I've noticed quite a few of these normie-bait games bombing hard lately. What have they moved on to now? Or are they still paralyzed with fear over the covid boogeyman?
It also has to do with the franchise's relevancy in the eyes of the gaming public. A few year hiatus is fine, but Dread Wolf will most likely release some time in 2024, 10 years after Inquisition. Nobody is waiting that amount of time for a sequel to a game that nobody remembered what they were doing in it, 10 minutes after finishing it.
You're right, but with Dragon Age the series has been riding off the coat tails of how good Origins was for 3 games now.
Inquisition was already a disappointment, that came out 8-9 years ago.
They have to recreate the magic of the first game but with a new coat of paint however it looks like they're going with more of the Nu-Saints Row method of rebooting the game where they'll probably keep the gameplay relatively unchanged from Inquisition but make the story/ writing even worse and more progressive and woke.
Cisquisition was bad enough with all "Ride the bull" and female soldiers everywhere, we'll see how far they'll push it with this next shit show.
That poster being all Fortnite inspired purple behind a Title does not scream Fantasy.
Pic related sums up what Dragon Age was and what it is now.
Inquisition was popular with women and snowflakes in general, so they're going for that fanbase now. They're not going to back to Origins ever again so just forget it.
>Most people are disillusioned with Bioware these days
That's what marketing is for. Month before launch you'll see an artificial hype campaign trying to impose the belief that "Bioware is back", appealing to DA:O and even ME1 nostalgia, etc. The result will be the complete removal of said disillusion from the vast majority of people, and in turn plenty of sales.
Also, if all else fails, a good anime by a good animation studio can salvage even the most broken turd pretending to be a game, as Cyberpunk as shown us all.
Anthem was a colossal failure that couldn't even get it's revamp finished.
Andromeda was made by cosplayers and random people off the street who had never developed anything in their lives and killed any goodwill the ME series had left.
Between DAI, ME3 and DA2 Bioware lost most of their senior staff, the remaining 2 original founders of the company, and made the company a constant joke on the internet.
I remember watching Zero Punctuation like a decade ago and him reviewing a BioWare game. He said something like: >"of and it's well written, but it's BioWare, so of course it's well written, they don't get points for that anymore"
He said it in jest, but if only we knew how much we took for granted back then.
Optimistic, Dragon Age still seems to be largely liked in the cultural zeitgeist despite the missteps, I think even if it's bad it'll still sell just for the name, it would take two frickups in a row to truly kill Bioware.
>anthem >mass effect andromeda >dragon age inquisition
these definitely didnt, and bioware only survived on their reputation still meaning something and EA not being able to decapitate ALL their named studios.
Everything that they shared about this game looks absolutely dreadful, especially the logo - they even got rid of the dragon motive
dragon age stopped being about the original dragon age concept after origins.
Turns out people are fricking moronic and have no taste, the final blackpill is that quality does not matter and never has, all you need is advertising and the homosexual masses will gobble up literally anything.
homie, I couldn't get past the tutorial in DA:O, because I suck at those games. I died 0 times in Inquisition whilst being an immortal tank.
Cant imagine how fans of the series would think about the gameplay
It flopped, got panned generally, and was forgotten about 2 days after release. Its been so long since then I thought Bioware FINALLY ate shit and died but it seems they've been given one last chance (god I hope)
>anthem
Lmao >mass effect andromeda
Ok game, awful ME game >dragon age inquisition
Good >mass effect 3
I hate it but it's good >dragon age 2
I love it but it's painfully unfinished. I wish they'd remake DAO and this one, especially this one and put on all the missing content like the orsino/Meredith final boss split. I've been playing modern crpgs recently and I sorely missed the customisable tactics this games had.
About the next dragon age, I'm cautiously optimistic since it's confirmed single player and EA is not rushing them to shit it out as fast as possible, I guess we can thank cyberpunk for that.
>Inquisition won GOTY
I mean ... it was still shit and people were literally in the honeymoon period, when it won it. The game was out for less than 2 weeks, when it won the award, ffs.
Bioware means beyond shit tier quality now. Sadly Anthem was the one game that they could have made awesome but they failed. Anthem is the one game I wanted to succeed but I knew before it even came out that it was destined to fail because Bioware cannot make games. They suck
plus, the game already has an animal in the title. "dragon"
so why did they put "wolf" in there too? this is a nitpick, but i think it goes to show how off the mark they already are with this game. when the title is atrocious and lacking in sense, you know the entire game will too.
im not the one making the game. i have no clue what the plot is, but i certainly wouldnt put an animal or creature in the subtitle when the name of the game already has one in it.

I hated his character so fricking much, I'm not even interested in the prospect of killing him. I'd rather kill myself than hear that smug butthole run his mouth again
And? They could have called it something like "Pride", which is what Solas' name is supposed to be and could have led into themes for the game. They could have called it "Beyond the Veil" and dealt with Solas' actions and the Fade. Instead they make it sound like a shitty YA novel, with a title that is focused on a single character which will undoubtedly have less time and focus throughout the game than all the other sidequests and activities, and that most people, including fans, won't know or remember who the Dreadwolf is supposed to be.

