    nope, not after snes

The snes one didn't result in accidental inputs like most others but it was creaky and fricked up your fingers.

Given enough time it will lose that creaky feeling but eventually after enough wear it will start fricking up inputs.
A snes dpad in that sweet spot between the two is top tier, no contest.

I didn't mind the Xbone controller when I had one but it's been a while so I might be misremembering

Of the controllers I have now, I like the Stadia controller dpad the most followed by the PS5 controller, and the Switch Pro controller last

The JP/Model 2 Saturn D-pads will forever be the gold standard.

The older Xbone ones have a slick texture which I really dislike, the newer X|S ones on the other hand are genuinely really good.

      I don't like it.
The dpad, the controller itself is fine.

8BitDo is the only one that actually has good D-Pads in my opinion. Would recommend this if you are playing multiple Nintendo games on an emulator or on the Switch. It's very easy to setup.

nta, but I have a wired version and it's plug and play, but back buttons are not programmed by default and need to be set up in the app

NTA but I have the switch version, that one lets you toggle between switch controller, xinput (plug and play) and directinput, not sure about the others

Unironically, Xbox Series X controllers. The only major downfall is no gyro, but for playing old games, it's amazing.

Flydigi controllers have the best dpad I have ever used. Mechanical switches and diagonals that actually work.

God, no. Holding that thing makes me wonder why I wouldn't just play on an og model GBA or micro. Or DS, for that matter if it's not a GB/Color game.
The DS phat has an incredible dpad.
