All that's worth wearing is Barbarian/attack up, weather resistance if applicable and sometimes stealth
There's not even an equivalent to BotW's Ancient armor (no the Bone shit is not good enough), a speed up set or anything else that might be worth using (maybe a "Gloom set" that buffs the Gloom weapons while reducing your defense to 1)
Climbing gear is a godsend, glide suit and mining suit have their uses.
But the actual point of the armor sets is to look good, that's why the great fairies exist to let you boost the stats of whichever ones you actually like
>Climbing gear is a godsend
Not really, all it does is make your basic climbing faster, not the jump which is what you'll be using if you're stocked up on stamina potions (trivial with duplicating), plus the game has many methods of cheesing height gain like rocket shields, hoverboard and so on
Idk what glide or mining do but they don't sound useful.
If the sets were about fashion they should have let you put any effect on any armor
>reddit spacing >forms opinions on things they clearly have no idea about before even seeing what they do >clearly homosexual
Oh hey, a normalfag! Don't get many of your kind in here.
Looked them up since you seemed confident enough to post random insults >removes fall damage
I assume this is some kind of joke because fall damage is already irrelevant in this game, even after losing your stamina (if you somehow do) you can pull out the paraglider once before landing
>makes Link glow
Wow its fucking nothing. Put a seed on your hoverboard for the same shit, it barely matters anyway once you know where the points of interest underground are.

All 3 pieces give a good distance. More fun that relying on Tulin for horizontal distance
>Idk what glide or mining do but they don't sound useful.
Miner's set gives you a ridiculously large glow and surprisingly good armor boosts. Great for depths exploration. Glider's gives you more air control when you're skydiving - with the full set you unironically can cross gaps and fall with better precision than the paraglider, and if you upgrade each piece once they give a set bonus that gives you immunity to fall damage.
Why the fuck didn't they make his champion clothing green? It's the "default/canon" armor, why not making it green. Or at the very least, just let me fucking dye it. Why can't I dye it?
iirc it's blue so that his outfit would pop out from the environment more or something along those lines. I had my Hylian set dyed green for a while and I can see where they were coming from
Not what I'm saying, Schizo.
I'm saying that there should be more varied environments in the game (BotW) other than 80 percent grass/grassy forest, 10 percent desert and 10 percent mountain.
Not counting Shrines.
they couldn't put a different shade of green, blue green mix? I think it's irreverent because you can change the armor anyways but taking away the iconic green for the ugly blue tunic is stupid
They wanted him to look different because they wanted it. It worked well enough and made another iconic look even if you don't like it. Not like you don't have other options anyway.
>Love Fierce Diety armor >It also gives a huge attack bonus
The combo wombo. The only downside is that the sword can't be fused with anything or it looks like dogshit. The entire blade gets replaced no matter what I choose as a fusion material. I also don't understand why we can't upgrade the phantom Ganon armor or Dark Link.
Bone attack up and night speed increased. Ok? is that supposed to be OP? The yiga and stealth outfits give a night speed increase too. They make the Dark Link set worthless aside from aesthetics. Nintendo is so retarded I'm glad the game is on PC.
Lets be real, the Stealth, Glide, and Fierce deity armor sets are the only ones you'll ever really need. Oh i guess the Froggy armor set is useful too. But ever since i realized you could fuse elemental items to sheilds to stay warm or cold i realized i'd never need to wear weather resistant armor.
I never quite figured out what that does exactly, does it just periodically make the spot you were standing in before glow so you can, explore without using the lamp seeds? because that doesn't really seem worth wearing an armor set for, those seeds aren't rare or expensive enough to not just use.

it gives you the max glow buff without needing potions, but it's not that useful
4 days ago

Every ten steps or so it leaves a glowy effect, so you can see where you've been. It's a bit less bright than a brightbloom.
I just wore it a lot because it was so easy to upgrade.
>Fierce deity
other protagonists sets are better because of the attack up set bonus that actually stacks with normal attack up (bananas are piss easy to find)
HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK
Yeah at some point i realized fusing a Fire Lizalfos or Ice Lizalfos horn to your equipped shield has the same effect as holding a lit torch or an ice rod did in the first game, so you can easily keep 2 royal shields with ice and fire enchants on them and you'll be good for light temperatures, and if you combine that with food you'll be good for extreme temperatures too. So the only time you'll actually need weather gear is for the superhot environments that need total heat immunity.
>"Glad you could make it Farore." >"Watch your tone with me fairy boy. You may be my champion but I'm still your goddess." >"As if I could forget. Listen, Farore. There's something about the gloom you should know..." >"Oh no. We're too late. These Koroks have been infected. They may look fine now, but it's a matter of time before they turn into Stalfos." >"What?" >"The entire Korok race must be purged." >"How can you even consider that? There's got to be some other way!" >"Damn it, Farore. As your champion and consort, I order you to purge this race!" >"You are not my consort yet, boy. Nor would I obey that command if you were!" >"Then I must consider this treason against Hylia." >"Treason?!? Have you lost your mind Link?" >"Have I? Goddess Farore, by my right of Hero of Hyrule and sovereignty of Hylia, I hereby relieve you from your duties and suspend your godliness from service." >"Link you can't just..." >"It's done! Those of you who have the will to save Hyrule, follow me. The rest of you... get out of my sight." >"You've just crossed a terrible threshold, Link." >"Zelda?" >"I'm sorry Link, I can't watch you do this."
The Depths like everything else. You need to fight a King Gleeok for it under the Thyphlo Ruins.
just started but does the shield and master sword break/have cool downs this game?
Master Sword breaks and comes back. Hylian Shield breaks, but all unique weapons and shields in the game can be rebought at a Poe Statue using Poes, which are easy enough to get. There's also a way to repair equipment now by feeding things to Octorocks.
You knew the answer to that before you even typed the question, retard.
Why the fuck wouldn't it be just like BotW?
You think they're going to demand that you glue scroblin dildos to sticks for 50 hours then give you an unbreakable weapon?
i think the only amiibo exclusive thing is epona, but she's made obsolete by not being able to wear towing harnesses and horses being upgradeable this time around
I think the game expects you to use on quests like the one where you have to gather logs to rebuild lurelin village, but usually I just glue everything together and carry with whatever
for me it's either Soldier's Helm or Hylian hood (dyed crimson) + Royal guard chest + Fierce Deity legs or Hylian hood (dyed blue) + Soldier's chest + Zora legs. I also want to find that cool Aztec looking set but don't want to look it up
What kind of materials do you need to upgrade them this time? I have 45 hours into the game and it's ridiculous how few armors I have. I just have the hylian set, just got the soldier armor set, and the rito set, the rest are single scraps.
Peak
Probably could have done this in BotW too but I'm only now getting into the habit of abusing the heat from staves to keep my fashion in different climates
I got the Biggoron Sword in like my first 10 hours of playing and I immediately bought a house to keep it in storage. Now I just picked up the Sword of the Hero.
Do I need to worry about these breaking? In BotW I picked up the Hylian Shield way after I beat the game so I never knew if there's a way to repair these what I am assuming unique items.
