I get the hate for CoD but at least none of the games have been THIS broken on launch before. Also the campaign has these "open" levels that just feel like warzone slop. The multiplayer, even if it worked, is just remastered MW2 (2009) maps, and zombies is Warzone... with le zombies! Also, the UI is so fucked and complicated I feel like I need a degree in computer fucking science to navigate it. Gone are the days of
>New Game
>Load Game
>Multiplayer
>Zombies
>Settings
>Quit
Also don't forget it's nearly two hundred gigabytes
Dogshit game all around
Who could possibly fucking care? The last good CoD came out in 2009
>Who could possibly fucking care? The last good CoD came out in 2005
FTFY
cod4 was good
Wow, CoD is a soulless cash grab that's unoptimized, rushed to be released asap like a shitty divegrass game, is boring since the last good CoD was Black Ops 1? Damn, that's shocking.
So you're saying... we need to implement yellow/red flags and a QTE minigame for acting hurt on the (battle)field?
but mw3 feels great. My only complaint is that ghost and silent footsteps is way stronger than other perks in their category and that killstreaks are worthless. If those two were fixed I wouldnt have any problems with the game.
I still have yet to buy in on this one, are you saying hold off?
hold off untill the price cut during christmass (maybe sooner), and see if season 1 coming early december adds anything worth a shit, so far the game is not bad, if you like tryarch style of cod (>300ms ttk and 150hp) then you will love the game.
I don't know about other people but for me multiplayer and zombies have massive latency issues for no discernible reason. I checked and my internet is fine, my ping is fine, I turned off texture streaming. If you buy the game now you might be rolling the dice on whether the online is even remotely playable.
If you really want to buy this shit broken game, wait for a discount during the black friday sale
Is the multiplayer good at least? Literally don't give a fuck about campaign
it's broken due to latency/server issues and even if it wasn't all of the maps are recycled from mw2 2009
I feel that it's in a good place. Enjoying it more than mw2
The multi is the best it's been in years, just because it's all remastered og mw2 maps. Nobody makes maps like that anymore.
>sledgehammer make a rushed dogshit game
colour me surprised.
make a rushed dogshit game
they didnt. they made a dlc
>you can't even play MW2 without going through MW3's main menu first
Thanks for ruining 2 games
>nearly two hundred gigabytes
huh?
this is with mp and sp installed
Additional Notes: SSD with 149 GB available space at launch (78 GB if COD HQ and Warzone™ are already installed)
Sony had a deal for 3 cawa dooty games and since Microsoft bought them they turned MW2 DLC (they said last year there was going to be a big DLC in 2023) into a full game to get out of the contract. Its less to do with it being rushed and just gay corporate politics
>completely destroy a franchise just to sabotage Sony
I would call it retarded but they did this with Fable.
I dont think it will hurt them one bit, they turned the game into fortnite with $25 skins, I'm sure they make autistic levels of money even if they lose a ton of sales
Microsoft has only owned COD for like 3 weeks, retard, the reason the DLC got turned into MW3 is because MWII was a broken piece of shit with no content and bled too many players.
Activision just hoped it would be MW2019 all over again.
It's still wild to me that they saw how well MW19 did, looked at its success, and went "yeah, let's just... fuck all this up, just, fuck it all up", and released MW22. Boggles my mind.
I thought mw22 was better in every way.
>better campaign
>better mp
>dmz cool
>warzone runs on my pc
>they're not having to balance 3 different games worth of guns in warzone 1.0
>better campaign
Come on, dude. Really? The twenty "direct people through cameras" missions got your rocks off, huh?
>better MP
If you're actually physically handicapped, maybe. 19 had incredibly fluid movement and sliding and stuff that really let you push people, MW2 was like 70% people camping in hideyholes.
>warzone
is cancer in every iteration
>DMZ
was fucking awful
>balancing
Who cares?
MW19 literally (and I cannot stress enough how LITERALLY I'm saying this) only succeeded because of covid lockdowns.
>Call of Duty fans eat so much shit that Activision finally releases pure shit and the game still sells like crazy
Imagine my shock.
>AI shit
>he says while posting in a thread of games made by AI
the devs were making a different call of duty and then they were made to swap over to development of this instead. They had a very short time to make it and it was rushed out the door.
>Scottish
Deserved.
what did you expect? last good CoD dropped in 2012
the campaign for black ops cold war is unironically phenomenal
Pipe down, it was okay. That game just gets fucked over by being on the same engine as MW19
DMZ is based, and the only reason to even have this game installed in the first place.
I'd only consider buying it for zombies but it's always lacking at launch. Better to just wait a couple months and get it on sale when it as a decent amount of content.
> zombies is Warzone... with le zombies!
Is this bad? I didn’t play warzone but i’ve been having an itch to play. Is it more like WaW/BO1 or is it like that one with a million easter eggs everyone expects you to know and gumballs?
it's honestly kinda fun. It's similar to "outbreak" in cold war, which was just a big open map with little mini missions to do but yeah it's very much like warzone is nowadays. like 10 or 12 teams of 3(or less if you want) drop into the upcoming wz map and go around doin missions and extracting items to make you more powerful the next time you go in(pack a punch a gun right away, start with multiple perks, etc.) No PvP aspect.
