It has a ton of content. There are people with over 200 hours in the early access.
It legitimately has an insane amount of content. It's virtually the size of a full game if not for the level cap and the story obviously not going far. The only question is if the full game can actually live up to that quality and quantity for 2 more acts.
Act 1 will have all the real content, then you'll get an okay Act 2, and a total rushjob for Act 3.

Makes it so your zap ability has two shots per turn. If you've been leveling it and use hex properly it does a fair bit of damage and knocks back
An extra shot per turn is ok I guess but at least at low levels warlok is pretty basic compared to the other classes that have a couple of different abilities to use.

This is honestly the thing that bothers me most about the writing in this game. And, no, I'm not someone who starts malding the moment I see a gay or a moron in my game. That said, I wish the game would establish earlier on that the tadpoles aren't going to transform you right away. It makes me feel really guilty doing any side content to the point where I deliberately ignore triggering events just to rush to halsin, and that's not a very fun way to play. The whole time I thought finding the githyanki would be the first thing to do since laezel is the first person you meet and she insists on it constantly, and yet when you get there it's not in the alpha and is more than likely to cause you to enter a fight you have almost no chance of winning.
I'm also disappointed that after rescuing halsin there's no way to sneak back to the grove with him and fight off the massive horde there, instead you just kind of have to assassinate (read: plant smokepowder barrels around) all the leaders and then fight the whole goblin horde singlehandedly.

All the Baldur's Gate "fans" I've seen who are excited for this game have barely played the originals, if at all. Just take a look at that gay CohhCarnage, the supposedly "huge CRPG fan", he played through BG1 and 2 not even a year ago for the first time and in 1 he skipped pretty much everything and finished the game after a measly 30 hours, in 2 it was better because he was jacking off to the retarded romance dialogue but he still only got about 70 hours out of the game. Fun fact: The very first time he opens a mage book is when he's fighting Sarevok at the end of BG1, I'm not kidding. I played both. Ranger with a bow in BG1, Fighter/Thief in BG2 because I went in blind not knowing that not only do you have Jan but Imoen too for thievery. The problem with RTwP is the same as Diablo, too much filler fights because you need it to be fast paced and AI generally will not utilize the mechanics well. The hardest fights in BG2 are finding the liches early and them using Time Stop and unloading shit with Contingency. Maybe the mind flayer area in the sewers too.
RTwP is the worst of both worlds. If you want a fast paced CRPG, literally just make Diablo's combat like Divine Divinity. Not some "6 seconds=1 turn" shit with max APR of like 2-3.
Play it with SCS, as everyone has been doing for over two decades by now.

It isn't about being able to pause the game, you can wait forever between making your turns. RTwP plays out in real time, it is a lot quicker and personally I find it a lot more challenging and tactical than turn based.
