I'd try any of the GBA titles next, Aria is the best one
If you want something like SotN you should check out Aria of Sorrow and the DS games. If you want something like RoB then you should try playing Bloodlines, SCV4 or Chronicles.
Lost Painting is objectively best but I understand your point of view.
Anyway, buy the Advance Collection. HoD is a bit mediocre but the others are amazing. I have a particular soft spot for CotM, even if Aria is the better game.
Have the weird Netflix schizos left? Can we finally have comfy CV threads again?

This is a good one too, I always forget about it.
There’s a Vamp Hunter D AMV that uses this, it convinced me to watch the movies.
The area where it plays is a bit small and the track doesn't repeat in other areas like a few others, so it's understandable.

i couldn't stand them at first due to how claustrophobic the screen feels, but Aria in particular is really well designed so that you never get hit by some bullshit offscreen

That duo game release of SoTN and Rondo is so based. You get to experience two great Castlevania styles even though I keep getting filtered in Rondo of Blood. Im doing my best
The fact that they changed the voice acting and a lot of the sound effects turns me off. I wish there were a modern port with the old sounds/VA but the extras from the modern releases.
This is true, Bloodstained is a great game. It doesn't come close from an art direction or music standpoint, but from a gameplay perspective it's the closest we've gotten to SotN since that game came out.
I hope Bloodstained 2 manages to fix the aesthetic issues with the first game.

My favorites from Bloodstained are generally the ones that go a bit hard for some reason. SotN had a lot of nice, contemplative themes but I feel like Bloodstained's tracks like that feel a bit...I dunno false I guess.
Also, Exorschism is such a stupid, edgy word and I fucking love it.
