>When's the last time a sequel has been as good as its predecessor
in the zelda frainchise?
well, first off, majoras mask
OoT was kino
but majoras mask was whatever comes after kino
>it'll be worse than BoTW
I fricking hope not. I'm hoping they've reverted more to a classic style because I've got no interest in grinding materials with breakable weapons to tackle copy-pasta'd shrines.
BotW of the Wild would have been a good game if it had 7 traditional temples in it. Then weapon durability wouldn't be a trivial annoyance, you'd actually have to stock up on weapons and food for an expedition into a long as frick temple
Your right,it'll be better
you really think they can hit that 2/10 mark?
When's the last time a sequel has been as good as its predecessor? It doesn't matter how low the bar is, it'll find a way to be worse.

MM is so overrated
BotW was barely anything more than a tech demo, this should easily be better by building on top of it and having more content alone
Sequels are usually better in Vidya.
That hasn't been true for over a decade.
Morrowind
New Vegas
Witcher 3

BOTW wasn't good

Well, the shadowy figure on the mural in the trailer has 7 thingamajigs around it which might very well be macguffins obtained after clearing dungeons
That's the guess. Seven core dungeons + mini dungeons would be fantastic.
Considering that botw is essentially a bare bones version of gmod, botw2 will be guaranteed superior. Even if it is mostly recycled assets
It won't have the same sense of adventure since you've already explored this world
yeah but now we get to explore above the world
I bet you still defend weapon durability
>more tears of light scavenging
HARD PASS
It's remarkable how badly open world meme killed Zelda. Six years of shit so you can walk through an empty wasteland twice.
Why is this taking so long? Aren't they reusing a bunch of assets from botw
BOTW has like 3 tilesets and 5 enemies. Hopefully a lot of the time is spent creating new assets.
>first enemy you encounter is a red bokoblin
i can't fricking wait
I expect it will be a better game in a vacuum but that people will be less excited/impressed by it.
BotW of the Wild would have been a good game if it had 7 traditional temples in it. Then weapon durability wouldn't be a trivial annoyance, you'd actually have to stock up on weapons and food for an expedition into a long as frick temple
only in the sense that it won't feel fresh
i just hope its a fricking zelda game, not some ubisoft shit with towers and gravity puzzles