Yeah, I'm fine. I just don't remember any of that.
Did any of it happen in the game? Were we involved?
Yes. As much as I loved DA: O and Mass Effect, Bioware is dead and the gameplay/stories are mediocre and hardly worth finishing. >In-game content locked behind a mobile phone app
I hate normies so fricking much.
Dragon Age and Mass Effect games have always been Reddit pieces of shit games. You can’t prove me wrong.
Out of all those games maybe Origins and ME2 were close to being passable.
>It's going to suck major ass, won't it?
It's a Dragon Age game. Sucking ass is a series tradition. Even the first game is a mediocre interpretation of Baldur's Gate II.
Companies now think everything needs to be neon purple, because they got some weird idea that this is what the kids are into, even though no one ever said that
it reminded me so much of the saints row logo. you can bet its because this is some nefarious marketing scheme where they found this certain shade of purple and neon fired up zoomers dopamine receptors.
Bioware was only good when the games weren't designed by pretentious buttholes who believe they are writing literary masterpieces in which your role in the as a player and your fun are less important than their conceited farts and pet characters.
Once before Andromeda came out, to be rebooted as an MP game, another reboot, before Anthem came out, to be rebooted as a Live Service game, and another time, in late 2020, to make it SP again. I'm sure it will be fantastic.
It makes sense it's taking long when you consider Bioware HAS to do this right or they're getting terminated by EA. They have no choice. Just think about it, they have nothing other than ME and DA, and they're still riding on success from the 90s and 00s. Anthem was a total flop so no one trusts them for new IPs. Andromeda was a disaster so they can't even do Mass Effect right anymore. Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter and Star Wars are third party IPs so they can't design those games anymore. They haven't released an actual good game in over a decade. If DA 4 isn't successful, it's over for them, it's no wonder a lot of people jumped ship.
I played Inquisition when it came out and I was devestated. "Is this what WRPGs are now? Is this the best there is to offer? Why are people saying this is their GOTY? Are standards really that low?"
Then The Witcher 3 came out the year after and blew my socks off. CDPR saved an entire genre.
>make incredible game >everyone loves it and eagerly anticipates the sequel >abuse this anticipation to blatantly steal $60 from them with one of the worst AAA games ever made >make a better game >wonder why nobody wants to give you more money for it

No, you fricking moron. All that means is that in the UK, it sold as many as 2.

It is fair to assume similar market performance, of a similarly received product.
>And yet, it was the best selling RPG of the year!
Yes. In a competition pool of 1.
Up to the point of the release of The Witcher 3, the amount of AAA RPGs was 1. And Witcher outsold it 4:1.
If the best selling RPG of the year sold half a million copies, it still sold only half a million copies.
Do you have the numbers for the second best-selling RPG of 2014?

There is nothing I can post that would ever make someone as mentally handicapped as you change their positions.
I've given you statements from multiple parties about how succesful the game was.
I have EA's actions regarding the game, allowing it to get DLCs created for it.
I have EA allowing for a sequel to be made, a sequel that started development the year after Inquisition was released.
I have how EA treated other games that didn't meet whatever expectations they had.
And to counter this you have:
The NPD Group list.
The source that didn't track digital sales.
The source that came out and said that Inquisition was the best selling RPG of the year (of which it had less than 2 months to sell in).

Mass Effect 3, Bioware's real best launch, sold 1 million copies in 3 days. In a month, it had sold 3 million copies. Can you, at least, show me the numbers of the second best selling RPG of 2014, in NA, to know, at the very least, the minimum it should have done? Can you do that?

Why would I waste my time with you when you ignore everything I say when your smooth brain can't engage with it?
You know there are no concrete numbers for Inquisition, so you trying to make me give you any is just you trying to deflect from your clearly untenable position.
Stories, characters, coomer shit, etc? Sure. Gameplay? It'll be better than DA:O which suffered from all that and played badly to boot. The stone-cold truth is, Bioware hasn't made a good game since Jade Empire.
>Gameplay? It'll be better than DA:O which suffered from all that and played badly to boot.
Judging by DA2 and Inquisition, gameplay has only been getting worse. This time they're going to do half-assed "Soulslike" combat.
Origins still has the best and most coherent gameplay in the series, sad to say.
I'll NEVER forgive Bioware of the disappointment that was Inquisition. I waited like 7 years to play to make sure I was emotionally capable. All the feelings and experiences of playing mass effect and dragon age when I was like 15. Total fricking garbage
From what I've been told, and you can take this as an RP, if you like, both EA and Bioware are aware of this. There is little to no engagement with the franchise, in spite of Inquisitions rather good market penetration. Merging sales with subscriptions, over 10 million accounts have played Inquisition. But the average selling price for ~6 million copies of Inquisition, is around the $20 mark. And even that may be a generous estimate. Neither EA nor Bioware expect any large number of sales from Dread Wolf, but they do hope that the game earns them good will. Of which, both parties are desperate for. So the financial hit, unless some unprecedented surprise happens and the game resonates with the public unexpectedly well, is a given. Everything will hang on the audience reception.
Bioware has nothing else they can make, they owe the fanbase a conclusion to the previous game, that they announced back in ... 2017, I think? And in spite of nobody actually caring for this franchise anymore, at least this one was already in production. And even then, it won't be ready before 2024. Any other game, would take them at least until 2026 to release, and they need something to keep the studio relevant, in the meantime.
ME4 is expected in 2027-8, btw. Dread Wolf might be the only Bioware title we get in this entire console gen.
It's just amazing to me how long a company can coast off of previous good will and audience copium. Blizzard is the exact same way
Pedos project their insecurities about being found out as pedos onto other completely unrelated things.
I hated DA2 and didn't play inquisition but I think the Hamburger Helper thing was overblown. She was far from the worst thing that happened to that game, and a writer doesn't necessarily have to enjoy playing games.
You severely misunderstand the sitution and what was happening at the time. Hamburger helper wasn't really about what she said. it was about how what she said was treated both by the gaming press and Bioware (and other developers) at the time. Bearing in mind, this happened during the hight of GamerGate when all industry professionals (devs, media, publishers, etc) were being openly hostile and antagonistic towards their own customers.
Then this fat c**t comes out and starts telling everyone about how games are too hard and should have an "I win" button she she can enjoy them. Because she's such a good writer. And totally wasn't hired for reasons of neopotism or fat sweaty cheese-smelling sexual favours.
A video game writer absolutely should enjoy playing games. Else you end up with DA2. Walking sims. Gone Homo. TLOU2. Etc.
>Then this fat c**t comes out and starts telling everyone about how games are too hard and should have an "I win" button she she can enjoy them. Because she's such a good writer. And totally wasn't hired for reasons of neopotism or fat sweaty cheese-smelling sexual favours.
Isn't she married to Chris Priestley, and literally the reason she was hired in the first place?
Hamburger Hepler was a sign of how out of touch Bioware was/is. That they would hire someone with those opinions, that low of skill and that lack of interest is a sign that they are fricked up as a company.
They think it won't sell in the current climate. They tried to adapt it and Andromeda was the result. Also what studio do you think is even capable of making a space opera RPG anymore?
All high-profile developers are now owned by a handful of corporations that all command them to churn out the next battle royale game no one ever asked for
Exactly. The only good options, is telling everyone how shit they are. That doesn't help you with getting to know the characters, and frankly, the less you know of them, the better. It shouldn't be that bad.
The entire universe of Star Trek is written as a movie though. The lore will not work for for a videogame as everything is ad hoc from start to finish. Star Wars only has that problem with the Jedi eclipsing everything else, and Mass Effect was built purely as a balanced video game with all power levels roughly where they should be.
It costs too much to make a AAA single-player story-driven RPG nowadays. Multiplayer live service games riddled with microtransactions are what the studios want because the margins are so much better.
We've now passed the peak of video games as an art form (1995-2013)
Basically, they found out that serving an underserved market segment could prove to be insanely profitable. Which is why Dread Wolf was rebooted for a third time, to be an SP only game.
Single player RPGs have longer lives than FOTM zoomer mp games because their playerbase isnt conditioned by what is the current trend in twitch. I have a backlog of RPGs that I buy and play at my own pace regardless of release date or current dev support.
You don't understand. Dread Wolf isn't made, because EA believes in SP games. Because the monetization is limited. They like SP games, because, for a while, EA was the good guy. They want positive PR. They don't want to be viewed as a bad company. They want public support. They have cultivated a very bad picture for far too long, and they don't want it perpetuated. The fact that Fallen Order did that, while also generating a large amount of sales, and revenue, while not as much as EA would have wanted, was a good trade off, for them. So they're willing to let this game earn them good will, even if it bombs, because they know it's going to bomb regardless. But they also can't can it, because it will look bad in the face of investors. Even if it isn't a financial success, but it generates enough positive buzz, they are willing to take the hit.
The problem is that the studio tasked with achieving that, is current day Bioware. EA execs have no idea who they put up to achieve this. When it fails, Bioware will be rebranded as EA Edmonton, and will continue making games, including the next Mass Effect.

