Its time to admit that family guy isnt bad at all. Its funny, sometimes even kino, and the only reason to think otherwise is if you're a retard who takes it too seriously.
The show is literally named FAMILY GUY. It was a satire of sitcoms and American family life. The first, I dunno, two seasons seemed about that. They made an effort to be taking sitcom scenarios and making them insane, ridiculous, or lamp-shading them. Somewhere along the line they forgot that and it just became weird random cutaways and trying to make each episode as retarded as possible.
Sneakers O'tool feels like a skit that mocks the viewer for assuming every cut away gag is a reference to some shit Seth McFarlane remembers from the 80s, since Sneakers is an original character.
Nobody ever said early season FG was bad, it's always the later seasons that forget the show is supposed to be funny and has characters having arguments with each other or other manufactured drama.
Season 1-3 are the only good ones. Specifically during the time frame where reruns were consistently aired in early 2000's adult swim.
The series (and television in general) will never know that level of kino again. And If you weren't there, you will never "get it", no matter how hard you try.
Brian was also done pretty dirty. His whole character after Season 3 became him just being the stereotypical Abusive Guy who is not good with women at all past fucking which is such a ridiculous thing to do after Season 3 had an episode where he finds love in the Old Woman he's doing Community Service for in her singing and they go from that to an entire story arc about him taking advantage of a Dumb Woman and, again, keep in mind in that aforementioned episode in the 3rd season there's a moment where it's mentioned his standards are "Too High" so it's completely contradictory to his character on top of being trash.
i dont see it that way. i think what brian has become is kind of that 'everyman mid 30s bachelor' . hes looking for his best woman but he keeps getting all 'seinfeld' like and nit picking about small things, and hes afraid to be upfront because they are kind of petty, and he doesnt want to be seen as petty
Absolutely based take, and it's sad this is such a rare take. Family guy definitely isn't perfect and most of it's low brow crass garbage, but some of the moments can be funny as hell. Even shit from the current seasons can elicit a cheap laugh from me. It's nothing like the Simpsons which has never gotten a laugh out of me past the glory days.
For me it became shit around 2010, but really drop the ball after 2016. Because the first few seasons were written well, but after the last cancellation it slowly died over the decade.
The problem is that they'll take a joke and run it into the ground. Not because the joke was bad, but because it gets overused as a result of having so many seasons and inevitably having to reuse tertiary and quaternary characters like Consuela.
It has like one or two jokes per episode, at minimum, worthy of cracking a smile to. But they're surrounded by painfully unfunny writing that seems to consist entirely of "we know this isn't actually funny, but it's a reference to something we think IS funny".
The worst part is when the thing they're referencing that they think is funny is the show itself and how it usually operates. Sometimes, you'd swear the writers were getting a bonus for every episode they referenced cutaways.
>Always right, can do no wrong, gets away with everything.
They addressed this by making him more of a scumbag, to the point where there's an episode where he tries to fuck one of Meg's friends. They also have Quagmire utterly fucking hate him, at Quagmire's expense as a character since he's not as much of a rapist anymore since he needs to have moral high ground over Brian.
I believe they were ordered to tone down Quagmire being a sexpest and they had no idea what to do with the character. So they made him Brian's rival and a pathetic cat guy for some reason.
I loved Family Guy during the Adult Swim and a few years into the revival eras. I hadn't seen an episode in over a decade until last month, when I watched the Poltergeist spoof for Halloween. It was really funny and it reminded me why I liked the show so much back then. Even so, just how frequent the cutaways were was distracting.
I'm an American Dadder, personally.
Its fine if treated as a stand up comedy where you just stay for the jokes that land. Its not like the simpsons where i just feel bad and angry watching what it became.
I agree. Some of the specials are very well written and have orchestrated musical numbers, "Christmas Time is Killing Us" song from Road to the North Pole stands out in my mind. I believe Seth uses orchestras to compose the musical numbers as a standard
Seasons 1-5 are the golden age.
