I saw the entire 1st season and I didn't understand the huge hype behind this series
its fun
baby's first shonen, it's pretty much the newest one since naruto, so it's a new generation
It sure as hell isn't comparable to the shonenshit running for 1000+ episodes
True, it's kinda boring and too serious.
Just looks aesthetically pleasing.
It isn't even pretty. It's just well animated. The animation have some people that care doing it but beyond that is unremarkable as a story. I forced myself to finish it. At least I finished the 1st season. I don't think I'll ever touch it again.
Mugen Train, the movie, is the best it has to offer so far. If you liked S1 enough to finish it, i recommend it.
No. I have seen enough.
Ok. It isn't worth getting back into if you decided you were done, just wanted you to know that the best part was the very next thing if you were interested.
I am not interested. I forced myself to finish S1 because the series was supposed to be this phenomenon that everyone was watching because it was the next big thing and it was going to be bigger than Naruto and Dragon Ball and I didn't want to be miss out. Turns out it is just an ok story that is well animated and that's basically it. Nothing really remarkable about the characters. Yes, the MC having his family killed is touching but once he finds his sister or whatever and embarks on his quest it becomes a DRAG. I don't want to watch that. It's not even close as engaging as Naruto or DBZ and I thought it was supposed to be better. I feel I was scam by an even bigger retard than me and that makes me mad so now I hate this series.
Dont forget all the asspulls.
I for one am kind of glad Japan finally caught on to the idea that you don't need a show to be 200+ episodes for it to be popular.
its pretty
that's all there was to it
It’s dumb fun
the show's quite basic and easily enjoyable, it just so happens that the whole 1st season has Tanjiro as the only character and he's not enough to carry the whole show
No. Nope, you are not going to con me again into watching even more of this bland slop.
Its bleach for zoomers
Babbies 1st shounen with ufotable animation and kajiura OST. That's literally it. It isn't dialogue-heavy or 'confusing' like Fate so that's why it clicks with kids and mutts.
Well animated, simplistic revenge story about killing Dracula. I don't get why people get pissed at it when countless movies have retold the classic vampire stories a million times.
>simplistic revenge story about killing Dracula
I don't see anything wrong with that.
It's a simple shounen that doesn't become annoying with how characters act (outside of the blonde one for some folk, but even he changes) and avoids the pitfalls a lot of other shonen fall into. It ended without dragging itself on and did so with a fairly natural pace, there felt like there were actual stakes for characters since the ensemble cast (once they're brought in) are all enjoyable. I was worried Tanjiro would be another Deku with him also crying at times, but he will outright kill his enemies regardless of his feelings on the matter which is refreshing.
tl;dr It's standard but fresh, not annoying anywhere, and the anime has top tier animation
time for a food analogy. It's like vanilla ice cream. It's fine and inoffensive, but if its your favorite, I'm going to have severe doubts you've seen any other show.
>starting out vanilla is easy and tasty, so you like it quite a bit
>you start to branch out and experiment with new flavors
>you start trying new and exciting limited release flavors
>until you finally realize good vanilla is an indicator of quality, and that simple flavors done well surpass unusual flavors done with mediocrity
Literally carried by it's production value.
Other than that, it's either mediocre, or outright bad at parts.
>a lot of anime content they can adapt now.
They pretty much have 90% of the manga released as anime now.
Demon Blade ain't no Naruto. It had a quick definitive end.
Thank fuck for that.
For me it's semidraws
>semidraws
that yellow purple dude gave me Nights feels about his butt
fuck nezuko
God I wish.
Episode 19 is masterfully directed and one of the best single episodes in the medium. Most people just talk about the animation of the final sequence, but the episode is full of little storytelling and visual details that you might need a second watch to fully grasp like Shinobu explaining the nature of exactly why a person's life flashes before their eyes when they're about to die, that play into that final sequence that people go nuts over.
Everything before that was solid but nothing great. Everything after that is trying to various degrees to recapture that moment. HunterxHunter is better.
True
The only criticism I can give Demon Slayer is the fact they aren't using ranged weapons or spears to fight japanese vampires, just use the pointy stick of war.
You need to decapitate, which the katana is iconic for due to ritualized suicide and execution.
Except that the top 3 Moons + Muzan literally cannot die by decapitation and you can just deus ex machina them out of existence.
Yes, the series gets worse with asspulls as it goes. The standard "demon" that they theoretically should be fighting requires
>sunlight
or
>decapitation
to kill. It gets stupid as each fight strays from that, to the point where Big Urn homosexual dying to decapitation was a shock to the viewer, instead of the other one surviving it.
Jarfag is the worst
>Demon Slayer is a fantasy anime set in Japan's Taish Era, which lasted from July 30th, 1912 to December 25th, 1926.
I'm talking about Gatling guns
or maybe some bolt action rifles.

nezuko footjob
>game covers first season + movie
>dlc drops season 2 characters with no story
if they make another its gonna be weird
Can cosplayers who haven't played the game their cosplay is from be considered true fans?
