I'm disappointed there aren't replacement mods yet. I know there's one for her face but that's not enough.
I was a bit surprised how little in the way of items for the squad and overall customization of your ship and empire was in the alpha.
I had expected to be able to upgrade at least your ship's crew with equipment and have parts of the ship be able to get changed to your liking. There's nothing so far and with Owlcats track record I'm gonna expect there never will be. Which is a shame, I would have liked to choose if the dynasties' soldiers get equipped with lasguns or stubbers, switching armor to standardized cadian or some other regimant equipment as a quest reward and such.
The ship combat is currently literally impossible because you can't upgrade the fucking ship, you'd think they'd get on that when putting the alpha out

I don't like transhumanism, I don't like cyberpunk, I don't feel anything for the Adeptus Mechanicus themselves. I also consider the Necrons the top 2 worst race in 40k, I find them utterly boring, only less boring to the Tau.
I wish there was someone like me out there, that shares my opinion, and even then, still enjoyed the game because the game itself, is good.

Rogue Traders were founded by the Emperor way back at the first flowering of the Imperium when he was still a walking talking man. Their purpose is to explore, trade, rediscover lost worlds and lost technology, and generally go where even the Imperiums military cannot. The Emperor recognized lunatics chasing profits would be able to figure out solutions or find things others couldn't. As a result he issued warrants of trade to certain dynasties empowering them to travel freely or even flout imperial law if they need to. Theoretically on paper you can get away with anything short of outright treason with a warrant.

I think it's more he might fall to Chaos unwillingly eventually, but one thing I'm starting to suspect is that all the companions will have bad routes you can either push into or pull away from; Argenta with whatever happened to her when she was lost in the Warp, Cassia with either rejecting or embracing that thing implanted in her, chad Inquisitor going to Chaos and so on.

Since, after the horus heresy the space marines legions which were already a small number of the imperium forces were split in twain between the traitor legions and the loyalist, then the loyalists further split in the successor chapters to make sure no single chapter could be a danger to the imperium, this means space marines are a rare sight outside their own chapters.

You can't outright join it, at least not in the alpha, but you can ignore and even encourage the spread of Chaos corruption on your planets. There will definitely be a Chaos ending.
