When I picked fuecoco I was conviced this time I would've picked the most popular of the three starters, I always tend to pick mons that are just not popular even though I like them. Cinderace is still fairly popular universally (it's Raid announcement made waves rom what I saw) and Inteleon's still pushing merch in Japan to the point where it got it's own themed line of merch AFTER Gen 9's launch. The only one with no impact is Rillaboom

Rillaboom’s inclusion in the anime was last minute Leonwank. It’s really not like Cinderace or Inteleon who had entire arcs and growth as a part of Goh’s main lineup.
