Ancient China had an entire class of eunuchs that hung out with the royal family and enjoy massive wealth and influence. Men cutting their dicks off for easy money and power isn't even new.
and is an example of how these retards are explicitly evil. said dick cutters robbed the treasury blind multiple times and caused the downfall of multiple dynasties.
Whether it is or not from an objective outside view is irrelevant to the troon who thinks the grass is greener and doesn't actually want to address the problems in their life. It's easier to just claim being in the wrong body, pop some pills, and get some surgery. People don't base what they think is a short cut on any form of reality or rational thinking, only on whether or not it appears easier than actually putting in necessary work.
>Get explicitly told several times that you need to train to improve your swordsmanship >A character is very clear about being available to train you >Doing one round of training with him is even a main mission so that you cannot miss this >A large section of Ganker misses this and quits the game due to 'bad combat'
I swear that 75% of you fuckers are brain-dead zoomers. Probably ESL to boot. Imagine missing out on the best RPG in ~20 years because you failed to actually engage with the combat system and how skills were handled.
The game was actually associated with a minor controversy at release due to the devs attempting to accurately portray the demographics of 14th century Bohemia. Rather then doing what most devs do and just give the setting the same demographics as New York or London.

i practiced so much with him that his helmet broke. it was back after a while but i think its a nice detail that armor breaking is tracked for npc's too
You can reduce him down to training in just some ruined clothing if you are really persistent with it and train at a high level.
I didn't do any of that though, I learned during release that you could abuse untargeted unlocked attacks and used it to wipe out all the tutorial cumans then use their gear to kill the bandits in skalitz and clear out random camps in forests. I knew how to masterstrike by the time I was doing the first sword and archery lessebs
that's the fun part of the game. i just snuck around at night and pillaged towns and shops. if i found a bandit camp i would just either kill bandits in thier sleep at night or poison thier food pots and come back later for free weapons and armor. this game kinda reminded of those fps fuckaround games that give you numerous ways to solve problems.
also, reading. the game really fucking drops it in your face that being able to read IS a superpower, and yet many "players" who complained about the game never taught henry to read.
>A large section of Ganker misses this and quits the game due to 'bad combat'
The combat's still fucking bad, mate. Practice helps getting over the initial hump, but then it just devolves into eternally blocking NPCs and master strike spam from both sides, because every dirt farmer with a pitchfork can perfect block and riposte all your strikes no problem, and master strikes become the only and most reliable way of getting any damage in.
Fighting against multiple enemies is supposed to be hard, but I don't think it's supposed to be because the camera keeps gluing itself to one guy and fights you at every turn. It's a classic eurojank game. Lots of thought and heart put into it, but pretty clunky overall.

Well swordsmanship is one of those skills that you can become very good at with a sparing partner. It would have been kinda weird if the game had artificially locked the higher levels of the combat skills behind killing people. It also would have been pretty narratively odd if he had just stopped offering training at some arbitrary point, given the tasks that he knows you are expected to perform by the end of the game.
I suppose in an ideal world he would have only been able to train you up to the point where you can fully match his skills. At which point he would have referred you to a master trainer that you had to pay to take lessons from. Maybe there could have even been several master trainers for each skill, each offering a unique combat move/perk if you completed their training. But this would be asking far to much for such a small studio; It is a miracle we even got the game at all given its scope.
>Maybe there could have even been several master trainers for each skill
if i remember correctly there are a number of trainers, I know for a fact there was at least one for mace training where you can cuck the lord.

it really was a great RPG, the game doesn't hold your hand, quest design is open and flexable enough that you can complete any objective multiple ways, and rewards you for experimenting, I loved it might be time for me to do another play through it's been about 3 years.
I once thought that mace combat training with Bernard was a good idea. The end result was me crawling back home beaten to an inch of my life.
This game is too realistic.
They should have let you finish all of the training before setting you off on the string of mandatory errands, or at least tell you that you should really go back and do more training to learn new shit. I find the people who drop the game early are the ones who never got the parry.
>skip training since I want to explore and shit >get my ass kicked nonstop >days later continue the story a bit
Gatekeeping parry in a story sequence was a shit move, combat was a cakewalk after that
well, no DUH, it's almost as if henry is a blacksmith, so he has all the raw talent to be great, he just needs to learn how to fight, which he has never done before.
he's wrong. and they explicitly nerfed archery a tonne so it wasn't hilariously OP, and merely makes horse archer the most op build in the game. they also knowingly chose to break with historical accuracy by not putting in the crossbows and early guns which had proliferated at the time. since historically, this is the time of full plate etc starting to really die off, as Pike and Shot became the order of the day. hell, actual combat of the era was pretty much pike and shot, just with crossbows until sufficient numbers of gonnes proliferated.
bohemia 1403 is only a little before the HUSSITE WARS and jan? using wagons with firing ports as 'land ships' to fight from.
That one move/perk that lets you cause injuries on head pokes was fucking busted.
I could take down heavy armor fucks easily by doing a few headpokes and watching them grab their bleeding head and faint, dudes didn't even have a chance to beg for mercy, I wonder if that shit got nerfed because it was just hilarious.
This game has the best hunger and alcohol mechanics I've ever seen. Having an drunkard perk tree is cool. And all the food items in stores have such cool hand drawn icons and descriptions that you want to taste them
yes, and? those are hungarians. who anarchronistically are still using gear that's generations out of date as they should be using the same crap as everyone else, but the devs wanted to make sure they stayed visually distinct so they committed a minor history faux pas.
Playing for the first time, went full shounen trained a LOT against Berunarudo sensei. This what my Henry looks like now. Now I'm grinding the tournament, having a lot of fun
you can win every fight by just clenching and then stabbing them in the head. theres no point in doing combos because every single enemy will autocounter if you try to land more than 2 hits on them.
thanks for the lessons bernard, i'm goona go cum inside of stephanie a dozen more times now.
tranny game
>The game is about improving yourself instead of taking shortcuts
It's a tranny repellent.
Biggest youtube fan of the game is a trannoid, though.
That's just Google targeting content at you given your porn search history, as I have never seen a troon discussing this game
trannies get filtered by the combat system
you're lying
And? If you had nagger fans does that mean you're nagger?
It's shortcut to early grave lmao
you're delusional if you think that trooning out is a shortcut to anything.
If the troon took hormone blockers at a young age the cut would be rather short.

