>is the champion of paldea
>one third of her team is from kalos
what does it mean? i'd say it supposed to be some xy pandering/shilling if she didnt specifically use the two biggest shitmons from gen 6
>is the champion of paldea

means nothing you moron
Terrible game design most likely.
GLimmora seems to be the only one they actually thought out.
They didn't think her ace through at all either. Glimmora gets way more value when sent as the first pokemon, whereas Kingambit is the opposite and is better off kept in the back. Just switching the order in which she sends her mons would make her a better champion.
The only reason she uses Glimmora as her ace is that they needed a Rock type ace since none of the gym leaders or Team Star bosses are Rock specialists.
Then like...
Change someone to else to use Rock types instead since it's a relatively weak type.
The Math teacher was the former Rock gym leader
Yeah and Leon would be better if he used Charizard first for Gmax Wildfire, and Cynthia would be better holding Spiritomb for late instead of leading with setup fodder. Literally every champion would be stronger if you moved the ace forward.
It's way worse with Geeta than these two. Glimmora doesn't need the gimmick mechanic and Kingambit explicitly benefits from being sent after all your mons are KO'd.
I meant more in the sense that its used to hint at there being more about Geeta.
Checked. What does GameFreak have against not having the game's gimmick and aces last? Having a couple trainers that use them early or mid-battle would be nice.
They're both aces of Kalos gym leaders. It's just a hint at the Kalos DLC.
>He still thinks we will get a Kalos related DLC
>he's a denialgay
cry more borty
Absolutely rent free
Absolutely obsessed
>champion has a kingambit
>a new evolution of bisharp
>who is a gen 5 mon
Lads, I think this is a sign. We're getting Pokemon Gray!
>champion has a new pokemon
yeah that's normal
kinggambit has nothing to do with gen 5 since it dosent look like shit
Her team is meant to look like shit though, it's why she has so many kalos shitmons
that's weird i don't see aurorus in there.
>supposed to be an imposing champion
>2 of her team are shitmons
>1 is a dumb fish
>her "ace" loses to a light sprinkle
I don't understand what they were thinking with her team, there's no thematic throughline whatsoever
and especially why the frick does she have a goddamn Avalugg
Because avalugg is good you shitter
>Avalugg instead of the gen's pseudo, a much better ice type
When was the last time the champ didn't use a pseudo?
lego piss guy if it counts, USUM hau if it doesn't.
>Replace Gogoat with Scovillain
>Replace Avalugg with Cetitan
>Replace Veluza with Palafin
>Lead with Palafin
>Turn 1 switch to Glimmora
>Play like normal
It's that easy. Her "ace" Glimmora will cripple any team that isn't prepared for it, and the threat of Hero form Palafin will loom over you for the entire fight. Suddenly, she's a memorable battle with narrative depth that might trick you into thinking she's actually a competent trainer who deserves her title.
I hate palafin but this guy has a point. Add Supreme Overlord Kingambit as her 5th or 6th pokemon. And watch how little Timmies around the world seethe at GF for bringing Dark Souls tier midboss into a pokemon game
>>one third of her team is from kalos
That explains why she is an absolute jobber
>Imagine thinking Geeta is the champion