the director is a trannie. its dead before conception
It was dead from the moment, they took more than 5 years to release the sequel. Dragon Age is dead in the cultural zeitgeist. It has no relevance, or importance. The circumstantial "success" of Inquisition, was a one hit wonder, in spite of not selling any better than a game that was released to half the audience, with 1/3 the development time (DA2, in case you didn't get it). Dread Wolf is trending to be a flop. But maybe, EA hopes, it can at least generate some good will, if they don't try to nickel and dime every single one of their customers, for everything they are worth, with it.

EA has taken some steps into being less cancerous as of late, allowing DA to remain single player for one. they've also stopped forcing frostbite into all their studios, which was a significant factor in bioware's latest shortcomings. they had absolutely no tools for RPG development in frostbite while making DAI. Also the game had many cool features that were cut because ps3/xbox couldn't handle them.

>EA has taken some steps into being less cancerous as of late
Yeah. Also, my dick has grown by 15 inches, to a whopping 67 total.
Games cost hundreds of millions now (which no one asked for) so companies aren't ever going to make a risky game - and both space games and RPGs inherently are more risky than most games
Plus Mass Effect is so beloved and played still why bother - no company will best it in 2022; does anyone believe it can be topped now?
The next game will take place in Tevinter, an area that is nothing like Ferelden. Supposedly it's very flashy, with loads of lights and stuff. There will be a 12-year time jump from the events of Inquisition, but that has nothing to do with it.
Most likely not. The Inquisitor loses his arm, at the end of Tresspasser, and doesn't get it back. From what we know, we're getting yet another new protagonist. Dorian and Varric will return, unfortunately.
>Dorian and Varric will return, unfortunately

Varric was terrible in Inquisition and clearly the writing team has no idea what to do with him. Dorian's arc is that he is gay, and his dad doesn't want him to. Barely a character. It's just that everyone else was so much worse, that nobody else is worth bringing back, and at least Varric was there from the previous game. If anyone was worth a shit, was ... the guy. The dude with the generic name. Towerguy? Shield something? The fake warden.

In fact, the biggest problem that Inquisition has, is that, no matter the amount of choices of dialogue given to the character, they are all so fricking cringe and bad. Inquisitor is one of the worst protagonists I have ever had the displeasure of playing as, topped only by Ryder.

elaborate. I generally like Cassandra's character, so I have no idea what you mean by this, with your vague and substanceless claims.
To me, Cassandra is a fantastic character. She's a hardened warrior and tomboy who puts on a brave front, because she's embarrassed of her femininity, which thinks makes her weak. But once you get to know her, you realize she's a big softy and romantic who loves poetry and being treated and courted like a women in those old tales of chivalry.

I can't get behind Dorian. Not just because he's gonna grind his ass on my crotch, but I just can't bring myself to care for him. I preferred Zevran, to be honest, as far as gay Dragon Age characters go.
>i think the issues with inquisition were many but more concentrated on the gameplay (both the mobile style combat and the mmo gameplay loop)
While the gameplay was undoubtedly dogshit, in 30 hours of gameplay, I had not come across a single good line of dialogue, that felt remotely memorable. It's serviceable, but I wouldn't share a beer with any of the characters. I hated being around them, and there was nothing particular about them, to make me care. They were just some people, that happened to be there, and anyone else would have been just as well. In some cases, anyone else would have been better.

