It's actually insane how good of a job Larian did, because even I accepted the deal in act 3. The only reason I save scummed and chose to actually not take the deal, was because I realized I will go to the house of hope no matter my decision.
That's why he is so great. He is able to make you ignore the rule to never accept a deal of a devil. The most insane part is that he is never forcing you to accept it. He just used his words and that's it, while you can always just leave.
