The game is Lawnmower Man. I got to the first puzzle but they don’t hint and like for real what IQ level am I expected to have for this? What’s it mean?

      >I got to the first puzzle but they don’t hint
Fricking hell. I don't think you should be playing this game at all. The solution is probably 1334 though. The third one is the only one I'm not certain of.

If you're counting down from the top of each column then yeah I agree with your numbers except for that third one. I would say 1314. The circle has no corners and the other three in that column are polygons.

My line of thinking was that there is no symmetry along the horizontal axis for the triangle but I wasn't 100% certain, as I had also considered that the circle is non-polygonal.

First Row - 1, since it does not follow the pattern (squares shift one block clockwise)
Second Row - 3, (27,64, and 8) are all perfect cubes, 73 is not
Third Row - 3, The triangle is the only one with odd numbered points (I assume the game is counting the circle as 0, or infinite points)
Last Row - 4, the dot is not in the middle of the shape.

It's a simple "one of these things just doesn't belong" puzzle. Impossible for zoomies who were taught the >9k genders instead of critical thinking and problem solving. Trivial for even a low IQ child a decade before the game was released.

You guys are fricking with me right? Have you played and beaten the puzzle? It’s actually not the same one each time either. The instructions were no help. And I can’t find a gamefaq

Enjoy trawling through scans of old magazines.
Seriously, enjoy it. That shit's dope and you might find inspiration for what to play next too

Can't speak for the other guys but yes. I have. It says a lot about the quality, or lack thereof, of /vr/ posters these days that your conclusion is that people are just fricking with you instead of you being a moronic zoomie. You should probably just stick to modern games with hand holding and participation trophies.

Last Row - 4, the dot is not in the middle of the shape.

Column 1 = 2 (Only pattern where the solid black square is on the right)
Column 2 = 4 (Only single digit number)
Column 3 = 1 (Only shape with no corners)
Column 4 = 4 (Only pattern with a line down the middle)

Any of your theories that aren't factually wrong are potentially the correct solution. These rules/patterns/whatever are just something a game designers pulled out of their ass. If you didn't see the same similarity/difference as them it means nothing other then your autism is a little different than theirs. But this is one of the reason zoomies are so bad at problem solving. It requires you to make theories and game them out until you find the best one. This inevitably leads to theories failing and zoomies fragile psyches simply can't handle that. Even in trying to solve a puzzle in a game.
Also, I'm a little concerned no one considered prime numbers might be involved in a number puzzle. One of the oldest number puzzle tropes there is.

The prime numbers is the least of the tricky ones though. Obviously can find that similiarity and rule 8 out immediately. Same with the vowels and consonants one. But some of these symbols are tricky.

As far as thinking vr is fricking with me, cmon man, this is Ganker lets not forget. Although this is one of the best boards far as people and convos go, I can't help but try and sus out responses as potential trolling.

Guess I will keep plugging away and make note of whats right and wrong. I think the SNES game is drastically different from this Sega CD version.

That's only because you're not autistic enough. Maybe ask mommy to get you a few more vaccines?
            >I can't help but try and sus out responses as potential trolling
Not a single poster told you to git gud
            >Guess I will keep plugging away and make note of whats right and wrong.
There are a limited number of puzzle types and 4 options each time. Even a literal tard could work it out though a process of elimination in short order.

The only thing I can figure out if column two is 9 multiplications except for 8 which I guess is the odd one. But columns 1,3 & 4 I’m stumped

In the first column all the squares are beside each other except in the third one where they are stacked ontop. 8 is the only number not divisible or a multiple of 9. Circle is the only one with no corner, or straight edge. And the last one has the circle inside of the evenly divided sections but all the others it’s not like that.

I wonder if the movie helps at all

        LOOOOOOOOL
Column 1 was the only thing I got wrong, and it had nothing to do with Mathematics. Eat shit you mathematical dick

WTF? 64 and 73 aren't multiples on 9 either. In fact, 73 is prime.

Dude lol you’re right. I’m so high too, I thought that was 54 not 64… hmm so maybe I answered the first one wrong. I wonder if the whole game is this or if there’s anything else

I thought it was 54 and 63 not 64 and 73 - I was using the hands method too and counted the fingers wrong

Again it’s the last column giving me trouble, I can’t figure out the pattern. I figured again we have the blocks in the first Column which are up and down. Then I did the only non vowel (easy). The third column I see sun moon cloud and stars so I picked the cloud as the odd one out and last column I picked S because it has curves but I got it wrong and died

Maybe moon, as the rest are weather forecast symbols?
Maybe M, as the others are worth 1 point in Scrabble but M is worth 3

That's supposed to be stars? I thought it was rain or snow. This game doesn't appear to be very good.

First column is second from the top obviously. Second column is E because that's the only letter that appears an odd number of times in the title "Lawnmower Man". Third is crescent moon because it is reminiscent of a woman's cycle whereas the other three symbols (sperm, sun, and wadded up tissue respectively) are associated with masculinity. Fourth column is T because that is the letter whose hexagonal tile has the most pronounced speckling on it by far.

    >column 1:
If each symbol is rotated so that the two boxes are at the bottom, the "L" shape will always be on the right, except for the first symbol.
    >column 2:
Each number is a cube, except for 73.
    >column 3:
Each shape is symmetrical on both x and y axis, except the downward triangle.
    >column 4:
The thick line is close to the edge of the square of all shapes, except the bottom one, where it is vertically centred.