Without spoiling to much in case you care, you can purchase Hylian Shields after some quest in Hateno village.
Could you give me a rough indication where I should be looking to find the Hylian shield? In BotW I stumbled across it naturally but in TotK I finished the game without ever seeing it.
I really like the gloom set.
I got the master sword. Tbh I thought I failed the check and was disappointed. It's a cool sequence.
It always looks cool. Seems really useful in this game.
OoT outfit looks the best. Bright green pops on the washed out world and the level of detail on the outfit pretty well fits the existing aesthetic. TP tunic is too muted, SS’s hair looks weird, Wild tunic needs some good pants and gloves, and all the others just don’t fit an adult Link.
Personally, I like: >Wild Cap >Skyward Tunic >Hylian Pants
Looks similar to the complete Skyward set, but the cap is longer and has the BoTW haircut, and the pants are much thinner/less baggy. IMO it's the best green tunic outfit you can put together, matches the aesthetic of the game better than any other complete set. I'll post a picture later.
Can someone give me a hint as to where the Yiga pants are? According to the map, I thought it’d be to the left of Korok Forest, but there was nothing there.
Armor is the only exciting reward for exploration in this game purely because it’s permanent, even if half the time you’ll never wear it. If anything it’s a testament to how much durability saps the fun out of things.
Half of the time the only reason why I'm not excited with weapons as rewards is because everything I'm already carrying is stronger, if they were permanent this would be even worse, I get way more excited when I see a new enemy variant
why did the devs decide to ruin such an iconic sword?, fusing something to the master sword makes it that each time you swing, the sword changes form to the shit you fused it with, it sucks. Any mods that gets rid of that shit?
I don't mind weapon durability but I want a mod that brings back the unique weapons from BotW and lets you restore the decayed weapons to their pristine form. The elemental blades looked so cool.
>why did the devs decide to ruin such an iconic sword?, fusing something to the master sword makes it that
Why did you decide to ruin such an iconic sword by fusing something to it
I like to put on box art clothes or "canon" ones in my games for established characters. Feels wrong to play with hero of time armor pieces imo. As for the legs, I like these ones because I'm exploring sky islands

Yes but only the fairy tale version of gnomes, not the irl ones.
So why did they make it so the fused master sword has weird gay green writing on it when it's fused rather than just making the triforce on the sword glow?
>Mastersword can still break
I get it, she is super fucking old, tired, and would break the game if she wasnt, but there should be a quest where you can make her stronger and unbreakable. Make it after you get all the sages so it means something
>Super Old >just spent the past 10000 years being powered up >Comes back weaker than post-trial of the sword Master Sword
Zelda can die for all I care.
>Zelda keeps integer overloading the Master Sword.
Stupid bitch.
Ganondorf shatters the blade instantly before it's fortified in light. He can't break it at all after that.
Ganondorf shouldn't have been able to break it AT ALL. It was literally created for the sole purpose of killing him/his past god self.
I could understand if he used the Triforce of Power to shatter it or something but there's no indication he has that anymore either!
I like to think that since the Triforce hasnt been a thing for thousands of years. It weakened the mastersword to the point where she can break but still has the power to reform since its a built in thing. Once they figure out that the Triforce exists they can fix the Mastersword proper or something.
I wish fuse worked differently for the master sword >never changes its appearance (though I like the runes, I'm a DK main in WoW) >doesn't change its damage as drastically >adopts the element of what's fused to it (temporarily, like a food buff) >can keep fusing things to keep its energy up (as in it's a fuel tank that you can feed with Fuse) >questline to improve the master sword permanently like in alttp and albw which change the color of its glow
>Link, I know you can finally defeat Calamity Ganon! Not that you've already done it and just came back for the DLC or anything!
This was the most annoying shit.
They should do a 3rd game with this Link and Zelda and have them time travel so far back that they go back to the old games and delete them due to meddling.
So they are 100% just going to keep this incarnation of Link and Zelda going forward with the franchise as the main Link and Zelda. We wont get another version of Link and Zelda in whatever the next mainline game is in 5 or 6 years or whatever. It will just be this Link and Zelda going someplace else to do random shit unrelated to Hyrule. BOTW and TOTK were too insanely popular to leave their incarnations behind.
It will be Princess Hilda getting her life ruined next time, next game will feature Lorule, which will be the same map as the Hyrule map with some colors inverted and maybe a few different retextured NPCs walking around. (same enemies though of course.)
Why doesn't Japan just drop kanji if they need subtitles for their own fucking language?
they don't 'need' it, the furigana is for kids
is THAT what that is? i know nothing about japanese i always thought the occasional extra writing above some words was a weird quirk. what is it's purpose?
>ganondorf got the master sword shoved into his head >zelda got the master sword shoved into her head
so when are we gonna see link getting the master sword shoved into his head?
Considering the Triforce insignia is on basically fucking everything, I can only assume they should all know what the fuck it means.
Could you imagine if the royal family of a country used cave symbols in their coat of arms and had no idea what the fuck they represented?
Shit makes no sense.
>Considering the Triforce insignia is on basically fucking everything, I can only assume they should all know what the fuck it means. >Could you imagine if the royal family of a country used cave symbols in their coat of arms and had no idea what the fuck they represented?
Actually, yes. Triforce is at this point, a form of 'cargo cult' that the believers of have long since lost the capacity to understand.
Cargo cults, for anyone who is too fucking lazy to actually use the internet, can be summarized as stone-age tribes people seeing "the white man" climb out of an airplane and deliver 'care packages' of modern clothing, food and technologies. Then fly off into the sky in their magic flight machine.
The tribes people still see airplanes in the sky from time to time, so they clear trees to make a runway and build non-functional model planes out of sticks. Maybe this time the white man will land and deliver another set of 70's capitalist-intervention-against-communism T-Shirts of mickey mouse? Except the cold war ended a long time ago and any sort of " " " Foreign aid " " " is just used to suppress local economies from developing independence from globalist markets.
The Triforce is probably in a similar state of being. It has been demonstrated as being a direct communication line to the divinity of the setting, like in Wind Waker; the absence of the FUNCTIONAL Triforce means that the goddesses have practically abandoned (or at least fallen silent) about intervention in Hyrule when shit goes sideways.
I do wonder how they will proceed with the series now. Like they cant really do a 3rd game in this Hyrule. so its going to be a brand new thing again like WW to TP or TP to SS. Will they bother connecting it to botw and totk or just set it so far away again that it doesnt matter.
3rd game has 2nd game's Hyrule/Sky Islands/Depths
Plus a Wind Waker ocean the size of that Hyrule, plus sky islands and underwater sections for that part
I'm neutral on it, but when I got the lowered version and found out it came with the hair band rather than Link having his hair flowing free like default it became an instant GOAT for me.
I like the runes on the Master Sword, but I don't know how I feel about it having that subtle color difference between the original blade and where it was regrown.