Season 1 is like a moderately edgier Simpsons, nothing amazing but came out right when The Simpsons was starting to go stale.
Season 2 is refined from that and where the show really differentiated itself as its own thing. The show has actual character writing at this point and isn't the barrage of gags it would become later.
Season 3 is a little edgier and crazier, even more refined as its own thing and probably the best season of the show from an "objective" sense. This is about when they started making Stewie gay which was a funnier direction for his character than the one-note "he wants to kill his mom!" Brian and Stewie's dynamic also develops more at this point.
Season 4 ramps things up the zaniness further and is especially heavy on the cutaway gags and pop culture references. The characters are still mostly themselves, albeit a bit exaggerated. This imo is the best season.
Season 5 is where things go off the rails, the show gets way edgier and the characters are even crazier. This is where the show really starts turning into "modern Family Guy" as a nonstop barrage of crazy random gags, but it's still very very funny.
After this the show is hit or miss, with a worse ratio every season.
Will elaborate more if asked. Yes I am being completely unironic, Family Guy is fucking funny damn it.
The newest couple seasons increase the character comedy and tone down the cutaway gags and edginess compared to the mid-late teen seasons. The issue is that this just makes makes the show boring because they can't write the characters anymore. The decrease in edginess and cutaways takes away from what differentiates the show from others on the market, and just leaves it as a bland imitation of its season 1-3 self. Also Seth sounds really old as Peter now, it's distracting.
Bullshit. The show's heavy usage of cutaway gags allowed it to stretch the conventions of sitcom writing to incorporate more out-there joke premises. Seth MacFarlane's personal taste is all over the show with its big band musical numbers--cartoons featuring singing is anything but new, but the specific style of Family Guy's songs is a unique novelty owing to its creator's personal passion for Sinatra-style crooning. His personal taste is also apparent with the unusual amount of 50s pop culture references, with Quagmire basically being an exaggerated depiction of a 50s playboy. Whether or not you think these things are plusses, the show (at least for the first five or so seasons) very much had unique things about it. Why do you think so many adult cartoons that followed were shitty imitations of it?
Family guy as a whole is at least better than Simpsons as a whole. It's mostly trash but it at least has a couple funny moments every so often. Simpsons past like 2001 is fucking unwatchable and somehow continually gets worse.
What's there to "admit"?
Family Guy has always been funny. Jaded prunes want to pretend they're too high-brow for Family Guy, because granted, the humour can be infantile, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
My issue with family guy lies with Peter Griffin being insufferably stupid. Homer Simpson often makes stupid decisions, but they're more lighthearted AND he makes his best effort to fix the damage with varying degrees of success.
At least on the earlier episodes of Family Guy when the show was less about referential humour and almost solely focused on a story, Peter's stupidity would actually make me dislike the character, and there was rarely a satisfying resolution to his actions, he would just do stupid, destructive decisions and everyone involved was miserable for it.
Yeah it was consistently funny until like season 5 or whatever but now its only sometimes funny. Some jokes really don’t land, some do. Voice acting is good all around and expressive. Art is fine, sometimes they really do some special and interesting. Its a perfectly fine show if you just want to laugh or have something in the background. You have to be a real spastic to cry that its bad because the characters aren’t consistent in a show that never once tries to be or there mean to each other.
Always preferred futurama as my adult cartoon shit tho even if it loves its “.and than the opposite thing happens” joke
It's a very strange thing. I personally don't think Family Guy is funny at all, but when it's used as a reference point for a joke, it's somehow stupidly hilarious. Had a good laugh every time this kinda thing happened.
The sign of a hipster with very little income who hates the "establishment" I bet you only shop at local mom and pop stores and don't buy anything from any big corporation. You buy vinyls and listen to them on your RECORD PLAYER? Kek
I actually think CS is better than what most people give it for, but everything involving that show was a giant mindfuck.
