Yeah, same. I really enjoyed MMXCM - it may not have been as ambitious as Battle Network as far as "Megaman but it's an RPG", but it was a nice little adventure for what it was. Competent in most areas and didn't outstay its welcome.
I got the Udon MM&MMX Complete Works book but it can only devote 2-4 pages per game, so for CM it was just the cover and main character arts (photos attached. Inafune's 'frick this game' comment makes me laugh, at least). Which is a shame 'cuz in the game's art viewer area there's shitloads of actual sketches with multiple concepts per character, notes on all their weapons and gear etc. Plenty enough to fill a full artbook.

Well, the game hasn't been totally memory holed, as it apparently got some love in the current mobile title. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjqK_7Rv998
It brought a really cool evolution to the robot design, and gave X one the coolest looking armor sets he's ever had.
But the gameplay is just in the wrong genre.
Why is the dialogue when you win a battle so fricking loud? It's actually 5x louder than everything else and for some reason cannot be changed with the audio settings. I'm baffled. Maybe it's an emulation issue.
Story? No.
Gameplay, Yes.

Man this really isn't a good sell
The Capcom way
Glad this got brought up. I feel like this game has been memory holed hard. Which is a shame, I think MMX lore is actually begging for an RPG.

Oops, messed up the sketches link.
I remember being disappointed with the X Complete Works. The Classic book has a ton more concept art and obscure promo art.
6/10
Plays fine, but way too short, and the new characters really don't get much attention.
Story? Yes
Gameplay? Yes
Music? Frick yes
It's just Breath of Fire with MMX characters, probably top 10 games of all time.
>way too short
Bro
Imagine MMX8 but slow, boring and menu driven.
Fun game. Worth a play through. Random encounter is a bit high but the game is also fairly short, battles are fun.

I love it.
It's absolute dogshit and blatantly unfinished.

ITS SHIT, SHIIIIT
It's a serviceable rpg, it all really depends on how much you dig the style of the game and Megaman in general.
Its okay.
>Mega Man after 2
No.
>Mega Man before X
lolno
Anyway I want to frick Marino in her Quicksilver outfit.