I actually hate how unnoticeable it is, when I first got it I thought it would have a cool crystal blade, but then it just peeled out and you can barely notice the reformed part
I wish the scars were MORE noticeable, at least for TotK. It's not like it is in
I wish fuse worked differently for the master sword >never changes its appearance (though I like the runes, I'm a DK main in WoW) >doesn't change its damage as drastically >adopts the element of what's fused to it (temporarily, like a food buff) >can keep fusing things to keep its energy up (as in it's a fuel tank that you can feed with Fuse) >questline to improve the master sword permanently like in alttp and albw which change the color of its glow
at all.
My main complaint is how the sword shapeshifts with fuse, I hate it.
Correct. Been using it the whole game after rushing to get it. I'll only switch it out sometimes once I have the full Fierce Deity set. Also, remove the tunic and carry a two-handed axe. Executioner.
Does the game run start to finish on emulators yet?
I have some days off next week might give it an honest try, i wasn't crazy about BoTW but enjoyed it well enough.
That's fine.
Ganon does pathetically little damage if you upgrade at all. It's kinda funny how Nintendo makes the game piss easy if you play all of it.
I'm using the desert voe armor but since ice lizafos so rarely drop their tails I'm probably not going to upgrade it all the way, seeing as I need a grand total of 45 of those fucking things
anons, was the initial design of link suppose to be referencing robin hood or peter pan? seems more like some sort of combination with navi obviously being tinker bell?
1. Why does whistling doesn't make your horse teleport behind you?
2. Where are the rare horses in this game? I deleted by BOTW save so I have ZERO horses now.
3. When am I suppose to explore the caves? After the divine beasts?
4. Why is everything so expensive? I can't afford anything and shite.
5. Where do I find the secret joystick for constructs?
6. Is there a treasure radar in the game?
7. Where do I find cool outfits?
>1. Why does whistling doesn't make your horse teleport behind you?
Because this isn't a shit game >2. Where are the rare horses in this game? I deleted by BOTW save so I have ZERO horses now.
Fuck i should know this one, the horse god told me about it in a dream, I think it said something like there are good horses at Forest of something >3. When am I suppose to explore the caves? After the divine beasts?
Caves? whenever you see one. The Abyss? whenever you feel like it >4. Why is everything so expensive? I can't afford anything and shite.
Sell gems, rubies, sapphires and Topaz are all pretty common and sell for 80-150 rupees >5. Where do I find the secret joystick for constructs?
No idea what you're even asking here >6. Is there a treasure radar in the game?
After you beat your first temple you can get Robbie to give you a shrine radar that can also track enemies and loot >7. Where do I find cool outfits?
Talk to the people dressed like retards, they usually give you hints about armor locations.
>3. When am I suppose to explore the caves? After the divine beasts?
Don't leave half the map untouched, explore now.
And all your other questions are basically answered by this, when you start exploring more of the map you'll find the other shit e.g precious materials to make money, cool outfits, the dispensers for construct parts you need, etc.
>1. Why does whistling doesn't make your horse teleport behind you?
because thats retarded and defeats the whole point of stables
you could only do this in botw if you had the ancient horse armor, which isn't in totk >2. Where are the rare horses in this game? I deleted by BOTW save so I have ZERO horses now.
lol retard
but there's a golden horse in the northwest region, zeldas golden horse >3. When am I suppose to explore the caves After the divine beasts?
no, you can do it whenever you like
but clearing the temples makes it a bit easier with special abilites
just make sure you have anti gloom food >4. Why is everything so expensive? I can't afford anything and shite.
talk to the npcs and do quests
also you have to sell excess gems and other valuable materials eventually >5. Where do I find the secret joystick for constructs?
I'm going to assume you're talking about auto build or the control sticks
auto build you get from discovering the great abandoned mine, control sticks can be found almost anywhere >6. Is there a treasure radar in the game?
yes, talk to robbie >7. Where do I find cool outfits?
chests and the occasional shrine
>1. Why does whistling doesn't make your horse teleport behind you?
poor design choice, too much work to try and spawn the horse behind you in awkward areas. >2. Where are the rare horses in this game? I deleted by BOTW save so I have ZERO horses now.
they're quest rewards, you can get more info on them when you visit stables. >3. When am I suppose to explore the caves? After the divine beasts?
anytime you want, its beneficial to start exploring them as soon as you can for upgrade materials. >4. Why is everything so expensive? I can't afford anything and shite.
sell your ore, do sidequests. if you really need the money and dont care just get your hands on a diamond and dupe glitch it. >5. Where do I find the secret joystick for constructs?
Tarrey Town on the right side of the map, or the sky archipelago above Gerudo Town. >6. Is there a treasure radar in the game?
yes. talk to the old man in lookout landing until he moves to Hateno Village to start the Purah Pad upgrade quest. >7. Where do I find cool outfits?
all of the classic outfits are hidden in mining sites in the depths, and the more rare ones are hidden in the difficult coliseums.
>I ran the whole game wearing only this bad boy and nothing else. Peak tunic design. What about you?
im still looking for the old maps to find these outfits in the depths then i come to find out half of them have some fuckery bosses attached to it and i decided to have only 3 hearts and max stamina im enjoying it but holy fuck i didnt think it would be this hard thanks for the elden ring botw nintendo my dick is hard
I've worn Majora's Mask for like 50 of the 60 hours I've played the game
Not having to deal with those bullet sponge bros is sweet, I have a gorillion batteries now and I can afford to wreck shit with my beam tank now
There's a coliseum with like 5 Lynels somewhere underground, stumbled into it in early game. Don't recall of the top of my head where it is exactly but it might be somewhere southwest.
There's a coliseum with like 5 Lynels somewhere underground, stumbled into it in early game. Don't recall of the top of my head where it is exactly but it might be somewhere southwest.
-1180 -1247 -0499, actually just posted the coords in another thread lmao
Bring a hammer or a lot of bomb arrows, the last Lynel has rock armor.
what was the point of changing links color from green to blue?
Both colors are equally kiddy. You dn't really get "lost" just because of the grass and wearing the green tunics
Official line is as you said
Reality it was just because they wanted to do something different. He was drafted in green and blue too, just alternating.
The removal of the cap however is because one designer said it looks silly.
I'll take that seriously when Nintendo starts consistently depicting Link as right handed, he's still left handed in Link's Awakening and in crossover appearances like Mario Kart 8. Super Smash Bros. is so far the only crossover or "external" material that shows him a rightie and that's because it's using BOTW's Link.
Because my autism was riled by the costume inaccuracies made to accommodate Link somewhat arbitrarily being right-handed in this game. In Skyward Sword it's most people are right handed and it's for motion controls, in Twilight Princess for Wii it's because they were retarded and flipped the whole game world to make Link right-handed for motion controls with way less impact than SS's
Link is interchangeably right/left-handed. He was left-handed initially for sprite mechanics, narratively justified as a superstition of keeping his shield towards Death Mountain. He's been right-handed plenty of times because it's just better for player visual orientation, as most people are right-handed.
He's left-handed in all cases except facing right in the 2D games because of sprite mirroring, you're thinking right-handed with the Death Mountain blurb.
