    Sure!
I hope you have fun too anon, if you're not super familiar with FPS games you might want to try offline practice with bots for a couple rounds to warm up.

    Yes.
TF2 is a casual game, so everyone is at different skill levels. If you treat the game seriously, you'll eventually get better, if you don't, you'll be like most players and be at their skill level roughly which is why so many people can pub stomp.
It's fun though to play, so try it.

Yeah. Buy a key or two and you have access to chat and better lifetime drops. If you're a clever cookie, you can trade the raw keys (just one should cover it) to completely deck your mercs out with all the unlockable sidegrades plus a few cheap hats of your choosing.

It's the only chill FPS left, everything else is built around esports and competitive integrity over fun. It's the only game with community servers and custom content like mods left that's active anymore.

No stupid chores like battle passes or daily challenges to force you to play either because it was released when games weren't complete time and money sinks. gays will probably screech about trannies but there's no filter and you can't get your account globally banned like other games. Valve never pandered to those wierdos either.

Trading is pretty gay yeah, I've been playing for half the average lifespan of every newfag on this board and I've never traded in my life.

And like the other dude said there lots of other shitters or newbs playing, if you know how to use a mouse and keyboard you'll probably do better than you think. Just beware the poopsockers that been playing for half the lifespan of the average gay on this board.

It's alright, developers have been making meme updates like adding boats instead of adressing more pressing matters but at least they are updating it regularly. It got a new continent released recently, too. It's not a bad time to come back to it.

trading is fine for grabbing common versions of new weapons but outside of that is boring and annoying

If you already have some games on Steam and some trading cards, you can just ask a bot in a website called tf2 scrap to buy those for shit called metal. With about 2 refined metals, you can get all the weapons in that same site instantly. This way you can just try different loadouts and find your groove.

    Dead game, filled with bots.
Enjoy TDM in Turbine or congas every 2 minutes.

Frankly there is no reason to play TF2 in 2022 outside of getting your fix of nostalgia ( Which is why Ganker love that game ).

TF2 is dead, it's time to move on to the superior multiplayer Valve shooter AKA Left 4 Dead 2
    >Fully mod supported with a large amount to choose from
    >Consistent playerbase that isn't filled with bots
    >No garden gnome cosmetics, if you want to change the appearance of someone you download a mod, no transactions required
    >A well programmed game director ensures that almost every game you play is different than the last, promoting replayability
    >even if you get bored of playing the same campaign maps all the time, there are plenty of great custom maps to choose from
    >has one of the most advanced gore systems in a vidya
    >Versus still makes gays and shitters seethe to this day

If you want to see the player base for L4D to rise why not bring back the retards behind Back 4 Blood