To me Inquisition felt more like the writers waving their pretentious bullshit pets around and expecting you to automatically be as invested into those characters as they personally were, little reason given for you to care.
Dialogue in older Bioware games (including Origins) usually took the player as a sort of plot vortex and had the characters react to you and your personal story (you're supposed to be the protagonist) more. It's more fanservicey, but honestly it made characters more interesting because it got them personally involved with your character, and it's also more fun and works better in a video game since the story is meant to be told from your perspective as the player.
Anonymous
I don't think being more engaging and interactive, is fanservicey. If anything, the Inquisitor felt like he was being led around by Josephine, or Leliana, or Cassandra, instead of actually getting to make real decisions, or taking any charge. The entire game felt like a series of fetch quests, which it largely was, but even the plot was locked from progressing, unless you did enough side stuff.

It looks like Disney Land in the back, with the Mary Poppins set in the foreground, to be honest.

Yeah, exactly. It feels more like someone taking you to a ride than your character actually having any agency. Everyone around you is some big shot and you're almost a blank slate with a muted backstory. It's like this is everyone else's story and you're just there to see what happens next.
>Varric will return, unfortunately.
why? I like Varric, but he doesn't need to be in every fricking game, saving the world. It just makes the world feel tiny and undeveloped if it's like 5 people traveling around the world saving it every few years.
he ends up without an arm, and he says "my fighting days are over", i think he could be a major character in dragon age 4, maybe some kind of mentor, or he will end up like the warden commander
Ideally they should keep the good aspects of the previous games >companions >roleplaying options other than dialogue such as DAI judgements >story & worldbuilding
and improve >reactivity to your choices/class/background >combat depth

I unironically wish DA:DW would play more like FF7R because it solves the issue of balancing between tactical and action combat. I'm prepared to feel disappointed when it isn't going to play like that at all.
Concept art is giving me some mixed signals. These lights and the square shoulders look like shit. And then you got pic related, being a somewhat reasonably looking fantasy party with serviceable environment.
i replayed it recently on pc, it's still fine, tho it needs some QoL improvements, not really a remake just something that makes it playable on modern PCs, it crashed constantly
i had to restrict the game to using one cpu core, i had to force the game to use directx9 and the modded 4gb exe patch was mandatory, it didn't crash anymore after all that but i also had to play it at 45 fps cause the cpu couldn't handle stable 60 with one core
I think the fall from DA:Origins to Inquisition can be best summarized by each games progressive lack of memorable or likable party members. Origins had a fantastic cast that people still talk about today, 2 had Varric and Anders (who is mostly hated, but still memorable) and 3 had...? Varric again?
>Origins had a fantastic cast that people still talk about today, 2 had Varric and Anders (who is mostly hated, but still memorable) and 3 had...?
this is your nostalgia goggles talking, DAO had some good companions and some shitdog boring ones such as oghren or wynne, same thing happened with DA2 and DAI >solas >blackwall >vivienne >dorian >cole
overall I would say DA2 had the most solid cast, ironically
Too bad DA2 shat the bed on literally every other front. >shit story >shit roleplaying >shit customization
The best thing about DA2 was when it ended because at least you didn't have to keep playing.
>shit story
I disagree, DA2 story felt refreshing for me, it was lower stakes and you didn't have to save the world yet again >shit customization
true, you had a defined background, but that had its positive part in that hawke had actual family members which is unheard of in most rpgs >shit roleplaying
about the same as DAO?
anyway, when you think EA forced bioware to shit out DA2 in literally like a year and a half it puts things into perspective and explains most of the flaws the game is infamous for, the lack of maps and the nonsense ending. originally the game was supposed to have different final bosses depending on if you were pro templar or pro mage and that got cut and showed in le crazy meredith in all paths
>shit story
What are you on about? The Arishok is one of the most memorable story arcs made, up there with the Bloody Baron.
Overall, DA2 has a great story. It was fumbled in the end with every mage being two seconds away from blood magic and the annoying finale where everything goes bonkers, but the setup was great and following a character instead of an event was a fun and creative take in a fantasy setting. The DLC with the magister dude was also excellent, something they completely pissed on and ruined in DAI.
The story and the combat were the two best aspects of DA2, which otherwise left a lot to be desired.
DA2 combat was an improved version of DAO combat, the issue was encounter design (the enemy waves). the awesome button was PR talk, faster paced and flashier animations, nothing more
>What are you on about? The Arishok is one of the most memorable story arcs made, up there with the Bloody Baron.
I remember neither. Granted, I only played the game 11 years ago, but frick me, I don't remember shit. Thane's recruitment mission, that came 9 months earlier, though, I remember the frick out of it. And I haven't touched a Mass Effect game, since ME3 came out.
>overall I would say DA2 had the most solid cast, ironically
I would say I at least remember them, but only because nearly all of them were so hateable, save for Varric and Aveline.
>shitdog boring ones such as oghren or wynne
Get to frick, Oghren was my bro. Wynne is whatever though.
To be honest, if Varric wasn't a returning character, I wouldn't even remember who he was, because he is so much worse, than in DA2. The only memorable one, is fake warden with generic name, that I don't remember. Which is not a compliment. What's his name? Papertowel. And you know who I am talking about. Like Benadryl Cabbagepatch.
>that logo
That logo for some reason that i can't properly explain just says to me that everything i have liked in the previous titles is going to be worse in this one.
They're going to pull a Bravely Default, and midway through the story Solas will success in pulling his shit and unleashing the Fade, changing the subtitle from Dreadwolf, to Fade World
dragon age origins introduced a polished, original fantasy rpg IP full of potential, with deep and beautiful lore and awesome gameplay. How the frick did they squander all of this in favor of cliche action rpg shitfest
Because Bioware officially died around 2007-2008. The company since then has been a walking corpse that just gets more and more diseased. Look at the directors and writers of this upcoming Dragon Age game and tell me with a straight face that it won't be an absolute trashfire.
Remember when Bioware actually let you be a massive butthole instead of a milquetoast moron that literally has no capability to argue against the writer's pets like that bald black b***h in Inquistion.