Hyrule Castle docks, ground-level outside the castle. Light a brazier up on a ledge, it unlocked a shrine in the previous game. Mind the Phantom Ganon hands
With how bad this looks it only reinforces that TotK is at best a spinoff but more killed the series and is wearing Link like Vincent D’onofrio in the first MIB.
more like because link is a retard who couldn't figure it out even after seeing ganon use the fake zelda trick
that shit was so obvious after the first blood moon
Impa says that but then she disappears from the game until you clear all four dungeons. The game says the geoglyphs are a main quest but the rest of the game pretends they don't exist at all.
I'm really happy to find out there's an infinite amount of Fierce Deity swords in this game, once you get it the statue that you recover eyes for sells the sword for 160 poes.
Do some enemies types/weapons disappear if the world scales too high?
I've only done the Rito part of the main story, thoroughly exploring the zones related to it and leading up to it, + some limited exploring here and there in other parts, and I already see silver bokoblins/lizalfos/boss bokos. Came across a King Gleeok in the sky and at this point I feel I wonder if I shouldn't leave it alone for now to prevent further scaling up.
Also the info I find for how it worked in BOTW (https://www.zeldadungeon.net/wiki/World_Level#Points_per_Enemy_Kill) says bosses only give points for their first kill, but does that mean once per type of boss or every boss spawn point?
I've scaled pretty fast and so far the only enemy that I can't seem to meet are construct captain III, but I'm pretty sure there should be fixed spawn of every enemy somewhere.
is the glider set worth getting? does it affect paragliding or just the R dive? does R diving with the set get you further than paragliding without it?
The full set has more lateral speed than the paraglider, with the obvious drawback being that you'll have less time to make use of the speed. It's more useful the less stamina you have I guess.
Nice.
Most of the armor sets are useless
All that's worth wearing is Barbarian/attack up, weather resistance if applicable and sometimes stealth
There's not even an equivalent to BotW's Ancient armor (no the Bone shit is not good enough), a speed up set or anything else that might be worth using (maybe a "Gloom set" that buffs the Gloom weapons while reducing your defense to 1)

For fashion, I switched between the boxart look, Fierce Deity, and Royal Set with Amber Earrings.
Why the fuck didn't they make his champion clothing green? It's the "default/canon" armor, why not making it green. Or at the very least, just let me fucking dye it. Why can't I dye it?
Would it be so hard for them to just let Link look like this?
>white pants
>lame
alright did both.
Slightly brighter green, like OoT Tunic would work
?
The brighter green and the bright blue really does pop in nice way.
NINTENDO
It's nicer for sure. The hood always looks stupid forced up.
Better than the current mod
what pants
glider pants
you get them from doing the skydiving challenges
Now you're cooking with gas
White Pants, like OOT Link, is better than whatever gay shit you like.
Made the scarf blue to resemble hw link
they want a break with tradition for the sake of it.
I'd wear that and only that if I could dye it green. Now I have to use the Hylian one which doesn't look as good but can be green.
iirc it's blue so that his outfit would pop out from the environment more or something along those lines. I had my Hylian set dyed green for a while and I can see where they were coming from
maybe mix up the environment so that more than 50 percent of the game isn't fucking boring ass grassy plains?
Fuck I hate Open World.
>PUT LESS GRASS IN THE GAME
shutup
Not what I'm saying, Schizo.
I'm saying that there should be more varied environments in the game (BotW) other than 80 percent grass/grassy forest, 10 percent desert and 10 percent mountain.

They wanted him to look different because they wanted it. It worked well enough and made another iconic look even if you don't like it. Not like you don't have other options anyway.
Personally I don't have any real issue with visual acuity on Link's outfit but I guess I'm just the top percent.
Because it's not a real Zelda game.
le epic subversion of expectations
you can put the hood down in this game?
Yes, Finish the Hateno mayoral quest chain, put the hood on, and talk to Cece
She'll tell Link to take the hood down.
Damn I wouldn't have found it myself
Also buy another hood after you talk to her. Then you can have both.
Really? I did that and the second one was also down
Only if you buy it after. She changes all in your inventory.
>Love Fierce Diety armor
>It also gives a huge attack bonus
The combo wombo. The only downside is that the sword can't be fused with anything or it looks like dogshit. The entire blade gets replaced no matter what I choose as a fusion material. I also don't understand why we can't upgrade the phantom Ganon armor or Dark Link.
Bone attack up and night speed increased. Ok? is that supposed to be OP? The yiga and stealth outfits give a night speed increase too. They make the Dark Link set worthless aside from aesthetics. Nintendo is so retarded I'm glad the game is on PC.
>phantom Ganon armor or Dark Link.
Radiant and Sheikah do the same thing but better
Lets be real, the Stealth, Glide, and Fierce deity armor sets are the only ones you'll ever really need. Oh i guess the Froggy armor set is useful too. But ever since i realized you could fuse elemental items to sheilds to stay warm or cold i realized i'd never need to wear weather resistant armor.
I like the glowy footprints from my mining armour
I never quite figured out what that does exactly, does it just periodically make the spot you were standing in before glow so you can, explore without using the lamp seeds? because that doesn't really seem worth wearing an armor set for, those seeds aren't rare or expensive enough to not just use.
it gives you the max glow buff without needing potions, but it's not that useful
Every ten steps or so it leaves a glowy effect, so you can see where you've been. It's a bit less bright than a brightbloom.
I just wore it a lot because it was so easy to upgrade.
I'd say Radiant is pretty useful.
Molduga Jaw weapon + Royal Guard combo + Bone weapon set gives the ultimate Lynel destroyer weapon
It buffs their damage, that's all
>Fierce deity
other protagonists sets are better because of the attack up set bonus that actually stacks with normal attack up (bananas are piss easy to find)
Huh? The bonus from FD doesn't stack, but the bonus from, I don't know, OoT does?
>Lets be real, the Stealth, Glide, and Fierce deity armor sets are the only ones you'll ever really need. Oh i guess the Froggy armor set is useful too. But ever since i realized you could fuse elemental items to sheilds to stay warm or cold i realized i'd never need to wear weather resistant armor.
I haven't found all the armor yet but I really like the "Do more damage in weather" armors
I mostly use the climbing gear
is fierce diety armor from previous games/dlc? Also, is it something you find through old maps?
Yes and yes
You can still use amiibo too
There’s a quest near one of the stables that starts the fierce deity gear quest, there’s two guys outside a cave full of chests you want to talk to
Go into the save with a bunch of 1 rupee chests near Eldin Stable for the old maps.
The Royal Set looks so fucking good. The hat is a bit eh, but overall such a cool looking set.
Where 2 cop royal guard drip
In the floating hyrule castle.
You can also find champion tunic there
do the election season quests in Hateno
I'd play this game exclusively as FD Link. Can you choose to use just twohanded weapons?
Why is there green shit on the Master Sword?
it gets those runes on it whenever you fuse something to it
Link's a death knight.
An Unholy death Knight at that. Makes sense since BotW was all about him coming back from the dead.
Nice runeblade there, Arthas.
Wouldn't take Link as Unholy spec.
Glad you could make it, Tulin
you may be the hero of the calamity but I'm still your superior as a sage
>"Glad you could make it Farore."