Why make a show about Cleveland in particular? Was he to blacks as Goku is to mexicans and nobody knew? What was David fucking Lynch's motive for voicing the bartender guy? Same with Kanye West, what piqued his interest in doing a parody of himself that showed up for like half a dozen episodes?
>can get paid around $200k for a 20 minute episode >these are the same people who think they're being treated as the most oppressed of minorities
lol
lmao even
man i am so glad it wasn't just me. I remember watching up to that point and it was better than I expected, but kinda getting lamer each episode. then that one was so bad I went afk with it on in the background and even though I wasn't 100% paying attention, it just sounded 'tarded—and was.
Maybe the other episodes are better? I'unno, kinda lost interest.
The first revival was already meh enough I never actually considered watching this one after seeing it was still shoehorning in modern topics into the pre-established future it has going. It's a real dead horse of a series and quite honestly I wish they kept it where it was, for all the shit I will give the revival the finale worked for it.
It's fine, didn't seem any worse than the Comedy Central seasons. However it was a little cheap animation wise, there was a really dumb visual error at the end of the cowboy episode that I couldn't believe they left in.
I couldn't even watch the first revival. I binged the entire thing and when I reached the sitxh season I just dropped it. The iphone episode was so painfully unfunny it was baffling.
There's like 3 episodes in the first revival that could feasibly land in my top 10, you'd never guess The Late Philip J. Fry wasn't from the original run
Granted, that was the name of the IP thief/kidnapping company, but the moral was more about the future of robo waifus. Which is about to get more relevant again.
the first episode was worse than mediocre. it was a drawn out 20 minuet version of those "the executives that fired us are stupid" skits. not unwatchable, but i kept going "yeah, i get it" while watching it. not worth watching
second episode was painful and forgettable. kiff and amy's tadpoles comeback. the idea that the kid's age differently depending on where in the swamp they grew up was cool though. it was a "parenting is hard" episode, not worth watching
third episode was alright. wild west gold rush themed. they use robot heads to mine crypto. there was a cool scene where dwight limbos and the camera rotates in 3d. also dwight's spine got ran over so now he can limbo like hermes. i enjoyed some of it, not enough to keep watching the show however. worth watching but not really
i'm not gonna watch more, but i hope this is a situation where the writers are just getting into the swing of things and that the later seasons will be better written. i know it won't
Of the three episodes I watched of the new season before I gave up, I got one laugh out of it (obviously it's the PC crowd joke) and I loved seeing more owls
It was like the Comedy Central seasons if every episode was the EyePhone episode. Shit, at least the CC seasons had shit like The Late Phillip J Fry, the Hulu season doesn't even have that.
I remember being super hyped when it got revived on CC because it was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I watched like 5 episodes of that and dropped it forever. I have zero expectation that the new revival is any better than that garbage.
It's well liked enough and the creators keep coming back for more. It's a recognizable property and they can afford it, squeeze some blood from it, Comedy Central probably only cancelled it because there's literally one single profitable property from that whole Network.
Watched it, it was wack.
The Christmas episode was good and felt the closest to a traditional Futurama episode.
It really shouldnot have been revived, they completely ruined the evergreen ending they had at the end of the CC run and I don't think anything will ever top it.
I'll still watch it though, it's nopt the worst thing in the world. Each episode will have maybe one or two decent joeks in it. Like how that covid episode had the bayou and the skeleton dude.
You know what really grinds my gears?
The fact that most people don't remember that family guy was the pivotal juncture when the term "normies" started becoming popular and widespread in society, which came specifically from this episode.
It's funny how much family guy tried to be "in" by playing outdated internet memes on the show, instead of focusing on the things it actually achieved by being well written.
Normie is the safe-for-other sites version of Normalfags, and thus an easy way to out normalfags. Normies in Family Guy was more of a coincidence and not the origin of the term
The last game you played gets a cutaway gag, what's the joke? >"Aw man, this is worse than the time I went full faith in Elden Ring!" >"40 Strength to wield a faith weapon!? What the hell Miyazaki!"
