you just get burnt out especially if you go hard which most people do. Getting burnt out on rs and having to take a few month break is pretty normal and happens without leagues anyways.
Yeah probably. The actual game is designed for mentally ill people that play 12 hours a day and bots. Leagues are actually accessible to people who do things other than play runescape all day.
I'd say it's worth it if you have a backlog of film, TV, anime, manga, books, audiobooks, etc. that doesn't merit your full attention. I played during League 2 and didn't regret it even though I got very burned out going for dragon cup. The impermanence didn't bother me, because all MMOs are impermanent, and the League let me experience more of OSRS than I'd ever get to experience playing normally.
That said, OSRS at 16x exp. and drop rates is still OSRS, it's a 2nd monitor game.
damn
dont know if im going full raids mode though
i just want to get enough points to buy death animation on my GIM when its all over
its my first league and i have no idea how any of this works, but i guess i can decide how much i want to grind when i figure out the prices
They only showed a thing saying they'd have increased stats, we don't actually know if it will just be that or that and some different mechanics. ToA goes up to 1000 invocation so we'll see if it's just a single invocation that buffs stats or if they made a couple really difficult invocations that change mechanics.
I assume you're going ranged? Asgarnia gets you Armadly Crossbow and the Nex one so it's the better choice. Definitely wouldn't bother with Mory for a ranged account, probably only for a melee one.
There's really no point in going for all the raids since you'll have one really buff combat style. For example if you go melee, there is no point in having toa if you have tob since scythe is just going to outclass fang is basically every single situation (since accuracy will not really be a concern due to relic accuracy boosts). If you aren't doing melee, there isn't really anything at tob for you.
Yeah and 2 tick. Personally, I'm going range and going to try and get a twisted bow so I can be upset and ruin leagues for myself when I go ridiculously dry for it.
It's actually a lot more flexible if you wanna get the best stuff. If you go desert + kandarin you basically get everything you could possibly ever want for mage. So you can just choose whatever area you want for the third region. You could go kourend and get ancestral, go frem to get magus ring (though you'd have to kill the boss off style), go tiarwwyn for toxic trident, go mory for sang and ahrims, or even go asgarnia if you want just to get eternals and fight gwd bosses.
The other two styles are more limited where you have the two must pick regions and maybe 1 or two options for the third.
well if you are only interested in those two, fremenik has way easier bosses. You got dag kings, vorkath, and muspah. Also has duke but you need desert to unlock that.
You could go Desert + Asgarnia and get a ZCB instead of Twisted bow. ZCB will be easier to get too. They'll probably have similar dps on high magic level monsters if you use ruby bolts. You could even remove Desert if you're willing to just use armadyl armor. You'll miss out on 23% damage from the prayer you get in kourend though, that would be the biggest drawback. The gear is mostly comparable.
You could also drop kourend for fremmy because that gives you not only the ring but also the backpack. Then you'd basically have maxed gear other than the necklace.
Its a limited game mode with altered game rules, much faster xp, higher drop rates, different meta altogether, but its for a limited time
Its a bit like a PoE league but happens way less frequently
Its not a money making gamemode, you get something out of it but thats not the point. They probably just saw private servers and wanted to copy some of those elements
yeah but if its in the same tier as globetrotter/whatever the fairy thing is then it's an easy pick to speed through a lot of skills esp if you have production prod
Enjoy hurting your back bending over picking up that steel platebody. I will have 99 construction from building gold sinks, 99 smithing from buying ores, 99 fletching from smithing them into ammo, 99 crafting from cutting gems, 99 cooking from store-bought fish, and I will be able to train gathering skills with high xp methods instead of doing shit like "banking"
One of my favorite parts of leagues is honestly just the menus, so I'm a little disappointed its just the same thing again. They always make such nice interfaces. I don't if that's a weird thing to particularly like.
No.
Runescape is not Amerikan
How is that relevant?
The asiatic implied its amerikan
Where?
In the image you posted. He said dumb amerikan plays bad game
How does playing a game imply that they made it?
then the asiatic turns off 2ch, logs onto Steam, then plays some shitty hentai VN
well EROTIC games are the only appeal of PC for them.
no green arrow albeit so he looks like that and says that
japs have shit taste in anime and vidya
No. Jagex supports the transvestite mutilation of children.
I'm playing it, it will be fun.
No
I didn’t know they added a saint paddy’s day event. Where’s the pot of gp?
The only gp you're getting from that are genital pimples.
>look mom i posted it again
Watch as he replies with his classic line of "M-multiple people can post the same image"
multiple device posting shill
You can't go back to the slow main game after it
Play it if you have no interest in the actual game
you just get burnt out especially if you go hard which most people do. Getting burnt out on rs and having to take a few month break is pretty normal and happens without leagues anyways.
I played the fucker autistically for the last 2 months.
I ain't got the willpower for a league.
Oh shit, seasonal league is up?
Starts on wednesday. They've got teasers of relics and stuff on the news blog that they're revealing daily.
Think I'll put down for some time, always love a season.
Yeah it's pretty fun.
Trailblazer is interesting with the limitations.
Haven't decided my regions yet. Probably desert as an excuse to learn TOA,
none of the other leagues have been even remotely as interesting as twisted tbh
It's the only real way to experience OSRS unless you like botting.
yeah
think im going ranger relic
but im still unsure if i want to go fremennik or wildy as first zone
Yeah probably. The actual game is designed for mentally ill people that play 12 hours a day and bots. Leagues are actually accessible to people who do things other than play runescape all day.

