Titanfall would be great if I could find a match any time of the day. Fell in love with the game after beating the campaign on master near release. Lost a lot of online friends that got Battlefield over Titanfall 2 but it was worth it. I had a blast for the first year or two. Then it got really hard to find matches 24/7 and I fell off the game.

I never understood strange farming. The lower your strange level, the more messages you have left to send to the server and tell everyone you got kills.

the numbers on the strange aren't for other people, they're for you. It's achievement tracking but you can customize what you track.
the fact that some people artificially inflate them by killing bots in an idle server will never make sense to me.
It's about affecting the psychology of the people you play with.
When I repeatedly headshot a medic with my strange sniper rifle with medic's killed on it, and they switch to a different class, I've just really impacted the game simply by having a high strange count that made him want to switch classes.

the most I ever think when I see that is that they either play the game a lot or they're just a gay that thinks their customization efforts translate to some sort of notoriety, often both.
I never comment on them and never to the point of switching classes if they kill me specifically. class switches come when I realize my team isn't doing things correctly or at all, not because McDicksuck and his boyfriend managed to win a 2v1.

The only way you can get good frames on TF2 is by modding and changing configs to make the graphics look terrible because it runs like utter shit. I get better frames from DICE EA games from 2017+ than I do in TF2 during combat
I just dont get who even likes Team Fortress 2. It isnt that good of a shooter. Its like the most basic and bare minimum shooter Ive ever played. It isnt really that fun or that exciting in any way. I wouldnt even call it a bad game, I just think its incredibly bland.

No there isn't. Jungle Inferno gutted airblast to the point that 9/10 rockets you airblast dip straight down into your feet, killing you anyways. Sniper remains the only way to deal with Soldier these days and he's not gonna be able to do anything if the Soldier just hides behind cover until Uber is ready. Don't get me wrong, Sniper is fucking cancer, especially when the only way to counter him is to also play Sniper, but better, but Soldier literally falls into this same issue because Valve has notoriously made the very few counters to Soldier completely fucking useless as a means to appeal the massive majority of players who main him.
I bought the game before it went f2p, had a couple dozens hours in it, I enjoyed my time with it, but I have no idea what the fuck is up with TF2's fanatic cult fanbase. What the hell can you still obsess over in this game after 15 years.
It has little competitive value or complexity, most of the few characters are just simple hitscan shooters.
The characters are funny but there are only so many times you can hear the same emotes till you get bored of them