>gets proven wrong >I-i-irrelevant! >Jaws of Hakkon was PS exclusive day 1 DLC
You actually know so fricking little about this game.
You are unironically schizophrenic. >Jaws of Hakkon was initially released on Xbox One, and Windows PC through Origin on March 24, 2015.The DLC pack's timed-exclusive release for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows was part of a special deal between Microsoft and Electronic Arts, which generated some controversy: Inquisition executive producer Mark Darrah pleaded with fans of the PlayStation home video game console to be patient via his Twitter account, and BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn expressed hope that fans would not boycott Jaws of Hakkon following the pack's eventual release for other platforms due to the developer's exclusivity deal with Microsoft.Jaws of Hakkon was eventually released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360 on May 26, 2015.On July 6, 2015, Electronic Arts announced that future DLCs will not be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, making Jaws of Hakkon the only narrative DLC pack for Inquisition to be released in the aforementioned platforms.
One of those DLC was a time PS exclusive. Excuse me, if your game that nobody played, has people that don't remember things with 100% accuracy.

It's a testament to bad faith engagement that you would so confidently state something you have no knowledge about, that could be easily verified with a simple Google search.
But then again, you confidently stating things that are just wrong is pretty much all you.

I figured as much. Will it come out before or after the new Mass Effect game that also got announced? I did remember that one even tho it doesnt even have a logo
let's take a look at bioware's last few games and find out:
>anthem
>mass effect andromeda
>dragon age inquisition
>mass effect 3
>dragon age 2
As terrible as all of those games are, they still sold enough to keep the company in business. There's always people that are going to buy them.
The sales of a game depend more on the developer's reputation than the quality of that game. Most people are disillusioned with Bioware these days.
Yeah, by in general you mean women and snowflakes who never actually bought it, much less played it.
Is that Dragon Lance on the bottom?
>Most people are disillusioned with Bioware these days
That's what marketing is for. Month before launch you'll see an artificial hype campaign trying to impose the belief that "Bioware is back", appealing to DA:O and even ME1 nostalgia, etc. The result will be the complete removal of said disillusion from the vast majority of people, and in turn plenty of sales.
Also, if all else fails, a good anime by a good animation studio can salvage even the most broken turd pretending to be a game, as Cyberpunk as shown us all.
>a good anime by a good animation studio
DAII is basically already an anime, I'd watch that if they made it.
anthem was a big enough failure that they shut down all the updates and especially the big 2.0 relaunch
does that have anything to do with OP?
Anthem was a colossal failure that couldn't even get it's revamp finished.
Andromeda was made by cosplayers and random people off the street who had never developed anything in their lives and killed any goodwill the ME series had left.
Between DAI, ME3 and DA2 Bioware lost most of their senior staff, the remaining 2 original founders of the company, and made the company a constant joke on the internet.
I remember watching Zero Punctuation like a decade ago and him reviewing a BioWare game. He said something like:
>"of and it's well written, but it's BioWare, so of course it's well written, they don't get points for that anymore"
He said it in jest, but if only we knew how much we took for granted back then.
Seems to me there is a high chance DA4 will suck and Bioware gets the EA chopping block treatment
Optimistic, Dragon Age still seems to be largely liked in the cultural zeitgeist despite the missteps, I think even if it's bad it'll still sell just for the name, it would take two frickups in a row to truly kill Bioware.
>anthem
>mass effect andromeda
>dragon age inquisition
these definitely didnt, and bioware only survived on their reputation still meaning something and EA not being able to decapitate ALL their named studios.
dragon age stopped being about the original dragon age concept after origins.
non-sequitur
Turns out people are fricking moronic and have no taste, the final blackpill is that quality does not matter and never has, all you need is advertising and the homosexual masses will gobble up literally anything.
The studio that made Andromeda had 90% of its staff laid off before the game even launched the rest weeks after.
I love Mass Effect 3.
Mass Effect 3 and Inquisition were good though.
Mass effect 3 multiplayer is the only good game bioware has ever made
Mass Effect 3 and Inquisition are fundamentally flawed games.
I'm convinced that only MMO players think Inquisition was good. How much WoW did you play?
I play a frick ton of WoW and even I think Inquisition is dogshit.
Played lots of WoW. Inquisition is awful.
Inquisition was okay, but god damn is it terrible on a replay.
Inquisition and ME3 are both 50% good and 50% awful EA shit.
homie, I couldn't get past the tutorial in DA:O, because I suck at those games. I died 0 times in Inquisition whilst being an immortal tank.
Cant imagine how fans of the series would think about the gameplay
I honestly didn't even notice that Anthem got released
Anthem is out?
It didn't even flop, it just came and went
anthem came out almost 4 years ago
WHAT THE FRICK
It flopped, got panned generally, and was forgotten about 2 days after release. Its been so long since then I thought Bioware FINALLY ate shit and died but it seems they've been given one last chance (god I hope)
bump
>anthem
Lmao
>mass effect andromeda
Ok game, awful ME game
>dragon age inquisition
Good
>mass effect 3
I hate it but it's good
>dragon age 2
I love it but it's painfully unfinished. I wish they'd remake DAO and this one, especially this one and put on all the missing content like the orsino/Meredith final boss split. I've been playing modern crpgs recently and I sorely missed the customisable tactics this games had.
About the next dragon age, I'm cautiously optimistic since it's confirmed single player and EA is not rushing them to shit it out as fast as possible, I guess we can thank cyberpunk for that.
Your taste is, quite frankly, Black personish.
Disgusting.
Right on. DA2 was a disappointment not because of what it was, but because of what it could have been. And the tactics setup was great.
Inquisition won GOTY.
ME3 was okay.
But you are right on the other games.
>Inquisition won GOTY.
damn that year must've been fricking shit.
>Inquisition won GOTY
I mean ... it was still shit and people were literally in the honeymoon period, when it won it. The game was out for less than 2 weeks, when it won the award, ffs.
Dragon Age Inquisition is pretty good though. Not as good as Origins but I still played it 3 times.
>The mandatory 14y old edgelord post
Well done, anon.
?
holy fricking cope
What a travesty of a studio
Bioware means beyond shit tier quality now. Sadly Anthem was the one game that they could have made awesome but they failed. Anthem is the one game I wanted to succeed but I knew before it even came out that it was destined to fail because Bioware cannot make games. They suck
