I saved a lot of money and time by just following the art and doujins of girls I liked instead of playing the gachas.
Genshin isn’t really a gacha game. It’s BOTW + Diablo. The gacha system is secondary to all that.

Don’t spend more than your monthly gaming budget. I allocate 100/mo to all gaming related shit. I don’t always spend 100 a month obviously, so I roll that over into my gamer fund. Usually goes to pc parts. You can afford anything if you are patient enough.