Scene opens with Peter upset about some dumb thing of no consequence, and is taking it very hard. Lois tries to console him. >"Well, it could be much worse than that, Petah. Remember when you tried playin' a healer in your Heroes of the Swarm?"
Uther!Peter is surrounded by other heroes. >"S-s-so hey there, uh... guys. Is there a, uh, t-tank around here or, uh..."
Nova opens up her visor to reveal Quagmire. >"Peter?! Wow, you, uh, missed the memo, huh? Everyone just plays ranged assassins. Emphasis on the ASS part!"
NovMire slaps his/her ass. >"Heh! Allll-right! Nah, Peter, everyone just plays the hot girls." >"Well, hell, Quagmire, is there anyone that act as a frontline?" >"Oh, yeah, I mean, there's one over there."
NovMire points to the fine ass and muscled back of a Sonya. Puther smiles and nods in appreciation, and walks up to her.
Puther slaps her ass and giggles. Sonya turns around to reveal she is being played by Meg. >"DAD!?" >"AHHH!"
The computer is shown in the trashcan in the kitchen, with Peter and Lois continuing the conversation. >"It was Heroes of the STORM Lois! And we swore we'd never talk about that again!"
Meg walks in, still as a buff and sexy Sonya, and grabs some food from the fridge.
Peter is trying very hard not to look at her ass, and the scene cuts as he gives up and reaches out to touch it, and Lois slaps his hand. >"Ow!"
>"This is worse than the time I tried PF raiding in Final Fantasy." >Peter is divebombed by Twintania, his character screams a digitized "Ah crap!" and dies. >Zoom out to computer monitor, Peter sighs and opens multiple screenshots of lalafells, pumping a bottle of lotion onto his palm. >"Didn't want to play anyway."
>I don't know chris, don't underestimate the situation like that one time I was part of an experiment that turned me into a mouse and I went on a 'Small Saga'.
>"Peter, watch out for the Yellow God, they're tough" >"Ah that's a bunch of baloney." >smash cuts to him cutting off his own tail in excessively gruesome detail as he tries to escape a mouse trap
>"I'm not doing any more medical trials, not after last time!" >cut to peter in Limsa Lominsa drinking a Fantasia in front of a lalafell and roegadyn >he starts writhing on the ground in pain for an uncomfortable amount of time while the other 2 just watch >eventually a catgirl bursts out of his chest like Alien, screeching but noticing her boobs >starts groping them while laughing with peter's voice
>Wow, Lois, this is more fun than the time I went to Termina! >What?! Only 3 days to stop the moon from crashing? You know what that means! e-e-e-E-E-EVERBODY'S HEARD ABOUT THE BIRD
My god, that's pathetic. I thought I had seen the beginning and end of it with maybe one in between since that was how pirates on Youtube got it up, but no, that's the whole fucking thing?

That's just too retarded. Cleveland Show must have been desperate to get people watching "Black Family Guy." American Dad's attempts at lore seem tasteful by comparison.

It seems today that all you see are John Mcvideogames and Swordguy McJRPG. But where are those good old fashioned Scrimblo Bimblos, upon which we used to rely?
I might be a couple of seasons behind but I saw a couple of episodes I genuinely liked, like the one where Homer and Marge are stranded in the forest just trying to survive. That episode alone had more heart than the previous 10 seasons put together.
Yes I'm well aware that the Funky Uncle of all people loves Peter Griffin and Family Guy.
Fucking bizarre to me considering how you would never expect a nip to love an American sitcom.
For practical purposes, games between indie and AAA are vanishingly rare.
My proof is Ori. It's flat out published and partly funded by Microsoft, so objectively, it's not indie. It's got budget and visuals appropriate for what would formerly have been AA. And yet attempting to categorize it and determine its peers will put it next to indies time and again.
>For practical purposes, games between indie and AAA are vanishingly rare.
Literally everything Nintendo makes is between AAA and Indie. BotW is the closest they came to AAA and it's not even in the ball park.
