Boomerang started as Hanna-Barbera: The Channel then got Pokemon and 90s cartoons. It kept becoming later and later for old stuff, which makes sense since "old" to kids now is 90s cartoons. I have no idea what it shows now.
It's basically TV Land in that it airs old shows but also serves as a dumping ground of programs that not even Cartoon Network would put on their main channel like the Wacky Races reboot.
So it's Nicktoons Network: CN Edition? Boomerang has a subscription app but according to a friend that tried it, they NEVER update outside of a Scooby-Doo movie once in a while.

A thread about TV shows on Ganker will mostly attract people who watch or want to watch that show/network, who see it as they skim a bunch of "yawn, this shitty thread i don't care about again x100+" in the catalogue. Whereas when it's on-topic on like Ganker, it's going to attract all the baiters and spammers who go into such threads specifically to shit it up and get (You)s. Ganker spammers don't come into off-topic threads that are faithful to their off-topic because it's harder to get (You)s, which is the only thing they care about. They love off-topic (shit) threads where the topic is poorly known like traffic laws or some shit because that's insanely easy to bait in.
