I got this PC so I can either play videogames,do homework or digital paint and so on.

But those cards are 600-1200. I know they sell at a loss but that seems like a massive loss if that were the case.

I highly doubt that there's a single 4K 3D game on console that doesn't use dynamic resolution.

I'm not even a fanboy, but the economics make no sense for the consoles to be that powerful, and being on par with cards not even 3 years old. You can't just produce a console in that time frame.
CPU wise yes, because it's 7 years old, upgraded GPU to 2070S not that long ago and now I'm glad I did. Fine with where I am, still get 60-144+ on everything I care to play.

I've been hearing this parrot for decades now. Maybe it was true for a time (it never was, the Commodore, Amiga, ZX spectrum, PC-98, etc. existed back then) but today the PC is as much as a gaming machine as any console.

Yes. I have a 3080/3600 combo. I'd like to upgrade my cpu sooner or later but honestly it still hasn't given me any trouble.

I don't think it is and with GPU prices as they are I have no intention of making it as powerful. Specially since I was able to get a PS5. I'll just buy games on the PS5 for now until 4070TI is announced then I'll try and beat the scalpers and pre order mine right away.