They replaced him with Sam Elliot, even Family Guy fags were complaining he's boring since his whole character is on Sam Elliot's dick whereas Adam West was willing to be goofy.
Why are there so many American Dad shills? It's even worse than nu-Family guy. Every single episode is the same shit and the characters has been butchered more than family guy.

This week's american dad episode was really good.
I feel like AD's declined a couple seasons into the TBS run, but there are still decent episodes like Nighthawk's Hideaway every once in awhile. It's definitely the best of Seth's three shows.
It's very inconsistent now, but still occasionally produces some gems. Even at it's worst I wouldn't say it's unbearably bad though.

I watch American Dad now exclusively for Francine

Here's every episode of American Dad.
You forgot
>Stan becomes obsessed with THING
>Stan ruins it for everyone
>Stan is always in the wrong, even against Fransine who's a super dumb bimbo
>Stan has wrong, right wing view
>Hayley has the correct, left wing view
>Hayley being "correct" is undermined by her being the worst character in the show
Harely is basically written out of the show since her boyfriend showed up
It became soulless

Pretty much, when Brian became a liberal douche voice piece for one writer, later writers just mocked that era.

Thanks for reminding me of that episode. It was a depressing episode everytime i watched it.
i dont see it that way. i think what brian has become is kind of that 'everyman mid 30s bachelor' . hes looking for his best woman but he keeps getting all 'seinfeld' like and nit picking about small things, and hes afraid to be upfront because they are kind of petty, and he doesnt want to be seen as petty
the early years were good but it has the same issue the simpsons has, in that it refuses to have ended when it should have
Peter gets extremely anoying after a while and ruins everything.
It's only good when you watch the funny moments out of context
It's funny if all you watch are clips on YouTube/tiktok. Actually sitting through a whole episode is miserable
this tbh. The cutaway gags and random bits become much better when there isn't a story to pretend to duct tape them all together.
First 3 seasons were fine, s4-7 was alright.
For me it became shit around 2010, but really drop the ball after 2016. Because the first few seasons were written well, but after the last cancellation it slowly died over the decade.
It was funny until they started unfairly mocking Trump like every other "comedy" show
You fool, this is from a pre cancellation family guy! They're completely different shows.
You fool! You're more useless than Aquaman!
>It alright, it not subtle or nuanced, it tasteless and lukewarm. But it alright.
TWO WORLDS
ONE FAMILY guy
I stopped after Brian "died"
why are her tits out of control?
This. Brian is easily the worst fucking character in family guy. Always right, can do no wrong, gets away with everything.
That's because he's MacFarlane's self-insert.
Did anyone ever find the origin of the that pic?
Ayo is that cupcakenigga?
No that's just some dudes at a car wash they post shit like this regularly
I loved Family Guy during the Adult Swim and a few years into the revival eras. I hadn't seen an episode in over a decade until last month, when I watched the Poltergeist spoof for Halloween. It was really funny and it reminded me why I liked the show so much back then. Even so, just how frequent the cutaways were was distracting.
I'm an American Dadder, personally.
Its fine if treated as a stand up comedy where you just stay for the jokes that land. Its not like the simpsons where i just feel bad and angry watching what it became.
Everything after season 3 definitely is bad, no if, ands, or buts, its just bad
I want to hear more from you, anon.
Even at its earliest there wasnt anything special or fun about it.
Old Family Guy sure, but recent Family guy for about the past 2 years have been utterly shit
Family guy as a whole is at least better than Simpsons as a whole. It's mostly trash but it at least has a couple funny moments every so often. Simpsons past like 2001 is fucking unwatchable and somehow continually gets worse.
For me it's Seasons 1-6. Maybe 7.
American CHAD shits all over Family GAY
The first few seasons and when Peter worked on the fishing boat were the best.
Fuck no only deranged third-worlders think FG is good.
