I want the next Sonic game to emphasize how fast Sonic is. I'm tired of not having enough evidence to prove that he is the fastest fictional character of all time.

You mean like Unleashed did and literally told you how fast he was going?
You know, the game you people act like you hate but never played?
You mean something like that you contrarian nagger?
Unleashed sucks lmao
No, you sucked at Unleashed, there's a difference. Also there's two different games of Unleashed and played differently than each other so yet again you're proving most of you homosexuals don't even try the things you claim you hated.
You're just wanting to fit in when in reality you're a broke nagger who has no real opinion and regurgitates what you've heard.
(you)
>Can't handle someone actually ruining the circle jerk echo chamber known as Ganker
Cope zoomer
>not having enough evidence to prove that he is the fastest fictional character of all time
Because he's not
There is nothing the Flash has done that Sonic has nor or could not do.
Saving half million people from a nuclear blast by carrying them far away enough, starting after the bomb already blown up? Beating Eggman in a race?
>Saving half million people from a nuclear blast by carrying them far away enough
Sonic had a master emerald strapped to his back and diverted a dooms day ray away from saving the entire planet.
Next?
Sorry forgot issue
Not sure what it means
Sonic had a giant magical gem strapped to his back so that Robotnik's (aka Eggman's) dooms day beam from space would lock onto the magic gem instead of it's target, so Sonic made sure the beam redirected away from the target and ran around the world, while changing forms to the point he was able to take the hit of the beam onto himself and that is how Archie comics explained how Sonic got his green eyes.
If you look at the issue cover I posted, one has his black eyes and the other image has green eyes.
So Sonic literally saved the entire planet by running.
Thanks, I get it. Can you determine how fast he had to run to achieve that?
I would have to know a lot of variables like the size of their planet for starters.
However, the beam he was redirecting was a beam and if we're applying OUR physics he was out running the speed of light. Mind you, this was happening in HIS world which may or may not have different or altered properties.
So it's kind of hard to really say.
Well, the Flash is said to have reached 13 trillion times the speed of light. You could do the computation with the variables and then evaluate which values the variables need to surpass this speed. If the values are believable then you have your proof.
>the Flash is said to have reached 13 trillion times the speed of light
Holy shit. It's over Sonicbros.
Ok, I'll bite
Who said he can move 13 trillion times the speed of light?
It's from computing the speed he required to save half million people by carrying them far enough from the blast in the explosion time frame (0.00001 microseconds)
You do realize anyone he'd grab moving that fast would completely instantly kill them right? Him moving that fast would cause not only damage to the person he's holding but anyone near him including land, buildings, people would be obliterated just being anywhere near him going at those speeds.
I'm not a capeshit writer, complaints should be directed to them. That's what he did and it was a success.
Again if the writer or any writer explained it, it's shit writing.
I perfectly agree with you, it's shit. Still, Flash canonically did a very impressive task. If you want to prove that Sonic is faster you have to compare with that.
Speed force protects them.
He's part of the speed force, a dimension of speed that's on it's own level compared to the moral realm's speed of light. In other words he defies own reality, Sonic and everything in the games are not, they are bound to his reality, even the Special Stage Zones.
It was funny when Game Theory proved that Mario is faster than Sonic in their respective first games. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a chainsaw.
>The game theory proved...
Ok so let me get this straight, you believed his "theory" because you're bad at math or you're too stupid to even realize not everything a youtube channel says is true?
You do realize people who are actually good at math debunked him right?
I watched the video and didn't care enough to see if anyone debunked it. I just thought it was funny.
Ok so you admit you're dumb and unable to check the math for yourself.
I'm watching a debunking video right now. I actually am interested in educating myself now that you told me it was debunked, I just didn't care enough at the time to double check.
Sonic definitely has a lot more stopping dead still. I don't know if that's even up for debate. Sonic games are games where you have bursts of speed, in between slow delicate platforming, while Mario has more of a continuous sense of flow.
That's not even necessarily a bad thing. That just is what the game is. The fact that you earn the speed is part of why it's satisfying to begin with.
Sonic isn't supposed to just be fast. He's supposed to be realistically weighty, the way a pinball is. That's what actually made the original games satisfying, but that's not as cool of a selling point to put on a box.
Something I don't get is when I see some 3D engine concept showing Sonic vaulting off a ramp and he's just flying a huge distance and people in the comments are salivating over how "this is what momentum gameplay means!"
Okay, yeah, that's momentum-based but that doesn't feel like Sonic. You shouldn't get flung wildly around like that, just enough to get up to a ledge or into a secret spot. Having Sonic flying for miles just because he came off the ramp at top speed isn't how a Sonic game should behave.
In the original games, if you build up enough speed and launch off a ramp, you can do that too.
Part of designing a Sonic level correctly is you have a bit more going on than just a big slope leading to a big ramp, and a lot of open air, but that is more or less how that should behave.
The challenge is once you have those physics implemented, figuring out how to design a level around them (you use walls).
I'm confused by what you're discribing, you mean like in Adventure 2 where if you jumped off the ramp at the last second you get fuck you boost of automated speed or do you mean how your momentum carries from the ground to the air naturally?
The issue if you mean the latter is most of the time they make him too floaty like in SA1/2 in the first place, instead of how he was in the classic games. He is suppose to fly into the air from a ramp as that's how reality works, and it was balanced in the very first level of Sonic's history, showcasing that.
According to official sources, Sonic can run faster than the speed of light. The question is can he run faster than the Flash?
There is nothing Flash has done that Sonic has not or could not do.
>I'm tired of not having enough evidence to prove that he is the fastest fictional character of all time.
He will never be as fast as the big rigs truck.
>truck goes faster than light
>game can only be played on a screen that uses light to create graphics
bad game design, how can you see the truck?
They used a position prediction system timed in a way so it reached your eyes the moment the truck passed that point
Quite groundbreaking at the time
>I want the next Sonic game to emphasize how fast Sonic is
It's called boostshit. We had that for 10 years now.
So OP, do you still think that Sonic is the fastest fictional character of all times? Because nobody else does
>So OP, do you still think that Sonic is the fastest fictional character of all times?
Yes, next game will prove so.