>"Watch your tone with me fairy boy. You may be my champion but I'm still your goddess."
>"As if I could forget. Listen, Farore. There's something about the gloom you should know..."
>"Oh no. We're too late. These Koroks have been infected. They may look fine now, but it's a matter of time before they turn into Stalfos."
>"What?"
>"The entire Korok race must be purged."
>"How can you even consider that? There's got to be some other way!"
>"Damn it, Farore. As your champion and consort, I order you to purge this race!"
>"You are not my consort yet, boy. Nor would I obey that command if you were!"
>"Then I must consider this treason against Hylia."
>"Treason?!? Have you lost your mind Link?"
>"Have I? Goddess Farore, by my right of Hero of Hyrule and sovereignty of Hylia, I hereby relieve you from your duties and suspend your godliness from service."
>"Link you can't just..."
>"It's done! Those of you who have the will to save Hyrule, follow me. The rest of you... get out of my sight."
>"You've just crossed a terrible threshold, Link."
>"Zelda?"
>"I'm sorry Link, I can't watch you do this."
que webm related.
Is this the twilight set? I have the legs and top, where do you find the hat?
The Depths like everything else. You need to fight a King Gleeok for it under the Thyphlo Ruins.
Master Sword breaks and comes back. Hylian Shield breaks, but all unique weapons and shields in the game can be rebought at a Poe Statue using Poes, which are easy enough to get. There's also a way to repair equipment now by feeding things to Octorocks.
oh cool, i heard rock octorocks could repair gear that's pretty cool that it also works for something like the Hylian Shield
how do the poes in the depths work, do they respawn in the same spots they appeared if you collected them a while ago? I assume they're not finite.
They respawn every Blood Moon.
just started but does the shield and master sword break/have cool downs this game?
yes, they can both break. only the sword comes back.
is there a way to get the shield back like in BotW?
No. In fact, a soon as you loot it from the chest, it says "Your Hylian Shield is badly damaged" just to spite you.
pretty sure the shield is an Amiibo only thing, just keep scanning and hope you luck out.
It's not obtainable through amiibos at all. It's in Hyrule Castle.
You can get the Hylian shield from lighting torches at the castle docks. If it breaks you can buy it again from Cece for 3000 rupees.
can you dupe shields/weapons yet
cece sells its after you do that dumb election quest in hateno. or just feed it to a rock octorok to repair it
that quest line was kino
You knew the answer to that before you even typed the question, retard.
Why the fuck wouldn't it be just like BotW?
You think they're going to demand that you glue scroblin dildos to sticks for 50 hours then give you an unbreakable weapon?
Take your meds moron
yes but there's a glitch to give it infinite durability
how many times do i have to scan the amiibo to get the TP set? i keep getting the bitch epona and i keep having to put her down with a few bomb arrows
nice short skirt
I personally used the Tunic and Hat of the Wild and the Hylian Trousers
I played a real 3D Zelda Game
Are the outfits available IN-GAME now without an Amiibo in TOTK?
Yep.
Unironically, yes. THey added them all in as treasures for all those weird and elaborate side-caves.
i think the only amiibo exclusive thing is epona, but she's made obsolete by not being able to wear towing harnesses and horses being upgradeable this time around
i still haven't found a reason to use a harness except the one time i had to drag those band fags to the first great fairy
I think the game expects you to use on quests like the one where you have to gather logs to rebuild lurelin village, but usually I just glue everything together and carry with whatever
Horses aren't strong enough to carry all the logs you need, I just made a truck out of the logs
Also Wolf Link who is both Amiibo AND BotW exclusive (no longer works in TotK).
for me it's either Soldier's Helm or Hylian hood (dyed crimson) + Royal guard chest + Fierce Deity legs or Hylian hood (dyed blue) + Soldier's chest + Zora legs. I also want to find that cool Aztec looking set but don't want to look it up
Ganker - Fashion
What kind of materials do you need to upgrade them this time? I have 45 hours into the game and it's ridiculous how few armors I have. I just have the hylian set, just got the soldier armor set, and the rito set, the rest are single scraps.
For tp
Topaz and stars
Hood down
Champion's Leathers
Boots of the sky because tights are shit.
For me it's the skyward sword pants they just look comfy and go well with a lot of the other outfits
Nice basic bitch hylian shield, mate.
>We have mirror shield at home
If you aren't solving the puzzles with a mirror sword you ain't doin' it right.
It's insane how quickly reflecting light with this thing degrades the durability.
So much soul.
>cyan dye is a slightly different shade to the Champion's leathers
Peak
Probably could have done this in BotW too but I'm only now getting into the habit of abusing the heat from staves to keep my fashion in different climates
>Diamond Circlet
>Soldier Armor
>Soldier Boots
Warrior Prince
What's the armor at the bottom right that we can't see?
The glider armour? Think they are found on islands over Thundra Plateau, Korok Forest and... Somewhere in Akkala I think?
its easier to attach a gem to a shield.
I'm wearing the wild set because it has more defense.
Set bonus being only one point of attack boost is lame
This, plus also it's dyable unlike the nostalgia outfits. And much more easily attainable this time.
I use Sheikah armor 90% of the time because stealth+night speed up is insane
Set also looks good as fuck.
However I was very disappointed when Sheik's mask doesn't keep the set bonus
>I ran the whole game wearing only this bad boy
For what purpose? This isn't Zelda game anymore.
xd
I got the Biggoron Sword in like my first 10 hours of playing and I immediately bought a house to keep it in storage. Now I just picked up the Sword of the Hero.
Do I need to worry about these breaking? In BotW I picked up the Hylian Shield way after I beat the game so I never knew if there's a way to repair these what I am assuming unique items.
They can be bought with Poe souls after you find them naturally
Without spoiling to much in case you care, you can purchase Hylian Shields after some quest in Hateno village.
Could you give me a rough indication where I should be looking to find the Hylian shield? In BotW I stumbled across it naturally but in TotK I finished the game without ever seeing it.
Hyrule Castle again
Huh, should have guessed I suppose.
Yes but not really. Only a part of it.
But if you want a more specific answer...
The Docks where you lit the torch to reveal a shrine in BOTW
thanks
Same place and method as the castle shrine.
For me its the Desert Voe Armor set
Getting the big Goron sword and the goddess sword made me hate the concept of weapon durability even more
Is there a new set for completing all the shrines like BOTWs outfit of the wild? Is it like Cap of the Kingdom/ Tunic of the Kingdom?
Used the Guardian set the whole game. Took a really long time to notice people were afraid of me.
Who should I upgrade with sages will first?
I'm unclear on what it even does.
Only riju
How do you get sage's will?
Find them on various sky islands.
Found one in a random sky islet chest. Another from a construct's shoulder chest. They're all over. 20, I'd imagine.
I really like the gloom set.
I got the master sword. Tbh I thought I failed the check and was disappointed. It's a cool sequence.
It always looks cool. Seems really useful in this game.
Will go for the soldier top and bottom with a grey/white lowered hylian hood
I don't like the soldier bottom, too much flashy pieces of metal coming out of it.