At least on the earlier episodes of Family Guy when the show was less about referential humour and almost solely focused on a story, Peter's stupidity would actually make me dislike the character, and there was rarely a satisfying resolution to his actions, he would just do stupid, destructive decisions and everyone involved was miserable for it.
early seasons are still good for a laugh
this shit makes me laugh every time I see it
Yeah it was consistently funny until like season 5 or whatever but now its only sometimes funny.
Always preferred futurama as my adult cartoon shit tho even if it loves its “.and than the opposite thing happens” joke
me when someone tells me to upgrade my PC
Blessed thread
God family guy is and always was so unfunny its unbelievable
That's why recontextualizations are funny. It's better than the source material.
It's a very strange thing. I personally don't think Family Guy is funny at all, but when it's used as a reference point for a joke, it's somehow stupidly hilarious. Had a good laugh every time this kinda thing happened.
>I only play indie games
The sign of a hipster with very little income who hates the "establishment" I bet you only shop at local mom and pop stores and don't buy anything from any big corporation. You buy vinyls and listen to them on your RECORD PLAYER? Kek
Oh! I never realized that.
For me, it's The Cleveland Show.
Mike Barker given too much control and freedom, if I had to guess.
>lynch in Cleveland show
Because Mike Henry wrote a letter to Lynch saying how much he loved Wild at Heart and Lynch was moved by it, and they became friends.
Ah, let 'im go. We'll never catch him...not with these inflated budgets.
>can get paid around $200k for a 20 minute episode
>these are the same people who think they're being treated as the most oppressed of minorities
lol
lmao even
I thought Chris was Seth Green? No way it's McFarlane.
Has anyone on Ganker seen nuFuturama? It got renewed for 2 more seasons.
I gave up after like what, episode 3?
the dune episode was so bad that I got turned off to the whole thing
Same. I just stopped watching halfway and didn't watch the rest of the season
man i am so glad it wasn't just me.
It's not offensively bad, it's kinda meh. Could have been 100X worse in todays media environment
Fry wasn't from the original run
i read the episode titles, that was enough
it was doomed the second they decided to continue the comedy central run's trend of having episodes revolve around hamfisted TOPICAL social commentary
To be fair, the original run had an episode about Napster
Granted, that was the name of the IP thief/kidnapping company, but the moral was more about the future of robo waifus. Which is about to get more relevant again.
There was like two decent episodes in a season of stinkers
the first episode was worse than mediocre. it was a drawn out 20 minuet version of those "the executives that fired us are stupid" skits. not unwatchable, but i kept going "yeah, i get it" while watching it. not worth watching
second episode was painful and forgettable. kiff and amy's tadpoles comeback. the idea that the kid's age differently depending on where in the swamp they grew up was cool though. it was a "parenting is hard" episode, not worth watching
third episode was alright. wild west gold rush themed. they use robot heads to mine crypto. there was a cool scene where dwight limbos and the camera rotates in 3d. also dwight's spine got ran over so now he can limbo like hermes. i enjoyed some of it, not enough to keep watching the show however. worth watching but not really
i'm not gonna watch more, but i hope this is a situation where the writers are just getting into the swing of things and that the later seasons will be better written. i know it won't
I fucking hated the Comedy Central revival era. Somehow the Hulu one was even fucking worse
Felt off, characters especially.
It's like they're facsimiles of the original cast.
I remember being super hyped when it got revived on CC because it was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I watched like 5 episodes of that and dropped it forever. I have zero expectation that the new revival is any better than that garbage.
I got the the Amazon episode and couldn't take it anymore, though the Bitcoin episode might have been the worst thing I've ever watched
Futurama is the last show that should be fucking "topical." I guess that's how you can be sure they ran out of ideas.
It got revived after the CC series? Why?
The same reason Simpsons' grave is still being desecrated.
Simpsons hasn't been cancelled twice though. Futurama doesn't have the obscene staying power.
If the voice actors literally sound like theyre dying. Maybe you shouldnt make a reboot.
>current thing but futurama
>billy sounds like hes already half a foot in the grave
Good news everyone, I have bad news!
what the deuce
/sg/ represent
You know what really grinds my gears?