drop rates are increased now
5x i think
If you do the new harder hard modes you can get up to x15 drop rates in raids.
damn
dont know if im going full raids mode though
i just want to get enough points to buy death animation on my GIM when its all over
its my first league and i have no idea how any of this works, but i guess i can decide how much i want to grind when i figure out the prices
Have they mentioned the mechanics of the harder hard modes? Might be pretty fun unless it's just more hp and def
They only showed a thing saying they'd have increased stats, we don't actually know if it will just be that or that and some different mechanics. ToA goes up to 1000 invocation so we'll see if it's just a single invocation that buffs stats or if they made a couple really difficult invocations that change mechanics.
I wonder how viable would be going for all 3 raids or should I switch Morytanya for Asgarnia/Tyrannwn for gear?
I assume you're going ranged? Asgarnia gets you Armadly Crossbow and the Nex one so it's the better choice. Definitely wouldn't bother with Mory for a ranged account, probably only for a melee one.

also they are making scythe cheap to use
Yeah and 2 tick. Personally, I'm going range and going to try and get a twisted bow so I can be upset and ruin leagues for myself when I go ridiculously dry for it.
what's the point of playing pure?
Goals?
What is the benefit of going mage over melee or range?
Personal choice? Mage was the least picked in the last Trailblazers league and it's been massively buffed since then with ToA

Gonna go mage with desert, kourend and kandarin, hopefully gonna try and get a wand day one, might or might not go for full infinity idk
5x Mage Arena points may make me not want to kill myself
got any more of these infographics? its my first league and i'm kinda lost
Check out the official Twitter account that just posted some images detailing what's in each area. I think I just used nitter to view it.
Should I go with Morytania or Fremenik?
I've never really tried bossing in a serious capacity, but lunar spells are comfy.
well if you are only interested in those two, fremenik has way easier bosses. You got dag kings, vorkath, and muspah. Also has duke but you need desert to unlock that.
I wonder why Ultima Online sank while games like WoW and OSRS are still very much afloat.
tob chads which regions are we picking aside from morytania obviously
If I pick ranged would I be stuck with Desert + Kourend?
You could go Desert + Asgarnia and get a ZCB instead of Twisted bow. ZCB will be easier to get too. They'll probably have similar dps on high magic level monsters if you use ruby bolts. You could even remove Desert if you're willing to just use armadyl armor. You'll miss out on 23% damage from the prayer you get in kourend though, that would be the biggest drawback. This just makes it seem like Desert + Asgarnia + Kourend is the optimal selection for ranged basically.
Well yeah, it is. You could always go Widly to get a Webweaver though, that would be fun. Pretty sure it's 1t on rapid.
Ah sad, only 2t
You could also drop kourend for fremmy because that gives you not only the ring but also the backpack. Then you'd basically have maxed gear other than the necklace.
It seems interesting but having to do the same quests on a seasonal basis always soured me on it.
>seasonal league
What is this?
Its a limited game mode with altered game rules, much faster xp, higher drop rates, different meta altogether, but its for a limited time
Its a bit like a PoE league but happens way less frequently
You keep the character after league ends?
No but you get items in the main. Points in a shop with cosmetics in it and a trophy if you get enough points before it ends.
So you waste time just to get a few cosmetics?
Why not use this time to work on your main character for skills/gear instead?
It's called having fun retard. It isn't the main game and can play totally differently depending on your relics.
Its not a money making gamemode, you get something out of it but thats not the point. They probably just saw private servers and wanted to copy some of those elements
no but during the league you collect points that you can trade for cosmetic rewards on your main, which you can sell on GE
Asgarnia, Desert, Kourend and range relic
yep it's gaming time
imagine doing toa/cox without a powered staff, no thanks
Just spoon Tumeken, what are you, a lucklet?
>relic that makes every shop’s items free
Yep, it’s gaming time
It's a trap, you make so much GP in Leagues from the drop rate that there are few situations where you can't afford everything.
yeah but if its in the same tier as globetrotter/whatever the fairy thing is then it's an easy pick to speed through a lot of skills esp if you have production prod
globetrotter is a lot more powerful than it seems because everyone gets last recall this time.
i don't see how, teleports in general won't be that hard to come by, just seems like another shroomhead tier relic
Really depends on what tier it is

Not my problem.