Evil Spirit set was pretty fun to get, and it's also fun to spook the NPCs.
I agree the TP Tunic is muted but I still think its the second best after OoT.
Personally, I like:
>Wild Cap
>Skyward Tunic
>Hylian Pants
Looks similar to the complete Skyward set, but the cap is longer and has the BoTW haircut, and the pants are much thinner/less baggy. IMO it's the best green tunic outfit you can put together, matches the aesthetic of the game better than any other complete set. I'll post a picture later.
It looks fine, I just think thr two greens don't mqtch
Not gonna play until Linkle mod comes out properly
Can someone give me a hint as to where the Yiga pants are? According to the map, I thought it’d be to the left of Korok Forest, but there was nothing there.
>According to the map, I thought it’d be to the left of Korok Forest,
They are.
Yiga mark their areas with frog statues
It's in a cave, spoilered just in case but a diary in the Depths tells you this so it should be fine
It's near "Aldor Foothills" on the map. Keep an eye out for Yiga signs.
So you looked up a guide and got the gear and ruined the fun, neat.
what is that stance? looks like he has a log up his ass
>Wild Cap
>Ember Torso and Pants
All dyed pale yellow
>Glider set, no headpiece
Dyed light blue
why is there no armor durability?
the devs are a bit dumb, but they're not stupid
it would be even less convenient than weapons breaking
Armor is the only exciting reward for exploration in this game purely because it’s permanent, even if half the time you’ll never wear it. If anything it’s a testament to how much durability saps the fun out of things.
Half of the time the only reason why I'm not excited with weapons as rewards is because everything I'm already carrying is stronger, if they were permanent this would be even worse, I get way more excited when I see a new enemy variant
why did the devs decide to ruin such an iconic sword?, fusing something to the master sword makes it that each time you swing, the sword changes form to the shit you fused it with, it sucks. Any mods that gets rid of that shit?
thats why I slapped a infinite durability mod.
I don't mind weapon durability but I want a mod that brings back the unique weapons from BotW and lets you restore the decayed weapons to their pristine form. The elemental blades looked so cool.
you can find pristine weapons on the ghost soldiers in the underground map
>why did the devs decide to ruin such an iconic sword?, fusing something to the master sword makes it that
Why did you decide to ruin such an iconic sword by fusing something to it
increase the damage, base damage (I think its 30, 60 when it glows) its too low for a legendary sword. And the runes look kind of cool.
Save that for when Zelda is playable
I like to put on box art clothes or "canon" ones in my games for established characters. Feels wrong to play with hero of time armor pieces imo. As for the legs, I like these ones because I'm exploring sky islands
This is non canon delete it
it is canon except for the legs
Exactly delete it now
Put his hair down, he likes it down.
how do you know?
He feels more confident
This is all I wanted.
It only had to be a dye color but they one they have is too light.
Link is asleep
fuck i love those caps who even made them back in the day? Is it just a fantasy only thing? The closest I've found was just sleeping caps.
Peter pan and 7 dwarves
his hat is much shorter and goes up though
Still a cap. It's like a germania sort of fairy tale thing. Gnomes too
tell me about the gnomes. were the minish based off them?
>The Earth is filled almost to the center with Gnomes or Pharyes, a people of small stature, the guardians of treasures, of mines, and of precious stones. They are ingenious, friends of men, and easie (sic) to be commandded (sic). They furnish the children of the Sages with as much money, as they have need of; and never ask any other reward of their services, than the glory of being commanded
Its very likely
Yes but only the fairy tale version of gnomes, not the irl ones.
>not the irl ones.
what the fuck are you talking about
I use wind waker outfit with fierce diety boots to make it uniqueish, look good, and have +atk
So why did they make it so the fused master sword has weird gay green writing on it when it's fused rather than just making the triforce on the sword glow?
Because the Zonai are self-proclaimed gods, not actual gods.
Rauru just got a little too into his larping and accidentally bred with divinity.
>Mastersword can still break
I get it, she is super fucking old, tired, and would break the game if she wasnt, but there should be a quest where you can make her stronger and unbreakable. Make it after you get all the sages so it means something
>Super Old
>just spent the past 10000 years being powered up
>Comes back weaker than post-trial of the sword Master Sword
Zelda can die for all I care.
She has to be older than 10k. She needs a rework, hylia needs to come down and reforge the sword.
She did, she turned into a dragon and reforged it into a piece of shit.
turns out the sword has a hard cap and Zelda was floating for 10k years for nothing
>Zelda keeps integer overloading the Master Sword.
Stupid bitch.
She just spent 10,000 years plus absorbing the light of the goddesses and breaks after a few hits. It's a complete lore breaker
Ganondorf shatters the blade instantly before it's fortified in light. He can't break it at all after that.
DLC again probably
I wish fuse worked differently for the master sword
>never changes its appearance (though I like the runes, I'm a DK main in WoW)
>doesn't change its damage as drastically
>adopts the element of what's fused to it (temporarily, like a food buff)
>can keep fusing things to keep its energy up (as in it's a fuel tank that you can feed with Fuse)
>questline to improve the master sword permanently like in alttp and albw which change the color of its glow
>I'm a DK main in WoW
Stopped reading right there
Suffer well.
>DK main
have a nice day gay
They will literally never get me to stop playing Frost.
I have, however, stopped playing WoW.
>frost
i guess you're alright then
Sword upgrade will probably be in the DLC
>Link, I know you can finally defeat Calamity Ganon! Not that you've already done it and just came back for the DLC or anything!
This was the most annoying shit.
>Durability
Don't care
I've duped like 10 Scimitar of the Seven and have my house as mostly weapon racks
I wonder how they're going to ruin Zelda's life again on the next one
Link gets captured/lost instead and you play as Zelda.
It will be Princess Hilda getting her life ruined next time, next game will feature Lorule, which will be the same map as the Hyrule map with some colors inverted and maybe a few different retextured NPCs walking around. (same enemies though of course.)
We had a good run, bro, it's the gay age for vidya; maybe it will wear off in 10 years like its beginning to do in normie-land these days.
>It will just be this Link and Zelda going someplace else to do random shit unrelated to Hyrule
kek this was supposed to happen in TOTK
lets see fugtrups link
Sexo
Anon, you're either fucking a man or an animal.
Which will it be?
Why doesn't Japan just drop kanji if they need subtitles for their own fucking language?
they don't 'need' it, the furigana is for kids
Furiagana is used in games for children, to make it easier to read. Kinda like how Harry Potter got re-written to be simpler for the American release.
is THAT what that is? i know nothing about japanese i always thought the occasional extra writing above some words was a weird quirk. what is it's purpose?
8k Chinese symbols are a lot to memorize, so they got those little subtitles so you know how to pronounce the characters.
It's for kids who might not be familiar with kanji, or if you're using obscure ass kanji, or sometimes for stupid double meaning puns
>ganondorf got the master sword shoved into his head
>zelda got the master sword shoved into her head
so when are we gonna see link getting the master sword shoved into his head?
3rd game should be Link and Zelda going deep into discovering old lore like the Triforce
Considering the Triforce insignia is on basically fucking everything, I can only assume they should all know what the fuck it means.