The fact that most people don't remember that family guy was the pivotal juncture when the term "normies" started becoming popular and widespread in society, which came specifically from this episode.
Peter not fat anymore
It's funny how much family guy tried to be "in" by playing outdated internet memes on the show, instead of focusing on the things it actually achieved by being well written.
Earliest reference of to "normies" I can think of is literally Fallout 1.
The phrase normie isn't popular anywhere outside of fringe groups btw.
Normie is a nuGanker term anyway, oldGanker said Normalfags
Normie is the safe-for-other sites version of Normalfags, and thus an easy way to out normalfags. Normies in Family Guy was more of a coincidence and not the origin of the term
The term like "normies" has always been widespread and popular everywhere.
Favorite episode? Mine has to be "Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallows."
Good episode
Soulful, Character driven, It's the episode I most think of when I think of S1-3.
The last game you played gets a cutaway gag, what's the joke?
>"Aw man, this is worse than the time I went full faith in Elden Ring!"
>"40 Strength to wield a faith weapon!? What the hell Miyazaki!"
>"This weirder than that time I killed my Father-Mother"
>*Five minute chicken fight of Peter fighting Father-Mother dressed as Ghat*
"Like that one time I mildly threatened Kazuma Kiryu and he beat the crap out of me for 400 yen."
Nah, Peter, everyone just plays the hot girls."
>"Well, hell, Quagmire, is there anyone that act as a frontline?"
>"Oh, yeah, I mean, there's one over there."
NovMire points to the fine ass and muscled back of a Sonya. Puther smiles and nods in appreciation, and walks up to her.
Puther slaps her ass and giggles. Sonya turns around to reveal she is being played by Meg.
>"DAD!?"
>"AHHH!"
>"Ow!"
>trust me Brian, first day of your job is toughest. Remember my job at Racoon city?
>hard cuts to Peter getting killed by zombies
>"This is worse than the time I tried PF raiding in Final Fantasy."
>Peter is divebombed by Twintania, his character screams a digitized "Ah crap!" and dies.
>"Peter, watch out for the Yellow God, they're tough"
>"Ah that's a bunch of baloney."
>smash cuts to him cutting off his own tail in excessively gruesome detail as he tries to escape a mouse trap
Transition Saga
>"This is going to better than my job at Deep Rock Galactic!"
> 5 minute still of Peter lying down like pic related next to the Abyss Bar
Same energy
It's literally the joke.
No way. Has Family Guy ever referenced Sonic?
Peter literally does the spin dash in episode 3, another reference taken from Sonic
>aw jeez lois this is worse than that time I ran into savage deviljho on a hunt and my palico turned into a small black child
>"I'm not doing any more medical trials, not after last time!"
>cut to peter in Limsa Lominsa drinking a Fantasia in front of a lalafell and roegadyn
>he starts writhing on the ground in pain for an uncomfortable amount of time while the other 2 just watch
>eventually a catgirl bursts out of his chest like Alien, screeching but noticing her boobs
>starts groping them while laughing with peter's voice
>Wow, Lois, this is more fun than the time I went to Termina!
>What?! Only 3 days to stop the moon from crashing? You know what that means! e-e-e-E-E-EVERBODY'S HEARD ABOUT THE BIRD
Anybody got a good torrent for complete seasons 1-10? 720p atleast
You now remember Vinny Griffin
Is he like graggle simpson?
unironically what were they thinking with this character?
No, he actually existed. He was there for that set of episodes where Brian was dead and this was somehow a big deal.
Only 3 episodes. With one of these being the episode where Brian "dies" and another one where he's brought back.
My god, that's pathetic. I thought I had seen the beginning and end of it with maybe one in between since that was how pirates on Youtube got it up, but no, that's the whole fucking thing?
They were smoke crack
his name is GUMBLY motherfucker
>graggle
>not weird matt
get this redditor outta here
How did Reddit and Morty manage to rip off this beloved character with Mr poopy butthole and capture none of the nuance?