it's a shortcut to sucide.
>put on a dress and do nothing else
>declare you are woman
>play sport you were world 98756th in
>suddenly you are world number 1 in "womens" div.
oh yea. not a shortcut at all.

You cant masterstrike until bernard teaches you anon... its not unlocked with level...

Combat still sucks my guy. It goes from retarded to retardatly easy in one tutorial
tranny reply
Certainly!
Wouldn't you rather learn the basics first?
i practiced so much with him that his helmet broke. it was back after a while but i think its a nice detail that armor breaking is tracked for npc's too
terrible game made by slavs and praised by them
Seethe harder shitskin
says the slav fuck
They should've made a hard cap on how much you can actually train, doesn't make sense to me how you can just practice and turn into a murder machine
practice makes perfect
experience from real fights > practice

well its a game so at some point bernard or someone else could just say the classic "youre too good, I cant teach you anything else"
>Maybe there could have even been several master trainers for each skill
if i remember correctly there are a number of trainers, I know for a fact there was at least one for mace training where you can cuck the lord.

What about limiting it to a couple matches per day?
That way if you want to grind you can but its so tedious its not worth it.
Not as dumb as becoming a strongman out of picking herbs
I don't think expected anyone to grind to max level through just repeating practice fights instead of going out and getting into fights
I spent an hour or two punching cows to death to level my strength skill to 20.
I once thought that mace combat training with Bernard was a good idea. The end result was me crawling back home beaten to an inch of my life.
This game is too realistic.
Don't worry about the practise mace, it has all sharp edges blunted. It can't possibly hurt you.
They should have let you finish all of the training before setting you off on the string of mandatory errands, or at least tell you that you should really go back and do more training to learn new shit. I find the people who drop the game early are the ones who never got the parry.
It’s a good game
is there a video game Image board without third world apes, Americans and British?
>skip training since I want to explore and shit

well, no DUH, it's almost as if henry is a blacksmith, so he has all the raw talent to be great, he just needs to learn how to fight, which he has never done before.
Yet he can become a master marksman and alchemist with no training
no he cannot.
Almost like the devs put more focus into combat than other systems

yeah, knock out should have been a refined mechanic, and not a perk
This game has the best hunger and alcohol mechanics I've ever seen. Having an drunkard perk tree is cool. And all the food items in stores have such cool hand drawn icons and descriptions that you want to taste them
KCD 2 trailer at TGA right bros?
if I see a single goddamn nagger in it, i'm not even pirating
>if I see a single goddamn nagger
There's already Cumans in the first one though?
Cooman poop skins are lore friendly. Nignogs aren't
yes, and? those are hungarians. who anarchronistically are still using gear that's generations out of date as they should be using the same crap as everyone else, but the devs wanted to make sure they stayed visually distinct so they committed a minor history faux pas.
When's kingdom come 2 bros? I want to take the war to the cuman heathens and kill their mothers the way they killed mine!
>disable Master Strikes
>game is now playable
>3+ enemies are nearly impossible to kill, and running away from any encounter is actually impossible
What I have to go through for medieval slavic adventures.
Playing for the first time, went full shounen trained a LOT against Berunarudo sensei. This what my Henry looks like now. Now I'm grinding the tournament, having a lot of fun
>warhorse set
>not magdeburg set
ngmi
>warhorse set
Nah
the helmet is ugly as fuck tho.
I'm not wearing it anon
ok i give you that
rate my drip
I don't like helmets/hats, makes you look like a random guard. MCs show their faces without any protection
that hat his lit af frfr
where my rhodok bros at?