Could you imagine if the royal family of a country used cave symbols in their coat of arms and had no idea what the fuck they represented?
Shit makes no sense.
People use and get mad at symbols they dont know the meaning of all the time.
Yeah but they don't build those symbols into every aspect of their society.
Except the nazis, I guess.
>The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Season 3
Sure to appeal to the Fortnite zoomers.
No chance they do this. 0. It will be a whole new clean slate type thing again.
I'm surprised a lot of people really hated the hood
I'm neutral on it, but when I got the lowered version and found out it came with the hair band rather than Link having his hair flowing free like default it became an instant GOAT for me.
I never understood why the royal set is so popular. Makes Link look like a pompous twat.
With the hat, it does. The rest of the set looks fine.
the beret looks great.
Is the Hylian shield in Hyrule Castle again?
In the docks this time and lighting a torch
Going to its old BotW spot has 5 gloom spawns just for a paraglider fabric
I like the runes on the Master Sword, but I don't know how I feel about it having that subtle color difference between the original blade and where it was regrown.
I actually hate how unnoticeable it is, when I first got it I thought it would have a cool crystal blade, but then it just peeled out and you can barely notice the reformed part
I wish the scars were MORE noticeable, at least for TotK. It's not like it is in
at all.
My main complaint is how the sword shapeshifts with fuse, I hate it.
What is the sluttiest outfit combination you can wear in the game?
>No head piece
>lobster shirt
>Thunder Dragon Pants
>walking on the beach in optimum beachcore
Zonai is a far better aesthetic than the ancient stuff from BOTW.
peter pan looking goofy ass.
thank god we got the redesign of link with botw.
Good just want Zelda to smother me in her boobs and ass and then let me kiss her cute forehead while she sobs quietly(in happiness) post coitus.
I'm a fan of the depths armor
Correct. Been using it the whole game after rushing to get it. I'll only switch it out sometimes once I have the full Fierce Deity set. Also, remove the tunic and carry a two-handed axe. Executioner.
how has no one dyed it white yet?
You can't dye the main hood, you only dye the underarmor bits.
Took forever to find those bargainer fucks. In hindsight their placement is pretty obvious
You can just pay the little one in Lookout Landing for the locations of the others
The Chad Official Challenge Mode set
Once I get the tunic I will. Just rerolling my TP amiibo every day, I haven't done much spelunking yet
If it works like BotW, you can just save, do the amiibo, and then reload & try again if you didn't get the tunic.
Oh shit, I forgot about that completely, thanks anon.
Not bad, but I prefer the Tunic of the Wild dyed Red, Green and Blue for ALttP nostalgia.
I miss the Thunder Blade to go with this. Gerudo and Royal shields look close enough to the SNES mirror shield.
use cece's hat for the pink hair
Nah I prefer matching the artwork
>"Red mail"
>Has no chainmail
>Or pants
Twilight Princess wins.
Reminds me of Prince Adam from He-Man.
is there a mod to hide your bow yet? hate how it's always visible and clipping through everything
>new armor set
>still no armor that gives you a permanent run speed up
why does nintendo hate fun?
void creature
New sequel to Spirit tracks when?
OOT armor for me.
Where is it found?
Depths.
That's what I feared, thanks
the depths tunic goes really good with a lot of sets
you should dye the bandages crimson to match the yiga legs
still didn't reach hateno 🙁
Does the game run start to finish on emulators yet?
I have some days off next week might give it an honest try, i wasn't crazy about BoTW but enjoyed it well enough.
I got rid of my amiibos after BotW
you can find all the amiibo armor in the game
For me it’s the BOTW set w/ unbreakable glowing master sword + silver lynel horn
I haven't upgraded a single piece and I'm at Ganon, wish me luck.
That's fine.
Ganon does pathetically little damage if you upgrade at all. It's kinda funny how Nintendo makes the game piss easy if you play all of it.
I haven't upgraded any armor. I remember upgrading everything in BOTW made things way too easy and boring.
TOTK is fun so far, and Ganon was fun as well.
Holy shit, you can have up to forty hearts in this one? Wild.
I'm using the desert voe armor but since ice lizafos so rarely drop their tails I'm probably not going to upgrade it all the way, seeing as I need a grand total of 45 of those fucking things
time for crime, whip out that paraglider and start y+b-ing some tails while you still can
Eh, upgrading all the way trivializes the game tbh. 2 upgrades is the way to go
Ember set
Where do you get the dragon armors? I haven't found a single piece so I doubt it's spread out
They're contained to a region. If you want I can give you the sheet with them in but you might consider that a spoiler?
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1qdkLq2Q1dr2wloqtVD3wb_F5jLzpWTACpB-0HKrX3T8/htmlview#
In their namesake regions from what I can tell, Farosh's is part of the main story
What monster horn is that? I’m assuming a Lynel variant
For me, it's frostbite shirt and nothing else
Haven't played the game yet I wanna make clips but don't know how so I won't play until I have figured that one out.
anons, was the initial design of link suppose to be referencing robin hood or peter pan? seems more like some sort of combination with navi obviously being tinker bell?
Peter pan is probably closer since those forest kids never aged
Why are his proportions so fucking weird
>There's a set that keeps Link barefoot
holy fucking shit brehs. this is why i never go into games blind when it comes to fashion
>ankle bracelet
what a fucking slut
>Just looked it up
>You have to beat the entire main quest to get it
I'm killing myself NOW
You can still find it with the rubber set on
ooh how?
This is by no means a hard game, theres no reason to not use whatever you want
Is the hylian tunic still in the game? I'll just make it green and use that when i get my hands on it
>Is the hylian tunic still in the game?
yes
You can also get wild cap at the start
I just ran fierce deity armor, 50% damage boost, looks based, be retarded not to run it
Can you upgrade the Amiibo costumes this time around?
you could always do that, it just costs a lot/uses rare monster parts
It was the DLC costumes that couldn't be upgraded, and they still can't.
Only the royal guard outfit can
What the fuck goddamn it I wanna upgrade my phantom ganon armor
>Not MsgNotFound
Sorry, you weren't carrying the real Master Sword.
I really need to get in to texture modding
i miss every other zelder tunic
running in hylian gear
I have seven questions. Please respond:
Because this isn't a shit game
>2. Where are the rare horses in this game? I deleted by BOTW save so I have ZERO horses now.
Fuck i should know this one, the horse god told me about it in a dream, I think it said something like there are good horses at Forest of something
>3. When am I suppose to explore the caves? After the divine beasts?
Caves? whenever you see one. The Abyss? whenever you feel like it
>4. Why is everything so expensive? I can't afford anything and shite.
Sell gems, rubies, sapphires and Topaz are all pretty common and sell for 80-150 rupees
>5. Where do I find the secret joystick for constructs?
No idea what you're even asking here
>6. Is there a treasure radar in the game?
After you beat your first temple you can get Robbie to give you a shrine radar that can also track enemies and loot
>7. Where do I find cool outfits?
Talk to the people dressed like retards, they usually give you hints about armor locations.
coincidentally all these questions can be answered by playing the game.
don't waste your time there waste it playing the game you fearful dingus.