Vinny Griffin? Never heard of him
now the crossover episode where Vinny VINESAUCE, that i remember.
Wasn't he in like 2 episodes only?
Why do normalfags love sopranos so much?
soprano good fuck you
Orville had potential but it's so fucking gay a lot of the time.
Lmao, best thread on Ganker right now.
I watched so much Family Guy as a kid, back when it was still good.
>you now remember Cleveland Jr used to be a skinny kid who was mildly retarded but was big into sports
>he doesn't know
no but I wanna
give me an update on family guy lore
The fat Cleveland Jr. was a spy who murdered and took the place of Cleveland’s original son
When the fuck was this?
That's just too retarded. Cleveland Show must have been desperate to get people watching "Black Family Guy." American Dad's attempts at lore seem tasteful by comparison.
Fat Jr is actually cia spy who's been sent to Stoolbend VA to assassinate Tim the Bear, who is really known as Tim the Terrorist. In order to do so, he killed Skinny Jr and took his place as part of his mission.
>t. Macfarlane lore expert
Tranny O' cut off his tool
I hate when they reference celebrities who I don't even know
It seems today that all you see are John Mcvideogames and Swordguy McJRPG. But where are those good old fashioned Scrimblo Bimblos, upon which we used to rely?
The new Simpsons is fucking painful homer and Marge now grew up in the late 90s early 2000s. Who is still fucking watching it?
Didn't Homer help Maude Flanders deliver Todd with a YouTube tutorial now?
I might be a couple of seasons behind but I saw a couple of episodes I genuinely liked, like the one where Homer and Marge are stranded in the forest just trying to survive. That episode alone had more heart than the previous 10 seasons put together.
there's someone else who absolutely LOVES family guy
you share his tastes
Yes I'm well aware that the Funky Uncle of all people loves Peter Griffin and Family Guy.
Fucking bizarre to me considering how you would never expect a nip to love an American sitcom.
>Only indie and AAA games exist.
you fags don't deserve to play good games.
Peter, what are you doing?
CRACK.
What the FUCK!?
GUBMINT CAME AN TOOK MAH BAYBE
>GUBMINT CAME AN TOOK MAH BAYBE
?si=TFNcUv79GjyxWTlR
>They replace Adam West with David Lynch after he died.
I enjoyed it.
They replaced him with Sam Elliot, even Family Guy fags were complaining he's boring since his whole character is on Sam Elliot's dick whereas Adam West was willing to be goofy.
David Lynch was "Gus" in Cleveland show and moved over when it was canceled, at least that's what I remember. I guess Lynch stopped showing up.
Still, it was funny.
This clip is so fucking funny
American Dad is just a better show because Seth Mcfarlane doesn't write for it
Ganker BUSH
I HATE YOU JANNIES, I HATE YOU JANNIES
SEX WITH CHILDREN
AND STOMP THEM WHILE I DANCE
I wish I was a stud like the q man
Why are there so many American Dad shills? It's even worse than nu-Family guy. Every single episode is the same shit and the characters has been butchered more than family guy.
>it's a the character becomes drunk/high and act like retards episode
Drug episodes are the shittiest episodes of every series they appear in.
>character take drugs
>they start seeing weird bright colors and shapes everywhere
>no matter what drug they take it's always the same shit
>character drinks an energy drink
>act like they've taken 1kg of cocaine and act crazy
test
American Dad has the exact same energy as Zombie Simpsons. Stop shilling this shit show.
AD can at least elicit a chuckle sometimes, more than modern Simpsons.
Mainstream TV trying to pander to esports was the strangest thing, thanks for reminding me it exists.
Francine is the only fun AD character.
>retarded bimbo that is still always in the right against Stan, because Stan is a dumb stupid white male that is always the one everyone makes fun of
the family guy AI show is the only good one.
no it aint
>I love the Stewie and Brian travel episodes
was it kino?
Attention Ganker browsers:
