or any California. California is the Western America's Florida. I'd kill myself before living in either state. At least Floridians admit to their state being shitty. Props for owning it.

That is true, no one here admits CA is a shithole. It's pathetic.

the problem is that California's image is defined by two shitty cities.

Urban California is like New York City or Florida or Colorado, people romanticize them without ever visiting them because of tourism ads and pop culture and then flood them which creates weird economics and culture clashes. I may not like NYC but it at least has shit enough weather and hostile enough locals to keep the influx of idealists mostly in line.

In the tint of the near utopian world of pokemon leftist hellholes would make for good regions

New England as a whole would be more likely. Maine on its own isn't important enough, we aren't getting another Orre. Not that including the others would change the design of this hypothetical region all that much.

      absolute dogshit ideas

I hate California as much, if not more than any person, but Northern California is anything but disgusting.

Geography wise California would be extremely simple to translate into a region, it already has pretty much every stock videogame biome besides jungles

What's that place like? Sometimes I forget how huge the US is

The middle of fucking nowhere if you're anywhere not named Augusta, Bangor, Portland, or Orono.

    USA

    >California
    >Alaska
    Pick only one and why

      California.
Florida's fairly tropical, and would clash a bit with Alola. Plus, no mountains
Likewise, Alaska would clash with Sinnoh for being a cold reason.
However, shockingly, we haven't really had a hot and arid region if you completely ignore Orre. Also, metal based Pokemon would be interesting. Imagine having a pyrite/gold Pokemon duo.

Never. If we go to the US again it will be

    >Florida

would Pokemon do it, if Yo-Kai Watch already did?

Every single state deserves a region

no. Driving through the midwest is like being in a creepypasta about a highway that never ends. Just corn. Always corn. Forever corn. And then you reach the rockies.

        Texas would be good
        >wide open spaces for nice open areas
        >easy western motif
        >varitey of environments and themes
        >native american and mexican stuff
        >Clint Eastwood Champ
Knowing GF though they'd just make it one big austin or dallas

You and I have different ideas of Texas. My memory of the state is having to drive 40 minutes to get to the nearest grocery store, grass perpetually brown and highways. I swear the state, despite all of the land, is like 80% highways.
Also, driving nine hours to get from Texas to my vacation spot in Texas.
But yeah. A game themed broadly on 'The Southwest' would work. Add Colorado for mountainous parts of the game, and you have a region.

I'm talking about a video game inspired by texas. I think the vast untamed wilderness aspect would make for a good pokemon game.

I don't know what a lockstin is. I'd guess youtuber, but it could be a romhacker or twitch streamer for all I know. The only pokemon youtuber I know is jwittz, and I haven't seen any content of his since 2015. Jwitts and dookie something.

As a Maine native, I just want to remind you all to ensure you spend all of your tourist money, then fuck off until next year. No pokemon region required. It would be interesting however. I feel we would make a better Canada region DLC that connects it to Unova.

A New England region where Kennebunk is the post game area could be fun. You start in New Haven and travel across the region.
