started playing it for the first time a few days ago. Pretty fun but I am absolute shit at fighting enemy ships, especially when there's more than two. The lockon isn't help me much either it seems.
...are you shitting me? This has the most casual dogfighting I've ever seen in a game. There's literally a button that turns you towards your target. The game even auto-aims slightly for you in addition to showing you a reticle of where you need to aim to lead a target.
I like hopping in my ship and flying between planets. But that's about all I love. Why is the whole game so damn casual and easy? Nothing is even allowed to attack you unless it has a big red icon on your HUD.
Really comfy. It's primarily a single player game that makes running into players an event in itself. It's like somehow running into another Minecraft player in your solo world and finding their base. Weird energy. There ARE multiplayer quests and stuff but they arent the focus by any means
>Are there servers
That would really defeat the point.
wait
is it like always online elite dangeresque style where you are in space and there are other people in the same space but you may never meet anyway or is there offline solo?
>Devs shit their brains out and start releasing trash patches that ruin everything
Classic
>fixed a few days later
you just want to b***h

lower shield with laser then use missiles
or you can get allies npc to fight for you
Lead your shots, homie.

I love scanning and mining rocks
No man’s sky 2

Same, it's fun as a casual space trucker, but exploring the randomly generated worlds on foot is very boring.
>the 2X-year old exploorer
how is this solo?
are there servers?

Yes. The former.
There is a central hub for players to meet up at but otherwise it's what you described
i thought someone said you can edit resource value drops or something so i thought it was a personal world thing
I misunderstood the question. There IS playable offline, its just not what the game is designed around
That's still wrong, the game was supposed to have multiplayer at launch, but the devs had to add it in much later due to time/budget constraints.
Don't listen to this anon, he's either lying or confused:
The game is playable offline, online multiplayer is optional.
How about cave exploring?
>Trying to find underground animal
Frick that noise
>scan 12/13 animals
>last is a rare underground animal
Did they get rid of the nexus in the switch version I can't seem to grind quicksilver anymore ;_;
So it's worth pirating, or it's not fun?
it's pretty fun despite it's drawbacks about being "too" easy
Yar har fiddle dee dee
I'll finiah a goyslop game and going to pirate that shit