Don't forget cyberpunk
thats Bethesda you dumb frick
It's Obsidian you shitters
3/5 of those games are good though
So this is the power of Bioware eh? Not bad, not bad
It's not even going to come out.
Yes, just like all Dragon Age games past the first one.
Everything that they shared about this game looks absolutely dreadful, especially the logo - they even got rid of the dragon motive
plus, the game already has an animal in the title. "dragon"
so why did they put "wolf" in there too? this is a nitpick, but i think it goes to show how off the mark they already are with this game. when the title is atrocious and lacking in sense, you know the entire game will too.
>so why did they put "wolf" in there too?
Because Solas is the villain you fricking tool.
Who?
The homosexual elf from Inquisition all girls love and write fanfics/smut about
Again, who?
I don't understand egghead enjoyers.
Fenris is clearly the superior elf.
yeah i mean ofcourse the subtitle has something to do with the plot.
but the title sucks ass
So what the frick do you call it then?
Tevinter Nights?
Already taken and that was a bad joke in the first place
im not the one making the game. i have no clue what the plot is, but i certainly wouldnt put an animal or creature in the subtitle when the name of the game already has one in it.
So you don't play these games and are just here playing the master marketer, good to know.
lmfao we got a bioware fan here
>Be a mouthbreather
>Get exposed
>uhhhhhh it's bioware fans
This garbage company has never made a single good game but you're an even lower kind of subhuman
>This garbage company has never made a single good game
??? Are you genuinely moronic?
ok bro you're right. im moronic for critiquing the horrible title without ever playing the game that isnt even out yet.
Only a Bioware shill would be defending them at this point.
I defend anyone or anything worth defending if somebody's in blatantly the wrong.
blatantly wrong about what, homosexual? that the title sucks? if you think it's cool or good you have no taste.
Bioware is worth defending? Bullshit. They have always been overrated, and since their acquisition by EA they haven't produced a single thing to show they are "worth defending".
>I'm a shill
OK, israelitel.
Honestly, I couldn't give a shit about Solas, so I'm already turned off by a game that is all about him no matter what they name it.
>Honestly, I couldn't give a shit about Solas
Not even to punch him in his smug face a second time?
Who is Solas?
Joke wasnt funny the first time.
In brief, he is the Dread Wolf, he fought the false elven gods, created the veil and destroyed his people.
He intends to restore them, most likely destroying the world.
Also The Inquisitor's mark is getting worse.
Ultimately none other than Solas could've borne the mark and lived.
What?
Bro are you ok?
Yeah, I'm fine. I just don't remember any of that.
Did any of it happen in the game? Were we involved?
Just stop posting.
Why? What's the matter?
Inquisition poster, the art director said they purposely made the design so it could be interpreted as both male and female at the same time.
It just reads man to me
Just giving you verbatim what the art director said of the choice of poster to represent the game.
Well duh, now it's all about that b***h-ass elf homosexual. Obviously going to be so much better
quite literally yes your chraacter will be sucking man ass no doubt
Yes. As much as I loved DA: O and Mass Effect, Bioware is dead and the gameplay/stories are mediocre and hardly worth finishing.
>In-game content locked behind a mobile phone app
I hate normies so fricking much.
>I hate normies so fricking much.
direct that hatered towards EA. theyre the ones doing that. no normie downloaded those apps.
Wtf was locked behind these?
dragon age was born and died with the first game.
What do you think really?
>bioware
>lefunnyfacebookfrog
Dragon Age and Mass Effect games have always been Reddit pieces of shit games. You can’t prove me wrong.
Out of all those games maybe Origins and ME2 were close to being passable.
yeap...MA2 was bearable simply because the combat was decent and fun for its time.
>ME2
>not reddit
This. DAO and ME2 were peak Bioware for different reasons. Every other one of their games is either mediocre shlock or outright terrible.
>It's going to suck major ass, won't it?
It's a Dragon Age game. Sucking ass is a series tradition. Even the first game is a mediocre interpretation of Baldur's Gate II.
bioware hasn't made a good game since the baldur's gate series
>dragon age as a series has always used red as the primary color of its advertising
>suddenly neon zoom purple
Why can’t companies into consistency?
Companies now think everything needs to be neon purple, because they got some weird idea that this is what the kids are into, even though no one ever said that
>we want the troony audience
not saying purple is a troony color but it is bioware were talking about. Pandering is what they do
it reminded me so much of the saints row logo. you can bet its because this is some nefarious marketing scheme where they found this certain shade of purple and neon fired up zoomers dopamine receptors.
>dragon age as a series has always used red as the primary color of its advertising
they already abandoned in Inquisition
It looked absolutely terrible, though.
You right, I don’t like dragon age so I didn’t know this one decided to be green.
That's just bisexual lighting.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisexual_lighting
ಠ_ಠ
Shouldn't they be using homosexual lighting then, since it's about an elf?
wasn't it green in inquisition?
yes, it was. it referenced the fade world aesthetic which was noticeably green
Needs to be purple to coast on the popularity of Cyberpunk bro.
Every DA game has sucked major ass. Why would this one be different?
Gayder is gone, so there is hope
He was gay but his writing on main quest stuff was pretty solid
He is the main reason things took the direction they did
Didn't they hire a literal troony as the new project lead?...
when can we stop pretending that dao is better than da2? literally the only "better" part was the origin itself
go flip some maps, homosexual
what does this even mean? is this referencing the meme that dragon 2 reuses assets (just like dragon age)
i want nothing but more dwarf content, everyone else can get fricked, no more fricking ugly elves frick you gaydar
A medieval fantasy game with a logo on a purple background is not a good sign.
It won't be DA:O 2 so it will be utter shit.
Trespasser was good
this
It almost gave me hope for DA4 because it reminded me of Origins so much
I wish Inquisition was more like Trespasser than whatever unholy abomination that was the main game
I liked Inquisition, it has it's faults but I still had fun
Who?
Bioware was only good when the games weren't designed by pretentious buttholes who believe they are writing literary masterpieces in which your role in the as a player and your fun are less important than their conceited farts and pet characters.
as if it's ever going to come out
2024
I dread it.
Which makes the game's title, rather fitting.
fricking dreadwolf
more like
dreadgame
i've always been a huge fan of dragon age, this is going to finish me off for good, i just know it
Hasn't it already been scrapped twice?