Just play the game anon. You find good hisses out of quests too as well, as in the world. The rest is answered by playing and doing what you like
Do quests to reduce the prices. The NPCs tell you this.
Also you don't have the Archaic tunic I bet
>1. Why does whistling doesn't make your horse teleport behind you?
because thats retarded and defeats the whole point of stables
you could only do this in botw if you had the ancient horse armor, which isn't in totk
>2. Where are the rare horses in this game? I deleted by BOTW save so I have ZERO horses now.
lol retard
but there's a golden horse in the northwest region, zeldas golden horse
>3. When am I suppose to explore the caves After the divine beasts?
no, you can do it whenever you like
but clearing the temples makes it a bit easier with special abilites
just make sure you have anti gloom food
>4. Why is everything so expensive? I can't afford anything and shite.
talk to the npcs and do quests
also you have to sell excess gems and other valuable materials eventually
>5. Where do I find the secret joystick for constructs?
I'm going to assume you're talking about auto build or the control sticks
auto build you get from discovering the great abandoned mine, control sticks can be found almost anywhere
>6. Is there a treasure radar in the game?
yes, talk to robbie
I played a real Zelda game instead.
What's the closest armor set in this game that makes me look like an Eldar
Are those the potato people from Dr. who?
The one for beating all shrines
>I ran the whole game wearing only this bad boy and nothing else. Peak tunic design. What about you?
im still looking for the old maps to find these outfits in the depths then i come to find out half of them have some fuckery bosses attached to it and i decided to have only 3 hearts and max stamina im enjoying it but holy fuck i didnt think it would be this hard thanks for the elden ring botw nintendo my dick is hard
Why would I use anything besides barbarian or fierce deity? Its just too good.
I did use miners before getting barbarian though
barbarian is ugly
Where'd you get the complete Tunic?
I've worn Majora's Mask for like 50 of the 60 hours I've played the game
Not having to deal with those bullet sponge bros is sweet, I have a gorillion batteries now and I can afford to wreck shit with my beam tank now
Where do you find the mask?
sky island, old map, depths like everything else
There's a coliseum with like 5 Lynels somewhere underground, stumbled into it in early game. Don't recall of the top of my head where it is exactly but it might be somewhere southwest.
North-north-west of the central mine.
-1180 -1247 -0499, actually just posted the coords in another thread lmao
Bring a hammer or a lot of bomb arrows, the last Lynel has rock armor.
Saved game at wind temple earlier, I come back and my game won't load when I select save from main menu, gives me the map screen and then just freezes
Good
Never mind boys, eventually loaded after I tried an earlier save
Shit
Blue Link > Green Link.
what was the point of changing links color from green to blue?
Both colors are equally kiddy. You dn't really get "lost" just because of the grass and wearing the green tunics
Official line is as you said
Reality it was just because they wanted to do something different. He was drafted in green and blue too, just alternating.
The removal of the cap however is because one designer said it looks silly.
i cant find any sets in the game other than the shit miskoput in caves
Can't be peak tunic design, Link's bracer is on the wrong hand because THEY FORGOT HE'S LEFT HANDED FOR THIS ONE
On the other hand it's not Skyward Sword Link having no bracers for no real reason so he's a discount TP Link
Link is now right handed.
Cope
I'll take that seriously when Nintendo starts consistently depicting Link as right handed, he's still left handed in Link's Awakening and in crossover appearances like Mario Kart 8. Super Smash Bros. is so far the only crossover or "external" material that shows him a rightie and that's because it's using BOTW's Link.
Then why get upset over it?
Because my autism was riled by the costume inaccuracies made to accommodate Link somewhat arbitrarily being right-handed in this game. In Skyward Sword it's most people are right handed and it's for motion controls, in Twilight Princess for Wii it's because they were retarded and flipped the whole game world to make Link right-handed for motion controls with way less impact than SS's
Link is right handed in BotW because that's the correct way.
Ur mum on me cok is the correct way
This Link is right handed. There is no inaccuracy.
Twilight Princess's Link is left-handed, anon.
This Link as in the current one. Zero inaccuracy.
Wii version released first. TP Link is a rightie, thank christ.
Time to post about how special he was because he was left handed and how you want to have a nice day because two Links have not been.
They started making him right handed in the motion control games too
I like the fan theory this Tunic is a long altered SS one
how i cant beat gleeok
Is there a signle helmet in the game that doesn't hide link's hair or tie it? I want the greek god long hair look
Closest you get is the Satori set's helmet lengthening Link's hair to Rauru and Sonia's floor-reaching hair
The three dragon hairs.
Remember to make your koroks load-bearing
Where did you get the Hylian Shield? I want that
nta but hyrule castle docks
light the bonfire at the top and a chest should appear
Hyrule Castle docks, ground-level outside the castle. Light a brazier up on a ledge, it unlocked a shrine in the previous game. Mind the Phantom Ganon hands
Castle Docks, light the pyre. but you'll catch these hands
>Finally found the last piece of the phantom armor
>all the NPCs cower when you walk near them in it
Worth it
With how bad this looks it only reinforces that TotK is at best a spinoff but more killed the series and is wearing Link like Vincent D’onofrio in the first MIB.
I beat the game with a stick and an apple.
Can you eventually upgrade the amiibo outfits? I can’t upgrade the OoT tunic for some reason.
Do I need to do the 4 temples before they let me access the last ruin in Kakariko?
Yes. It takes the characters that long to realize that the Zelda running around is fake, because Link doesn't want to talk.
more like because link is a retard who couldn't figure it out even after seeing ganon use the fake zelda trick
that shit was so obvious after the first blood moon
Darn, I thought seeing all the glyphs would do it with Impa saying she was going back home.
What's the easiest claasic cap to get?
They're all in the depths. FD is in caves I think.
If you can fly the Wild one is easy
>Dark tunic
>Knight Legs
>Lucha Mask
Currently looking for the rest of the set for this head piece.
just use sensor plus on treasure chest around that area
Have you dyed it yet?
Bro dye your hair ganon orange
Can't remember which gives what but one was in the cave near the Eldin stable and one in a cave half way between Goron City and Yunobo HQ
gloom set is pretty sick but same mostly twilight set for me
Hylian Hood with the hood down, dyed blue. Twilight Tunic. Hylian Pants. Simple as.
Navy blue right?
>put on Yigger set while in gerudo town
>instant carceration
the more time I spend in this sand shithole the harder my dick gets thank you nintendo
I've scaled pretty fast and so far the only enemy that I can't seem to meet are construct captain III, but I'm pretty sure there should be fixed spawn of every enemy somewhere.
>but does that mean once per type of boss or every boss spawn point?
One for every boss spawn point
is the glider set worth getting? does it affect paragliding or just the R dive? does R diving with the set get you further than paragliding without it?
From what I've noticed the glider set affects the non-accelerated dive, and you do dive further with pieces on than without.
The full set has more lateral speed than the paraglider, with the obvious drawback being that you'll have less time to make use of the speed. It's more useful the less stamina you have I guess.
