I don't like Monster Hunter Rise's graphics. Hell I'd argue Pokemon Legends Arceus looks better than this.
Rise tries too hard to look realistic when it really doesn't look that way at all, while Legends Arceus sticks with a simple artstyle and it's done well.
>I'd argue Pokemon Legends Arceus looks better than this.
No you wouldn't.
Legends Arceus actually looks great I genuinely don't understand why people think it looks as bad as people say it does.
>I'd argue Pokemon Legends Arceus looks better than this
I'm just as bored as you are. Humor me and do it.
I just think pla matches its intended art style and mh doesnt
Pokemon matches it's intended artstyle of looking mediocre?
Bruh
Cringe take
"Pokemon doesnt look realistic" the main show is an anime moron its not supposed to be realistic
He never once mentioned realism. Get off and finish your homework Greg.
But that's what the Pokemon fans want clearly, they want those realistic graphics. If they think this Pokemon game looks bad, why?
Because it just looks like BOTW but significantly worse.
why are there so many flat textures? why is the grass so sparse? why are there so few trees?
BOTW managed to jam so much crap into the environment and look good. Pokemon is completely barren in comparison.
Rise just looks like World (not graphically but design wise), but more weeb centric.
Pokemon looks like the previous 3D Games but better so it's good and actual improvement in graphics
>Rise just looks like World
Rise looks way worse than world. Granted I play on the switch and the PC screens look WAY better, but I don't have the money for a decent PC so I settle.
You cant honestly be this moronic man, surely not
Do you know how to seperate graphics from design? They're back to back releases and Rise definitely tooks it's cue on the direction MHW took. Just with limitations in mind, and a whole new Japanese motif.
Go frick yourself newbie
Arceus is more fun than Rise on short term, but on the schizo hypodermic surface, Rise tends to perform better
I agree with this.
PLA burnt me the frick out towards the end and it's not exactly a replayable game, even if it was fun before it got annoying.
Anon bottom looks horrendous
how?
the vegetation is horrible and bloom up the ass
>Rise tries too hard to look realistic
i think you're the first person to have that take, congrats
usually worldbabbies will harp about it being the exact opposite since it had to lean more into style to work on the switch, but i guess you've just got zero investment in MH?
Actually I like the game a lot for the gameplay but I just started playing it very recently.
Honestly, I like them both. Because I liked BotW and MHW too.
Thing is, I don't care for Pokemon. Just not gonna knock the style.
I also think the characters in mh look ass
Creatures look very cool
But i think the world looks bad
The hub village whatever the frick area looks good
>I'd argue Pokemon Legends Arceus looks better than this.
I'd argue you're mentally moronic.
People will complain about how bad Legends Arceus looks but dont explain why or how
whats the excuse for the rest of them?
for the rest of what?
The rest of the people who say the graphics are terrible and worse than Rise
Nobody talks about how Rise tries way too hard to look realistic but looks ugly and not realistic at all.
At least Pokemon knows what artstyle they're using and they accomplished it.
The textures are low quality, the shadows are low quality, pop in and other graphical imperfections, the foliage looks really really bad, and as someone else mentioned way too much bloom.
What makes Monster Hunter any better because I genuinely don't understand, the plants look bad in this game and look at this crap
here's an actual in game screen shot not whatever you're showing.
Is this from PC or the Switch?
Pc of course, but it doesn't matter because I played arceus on pc as well with every upscaling feature it still doesn't look as good as this game.
I'm not preeching that it's a great looking game, or even a good looking game it's just a better looking game than arceus
Trees and mountain look like shit imo
>here's an actual in game screen shot not whatever you're showing.
This quotes funny
"Im gonna call you a liar cause im not willing to accept a game i like can have a single flaw"
and I mean people judge legends arceus's worst screenshots so like
He didn't post a screen shot, he posted a cropped image of something that looked like it was taken with a cellphone camera. I made sure to get my angle down nice and close in front of foliage, you can CLEARLY see it doesn't look like his picture.
I'm the biggest Pokémon apologist and PLA is my favorite 3D Pokémon game.
But you're unequivocally incorrect, anon. Absolute garbage opinion.
I genuinely like Monster Hunter but the graphics look like shit but Legends Arceus looks incredible I genuinely don't understand how one could look significantly better than another it just doesn't make sense to me I don't see the issues.
A lot of the water shots look great imo
Its small but i love how water looks in pla
It shows swirly relfections of stuff which is cool
I think legends arceus characters buildings and pokemon look amazing and the worlds look pretty good while i think monster hunters characters are ass monsters are decent buildings are decent and over all world is decent
So far the main fun part of mh is fighting big monsters similar to nobles
But its the only thing i enjoy
While legends arceus i liked catching pokemon noble fights battling and just exploring
>Poketards will defend this
>intentionally posting a bad screenshot of the game to make it look as bad as possible
Really swooping low huh? How about you try a normal screenshot next time instead of intentionally going for a weaker designed area
Literally the third result on google image.
The grass looks great rock looks good sky in background looks good
Literally nothing stands out as bad explain how
>Meanwhile on 3DS
Honestly pretty good. But that isn't Rise, this looks good and Rise doesn't.
Did people ever think that games aren't supposed to be reality?
Rise is more of a generic anime artstyle than "realistic", and it does that just fine. The only really "bad" aspects are explained because it's on the switch.
PLA doesn't look very good because the colors are very flat, it's an open world game with a trash draw distance and the textures outside the characters are genuinely bad(and even the characters don't look too great either). It's a game that really only looks good compared to the even worse looking regular pokemon games.
It doesnt look like generaric anime style except for the characters like what
The pc thing seems true though i cant really comment
rise isn't a mainline idk how it can be compared to world. Also isn't it the first RE engine game on switch?
Solution: Play Monster Hunter Stories II. It's a perfect balance of the two.
Mind telling me more?
dude why are you sperging out you're the one losing the argument
You're just mad I insulted your favorite game.
Legends Arceus is my favorite game.
Thank frick Capcom has realized that releasing on the switch its a waste of resources and all games going forward will be PC day one.
dang it but i only got a switch and i loved these monster hunter games
Does immaturely insulting me make your argument more correct or help show mine is the more reasonable one?
Legends Arceus is ONIONS!