>This is why it is useless to argue with someone as mentally ill as you, I don't know if you are intentionally lying or if you are just so brain dead you forgot.
>DA:I has been reported to sell as well as DA2 in the FIRST week.
Sp the narrative is that it sold better in the next weeks? Which means it should have charted in December 2014, right?
https://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2015/01/15/december-2014-npd-call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-leads-the-month-and-year.aspx
WHERE. THE. FRICK. IS. IT?
Inquisition NEVER charted.
Or are you arguing that 400k was DA2's lifetime sales? What are you arguing?
>Sp the narrative is that it sold better in the next weeks?
No, you fricking moron. All that means is that in the UK, it sold as many as 2.
In the UK, but you try and claim that it sold as well as DA2 throughout it's lifetime, which you have no evidence for.
>Inquisition NEVER charted.
And yet, it was the best selling RPG of the year!
Wow!
But of course you're going to say "uh well that doesn't mean anything because it didn't have any competition!" which is, again, you just speculating.
>What are you arguing?
Against you spreading your unfounded, mentally ill, misinformation that Inquisition was a commercial failure since you have NO evidence for it, and all you can do is just say "well, if we take this thing to be true (even though it's a boldfaced lie) then of course Inquisition (the game that 2 sources have claimed was successful, and was able to get 3 major DLCs) was a flop!"
>No, you fricking moron. All that means is that in the UK, it sold as many as 2.
Not a success and definitely not Bioware's best launch.
>In the UK, but you try and claim that it sold as well as DA2 throughout it's lifetime, which you have no evidence for.
>Against you spreading your unfounded, mentally ill, misinformation that Inquisition was a commercial failure
It was, and the NPD proves it.
>Not a success and definitely not Bioware's best launch.
You know what they say, facts don't care about your feelings.
>It is fair to assume similar market performance, of a similarly received product.
And what do you base that on?
>Yes. In a competition pool of 1.
Really, there was only 1 other RPG released that year?
>It was, and the NPD proves it.
Answer me this, anon.
Is the only way for a game to be a commercial success to be on the NPD list?
>You know what they say, facts don't care about your feelings
It's not my problem you became addicted to EA's cool aid.
And there you go, ignoring the rest because you know you have no evidence for any of your positions.
You really should get some help you mentally ill freak.
Still not my problem, Biodrone.
You know what would have been great to prove someone wrong? Actual numbers.
>You know what would have been great to prove someone wrong? Actual numbers.
>There is nothing I can post that would ever make someone as mentally handicapped as you change their positions.
>Why would I waste my time
Thanks for playing.
I accept your admission of defeat.
I played about 30 mins of Inquisition before uninstalling. Thankfully I got it in the bargain bin.
same I bought the game for 8 bucks and still think I've paid too much.
You might as well set fire to your money if you're gonna get this pile of shit
Frick EA and Frick Bioware
>Purple neon
Let me romance her (or any other qt dwarf) and I will buy your game.
Simple as.
But then you'd be a PeDoPhIlE
Gayder is out, so dwarf romance may be a thing, since he was the one who insisted that dwarf romance is pedophilia
>dwarf romance is pedophilia
what the frick is wrong with homosexuals and their stupid brains holy shit
Pedos project their insecurities about being found out as pedos onto other completely unrelated things.
>having a giant bull mam ravish your bussy is fine
>wanting to romance a short woman though is wrong
Its homosexual logic.
>Is this game going to be terrible
LOOK AT THE DEVELOPERS
FIND A PICTURE
Therein lies your answer
It's fricking FOOLPROOF
I'll NEVER forgive Bioware of the disappointment that was Inquisition. I waited like 7 years to play to make sure I was emotionally capable. All the feelings and experiences of playing mass effect and dragon age when I was like 15. Total fricking garbage
Cisquisition was/is unplayable garbage. No hope for this shit.
It will be the game that will finally bankrupt Bioware
After all the failures they can't take a single wrong step
I just can't wait for the memes.
Will the new game allow me to fight the female dominated church?
absolutely
>Two directors and producers left ,several staff members also left mid production
>New director is a troony
It'll probably be GOTY, but we know why.
dragon age has been complete dogshit since the end credits of origin. how the frick does this series continue to get made when 2/3rds of it is trash
Everyone still plays hoping 90s/early 00s Bioware is magically coming back even though it's not even the same people working there
It's just amazing to me how long a company can coast off of previous good will and audience copium. Blizzard is the exact same way
I hated DA2 and didn't play inquisition but I think the Hamburger Helper thing was overblown.
As I said. Neopotism or the cheesy-stenched ham-flavoured sex.
Hamburger Hepler was a sign of how out of touch Bioware was/is. That they would hire someone with those opinions, that low of skill and that lack of interest is a sign that they are fricked up as a company.
Is it going the same bland shitty protagonist of Inquisition?
>bioware
Did you even have to fricking ask
will be in line with the other games then
my taste > your taste
>the only company to ever give us a comfy space opera
>in like 20 years
How? Why does no one else dare touch this genre?
They think it won't sell in the current climate. They tried to adapt it and Andromeda was the result. Also what studio do you think is even capable of making a space opera RPG anymore?
All high-profile developers are now owned by a handful of corporations that all command them to churn out the next battle royale game no one ever asked for
And those handfull of corporations are all owned by israelites. Who's hobby is loxism.
I don't get it either. Outside of Mass Effect and Star Wars, these games simply don't get made. Why is that?..
They tried it with Star Trek and look how it turned out.
Obsidian gave us the danger hair saga and Bethesda is currently making their own
Only Bethesda can deliver impossible games no one else makes
