Great set-up with actually well thought-out characters excellent use of a strange setting. Everything feels very intentional and purposeful, aside from the tiefling rouge romance.

what's a rouge? is it different from a rogue?

Entire Sigil was fun. Not sure which part was my favourite one but Dead Nation and getting Ignus are the first things i can think of.

Is Planescape: Torment a good game?

Amazing game, but i utterly hate how it looks like.
Not even talking about the outdated graphics and Toy Story 1 CGI tier models, but the art style itself. Everything looks like those early AI schizo images that look like something a stroke victim would be seeing, pic related

That's the best part though. It's not called "Planescape: A Walk in the Park"

There's better ways to depict the setting that doesn't make it look like a grey brown twisted shithole. bay far one of the ugliest games I've ever played, I don't care if it was done on purpose, it looks like shit.

          >how it looks like
You could just say "how it looks" and stop the sentence there ESL kun

    >tfw we will never get BG3 level of detail and content game set in the Planescape universe

It could theoretically happen if BG3's modding tools end up being good enough

I'm playing it for the first time right now. It's good, but I wish they would have let you pick your class right off the bat.

Thread is gonna die, but yes, it's a great, amazing game. Hold games like these close and don't try to seek conversation on Ganker about them

Game is an unbearably boring and slow slog until like an hour after you get your journal back from that dust king guy and shuffle through that zombie crypt.

It's a cool and unique experience for a 1st playthrough, wouldn't go through it all over again though. Reading massive walls of text with filler descriptions and flowery language gets old quickly, some of it is interesting but it's excessive.

It makes you realize that Avellone has been writing the exact same story over and over again for almost twenty years.
