Old games don't need "rereleases", we have emulators.

Probably a really nice box set for a studio like CAVE, Toaplan, Compile, or Raizing. I know the CAVE Shooting Collection exists, but it's only the back half of their output. Soundtracks, an art book, developer interviews, the whole nine yards. I'd be willing to cough up $400-$600 or so for something like that, depending on the studio chosen and how nice everything is.

have a nice day, immaterialist troony.

    Mortal Kombat Kollection
Volume one would be 1, 2, 3, U3, and Trilogy. Also the handheld versions. It would have the MK strategy guide that shows the moves and has art from the old MK comic from the 90s.

Volume 2 would be 4, Gold, Mythologies, Special Forces, Deadly Alliance, Deception, Shaolin Monks, Amargeddon, and MK vs DC.

I would like a Shaolin Monks re-release, specially to play it on the go, but I feel that one would be easy to frick up, as it's with a lot of games of that gen.

I think remaking all of Panzer Dragoon series, and including it as one package would be crazy good.

Vagrant Story has gameplay issues, where all you do is go into the menu to swap weapons. That could use work too, we had a thread about it a while back.

Not sure what else... although realistically any game that has a weird engine would benefit from a port to Unity or something. Then you can mod the frick out of it

A proper SC collection that includes a united multiplayer browser across every versus and coop game mode and includes DA V2 for PC with actual controller support first and foremost, and then tweaks and bonus gadgets/modes piled on top. Also include the coop from the handheld SC games because why not.

yep, with online and some extra options for adjust money would be nice. Or buff up the board that drains money.

I would like a nicely packaged rerelease of all the Atari 2600, NES, SNES and N64 games I owned as a child. Either for Switch or Xbox since those are the systems I own today.

This would also come with physical versions of all the EGM and Gamepro magazines I had as well as the Players Guides for the games I had them for.

Fatal Frame 1-3 (original versions of 1 and 2 on disc/cart, Xbox versions optional downloads)
Drakengard 1-3 (3 is not retro but I don't give a shit it should be included too)
Zelda classics that includes 1, 2, ALttP, LA and OoT
I have the consoles to play all of the above and even if I didn't I'd emulate but I still think it'd be cool if they released these collections with artbooks, nice cover art and all that shit

Yes! This however I'd buy and play

The joke answer is something I hate, because I despise these collections.
But to give an actually productive answer, a version of ToHeart2 that combined every single piece of content ever made for the series (All the VNs, H-scenes, Mio, Doki Doki Panic Library, Super Sweets Scramble, Mananatsu, Final Dragon Chronicle Guilty Requiem, Princess Collection, all the light novels, probably even more stuff that I'm forgetting) would be pretty sweet. I'd buy that.

As far as these collections go, this is one of the best ones. It’s mostly compete, only missing stuff like PC ports, has online play, some nice extra options and a pretty massive archive loaded with ads, design documents and for some reason, screen caps from every episode of the various TV series and tons of comic covers.

Resident Evil compilation with all the different versions of 1-3 (Code Veronica and 4 would also be cool)

    Timesplitters Trilogy

Super Bomberman collection, including the ones that didn’t get a US release
