're aware that FromSoftware has made other games than the Souls series, right? You're saying you don't like any of the Armored Core games?

Demons souls was like a 6.5 when it came out. Yeah it started the souls formula but the game was nothing to write home about
Dark souls 1 is literally just gankfest: the game. Once you learn all the sneaky places devs his enemies the game is piss easy and boring.
Devs thought that because most Borneo gamers thought dsI was hard that the “difficulty”’was the appeal so DSII is just gankfest 2 electric boogaloo with more bullshit enemy placement and gotcha moments and annoying bullshit thrown in
Blood borne was their first decent game but it runs like shit and once you learn the ayyy twist it loses most of the appeal
Miyazaki was forced to make ds 3 to appeal the souls autists so he just reskinned bloodborne and the combat didn’t transfer over super well into the souls setting, but if you liked blood borne you probably like dsIII
Sekiro is kino, the first and only actual masterpiece fromsoft created
Elden ring is a slog that’s cool for the first 20 hours but then just becomes a carousel of reused bosses and enemies for the next 80 hours with like a handful of epic boss fights thrown in

You sound like a woman, nooone gives a shit and Fromsoft was always niche before DS3/Sekiro came along to fix the monumental frick up that was dark souls 2 being a terrible sequel.

I like all of them but they are terrible action games and great RPGs. Also Sekiro isn't a Souls game and Bloodborne is no more special than the rest.

Soulshit is babies, iframe fuel for their autism gameplay. Whenever a game genre is tagged as SOULSLIKE or any SOULSHIT related i dropped it and not buy at all, devs can go suck soul babies dick.

It was fine once, but I really didn't feel a need to finish Dark Souls 2 nor to touch any of their subsequent releases.
