Getting shiny Pokémon in SV is piss easy. Every time I turn the game on I stumble up on one in the wild.
I've found more shinies in SV than I have every single other generation I've played combined. I don't even shiny hunt, I find the whole thing tedious and a waste of time, but they just pop up out of nowhere.
They need to bump the shiny rate back up to 1/8192
My first one was a Mareep outside of Cortando, I found a female eevee at Medei. And a Noibat at Chi Yu's shrine.
All in the span of 4 days.

Yeah I feel you. I've been wanting to take somewhat cinematic shots of my trainer with certain Pokemon with the backdrop of the sunset and beach near Porto Marinara but I could never get it right. You figure they'd take a hint when HGSS did it but no, one step forward, three steps back as always.
