I get the hate for CoD but at least none of the games have been THIS broken on launch before.

I get the hate for CoD but at least none of the games have been THIS broken on launch before. Also the campaign has these "open" levels that just feel like warzone slop. The multiplayer, even if it worked, is just remastered MW2 (2009) maps, and zombies is Warzone... with le zombies! Also, the UI is so fucked and complicated I feel like I need a degree in computer fucking science to navigate it. Gone are the days of

Wow, CoD is a soulless cash grab that's unoptimized, rushed to be released asap like a shitty divegrass game, is boring since the last good CoD was Black Ops 1? Damn, that's shocking.

So you're saying... we need to implement yellow/red flags and a QTE minigame for acting hurt on the (battle)field?

but mw3 feels great. My only complaint is that ghost and silent footsteps is way stronger than other perks in their category and that killstreaks are worthless. If those two were fixed I wouldnt have any problems with the game.

hold off untill the price cut during christmass (maybe sooner), and see if season 1 coming early december adds anything worth a shit, so far the game is not bad, if you like tryarch style of cod (>300ms ttk and 150hp) then you will love the game.

I don't know about other people but for me multiplayer and zombies have massive latency issues for no discernible reason. I checked and my internet is fine, my ping is fine, I turned off texture streaming. If you buy the game now you might be rolling the dice on whether the online is even remotely playable.

it's broken due to latency/server issues and even if it wasn't all of the maps are recycled from mw2 2009

The multi is the best it's been in years, just because it's all remastered og mw2 maps. Nobody makes maps like that anymore.

Sony had a deal for 3 cawa dooty games and since Microsoft bought them they turned MW2 DLC (they said last year there was going to be a big DLC in 2023) into a full game to get out of the contract. Its less to do with it being rushed and just gay corporate politics

I dont think it will hurt them one bit, they turned the game into fortnite with $25 skins, I'm sure they make autistic levels of money even if they lose a ton of sales

Microsoft has only owned COD for like 3 weeks, retard, the reason the DLC got turned into MW3 is because MWII was a broken piece of shit with no content and bled too many players.
Activision just hoped it would be MW2019 all over again.

It's still wild to me that they saw how well MW19 did, looked at its success, and went "yeah, let's just... fuck all this up, just, fuck it all up", and released MW22. Boggles my mind.

If you're actually physically handicapped, maybe. 19 had incredibly fluid movement and sliding and stuff that really let you push people, MW2 was like 70% people camping in hideyholes.

    > zombies is Warzone... with le zombies!
Is this bad? I didn’t play warzone but i’ve been having an itch to play. Is it more like WaW/BO1 or is it like that one with a million easter eggs everyone expects you to know and gumballs?

it's honestly kinda fun. It's similar to "outbreak" in cold war, which was just a big open map with little mini missions to do but yeah it's very much like warzone is nowadays. like 10 or 12 teams of 3(or less if you want) drop into the upcoming wz map and go around doin missions and extracting items to make you more powerful the next time you go in(pack a punch a gun right away, start with multiple perks, etc.) No PvP aspect.
