i think horse could easily trample men, they weigh a thousand pounds. from what i understand though they usually dont want to, cavalry would be used to run down people or people is looser formation. they would put blinkers on horses so they can really see what they are doing and trample men instead of avoiding them.
total war can sometimes have moments. i remember first playing warhammer total war, there was this army of savage orcs that spawned in the empire. i ended up build like 8 units of knights along with my regular army and we had a huge battle is was awesome
the lord of the rings movie was lucky to be made at the exact right time,
late enough to benefit from special effects and high production values but not so late so that the story would be butchered in the interests of sjws and the ccp.
the closest is maybe warband with increased battle size, maybe bannerlord once the total conversion LOTR mods start rolling in a decade or so
Every time I watch this scene all I can think is that Sauron is in Barad-Dur doing this.
did Sauron gain a physical form or was he
that eye the whole time.
When you defend whiterun against the stormcloaks in Skyrim.
doesnt that involve like 10 dudes?
it's badass there's catapults and enemies storming the gates
stop
Is it really that easy for cavalry to simply run over any infantry that don't have pikes and spears?

and unlike the movie -- you can control it
