This. Retarded tumor looking game that appeals to people who like leaving their scabs hanging from a single thread. These kind of games appeal to people who like to be dominated by fat women in heels.
They're both the same thing, I dunno why I expected Wartales to be any better (I own both). I was going to get the Iron Oath but it turns out it looks even shitter.
It's a decent game but I couldn't play it for as long as Battle Brothers. I like that it doesn't rely on RNG in combat but somehow it gets boring faster and I can't bother completing all the missions.
Every game should consist of a game logic engine and a separate GUI client, with the API being open so that people can develop better alternatives. Sort of like Nethack does it.
Two main issues for me:
The RNG of getting good bros is insane. The RNG for background, talents, perks, starting stat spread and stat growths all have to align just right in order to get the bro you really want. And the game obscures most of that from you.
Bosses are the least fun part of the game. You will lose or take heavy losses on your first try, guaranteed. And then during battle you'll figure out what you need to do and then you'll not even struggle in the slightest on subsequent attempts. Feels very cheap to fight them.
>first time playing the game and actually doing decently >spent a whole real life day with my starting party slowly gearing up more exploring the world and things >then get into a fight against nightmare demons or someshit >get completely ownzoned and wiped
And I never played fightsiblings again
I hate how the characters look it's fucking retarded.
have a nice day

But enough about Wartales

nah. its just non-stop frustration until you figure the game out and then its just super easy.
yeah sure, you can do allot of nifty things in it, Id recomend the expansion mod, basically doubles the content
yee
pretty good. orc berserkers are bullshit tho
It's a good game but the RNG can be bullshit.
quick, someone gives that wolf a medal
is there a mod that fixes the art style
Yes.
It's called Wartales and it's unironically, categorically, emphatically, most definitely a better game in every possible way.
Don't you ever get tired of shilling that shitty game?
Don't you ever get tired playing the inferior game?
I'm not the one playing Wartales
>no u
Look at the state of (You)
I accept your concession.
That game is fucking dogshit. Don't ever compare that generic asset flip to BB again.
>sjw cancer
no thanks
explain
this is so wrong its crazy
wartales is goyslop
battlebrothers is pure sovl
>1000 hours+ in Battlebrothers
Looks like souless trash.
lol, game looks cool but it's totally hollow, in every way.
I dislike the faction passive that you can't deactivate in any manner.

It's a great game most of the time.

Never heard of this in my life but it looks neat. qrd?
yes its great, the learning curve is pretty big though.
>No mounted units
there are mods
Where do you find mods for the game?
https://www.nexusmods.com/battlebrothers
I enjoyed the base game but:
>dlc are never on a decent sale
and the game feel barebone with just the base game
Will I like this game if I love mount and blade?
Yes. It's definitely scratches the same itch, comes with Noble Houses you can side with if you wish to as well.
The gameplay is turn-based and tactical, with RPG elements(leveling, equipment management, trading etc.).
Its sort of M&B but with turn based tactical combat instead or real time FPS combat
The game is amazing but it has so much untapped potential. Sad that devs abandoned it to make an ugly as shit 3d millitary game.
>Shartales shill is having another meltdown
Many such cases.
wish there was a mode that halved the dudes on both sides, hate big parties in turn based games.
play lone wolf