You mean only Bethesda can make garbage that people will still buy and even argue that having to finish the game yourself is a good thing
It costs too much to make a AAA single-player story-driven RPG nowadays. Multiplayer live service games riddled with microtransactions are what the studios want because the margins are so much better.
We've now passed the peak of video games as an art form (1995-2013)
EA itself discovered that wasn't the case with that single player star wars game
When it fails, Bioware will be rebranded as EA Edmonton, and will continue making games, including the next Mass Effect.
>for a while, EA was the good guy
When? They've always been shitters. They make a couple of good games but it has always been despite EA.
>When?
When they released Jedi: Fallen Order.
But maybe, EA hopes, it can at least generate some good will, if they don't try to nickel and dime every single one of their customers, for everything they are worth, with it.
the director is a trannie. its dead before conception
Yeah. Also, my dick has grown by 15 inches, to a whopping 67 total.
good 4u anon
Games cost hundreds of millions now (which no one asked for) so companies aren't ever going to make a risky game - and both space games and RPGs inherently are more risky than most games
Plus Mass Effect is so beloved and played still why bother - no company will best it in 2022; does anyone believe it can be topped now?
>How? Why does no one else dare touch this genre?
Starfield?
I don't know about that font choice.
How many delays do you guys expect Dread Wolf will get? Jeff Grubb already said the game isn't coming before Q3 2023. Can it spill into 2025?
>make game in fantasy world
>set in blood sacrifice and slavery kingdom
>go for cyberpunk visuals
????
I'm so completely tired of ugly man-jawed negresses depicted by talentless corpo artists.
I don't know what they're aiming for. They could have done anything with the series and they choose this shit. What even is this? A time jump?
The next game will take place in Tevinter, an area that is nothing like Ferelden. Supposedly it's very flashy, with loads of lights and stuff. There will be a 12-year time jump from the events of Inquisition, but that has nothing to do with it.
Is it the same protagonist as inquisition though?
Most likely not. The Inquisitor loses his arm, at the end of Tresspasser, and doesn't get it back. From what we know, we're getting yet another new protagonist. Dorian and Varric will return, unfortunately.
>Dorian and Varric will return, unfortunately
varric was a good character, even dorian was kind of a good character i think
Varric was terrible in Inquisition and clearly the writing team has no idea what to do with him. Dorian's arc is that he is gay, and his dad doesn't want him to. Barely a character. It's just that everyone else was so much worse, that nobody else is worth bringing back, and at least Varric was there from the previous game. If anyone was worth a shit, was ... the guy. The dude with the generic name. Towerguy? Shield something? The fake warden.
> Dorian's arc is that he is gay, and his dad doesn't want him to
i dunno, i liked varric, and that's true that little mission with dorian was cringe, but overall he's a decent character, that mission was probably only 5% of the the total interactions with him
> The fake warden.
blackwall, yes he was a pretty decent character too
i think the issues with inquisition were many but more concentrated on the gameplay (both the mobile style combat and the mmo gameplay loop)
Cassandra and Blackwall were nice
>Cassandra
Cassandra was cringe. Pure fedora bait. Made with enlightened gentlemen in mind. The dialogue options provided to the Inquisitor, when talking to her, made me want to kill myself.
In fact, the biggest problem that Inquisition has, is that, no matter the amount of choices of dialogue given to the character, they are all so fricking cringe and bad. Inquisitor is one of the worst protagonists I have ever had the displeasure of playing as, topped only by Ryder.
there are good dialogue options
>Cassandra was cringe. Pure fedora bait. Made with enlightened gentlemen in mind.
>Dorian and Varric will return, unfortunately.
Honestly, they were among the least insufferable companions in Inquisition, even if Dorian is a self-insert. Hoping the Bull and Sera won't be back.
Sera will definitely not be back.
It just makes the world feel tiny and undeveloped if it's like 5 people traveling around the world saving it every few years.
probably not
he ends up without an arm, and he says "my fighting days are over", i think he could be a major character in dragon age 4, maybe some kind of mentor, or he will end up like the warden commander
What the frick am I looking at. This looks like art for a mobile game
this is the actual screenshot
you rike it?
not bad
this i the other tevinter screenshot
i don't know what to except from this game
Ideally they should keep the good aspects of the previous games
>companions
>roleplaying options other than dialogue such as DAI judgements
>story & worldbuilding
and improve
>reactivity to your choices/class/background
>combat depth
the combat needs a complete rework, the combat system from inquisition was worse than dragon age 2
I hope they will improve it. Since the last time they released a game, the "hardcore" soulslike games have drastically risen in popularity and now it's cool to have "hard" games with character build variety and somewhat deep mechanics. Also they won't be hindered by having a multiplayer attached.
The lighting there looks better, though it's drastically different in mood. Pretty hard to know what exactly they're going for.
>i swear to fricking god you dumb mage b***h put that fire out before they see us
the lights and shit fit imo since tevinter is ruled by mages and is not ashamed of displaying magic in public like the cucked southern countries are
just remake origins and dont touch the script there i printed money for you i dont expect anything good from bioware ever
its still decent game, replayed it in 2020
i replayed it recently on pc, it's still fine, tho it needs some QoL improvements, not really a remake just something that makes it playable on modern PCs, it crashed constantly
i had to restrict the game to using one cpu core, i had to force the game to use directx9 and the modded 4gb exe patch was mandatory, it didn't crash anymore after all that but i also had to play it at 45 fps cause the cpu couldn't handle stable 60 with one core
I just seriously hope they don't bring back Leliana
I think the fall from DA:Origins to Inquisition can be best summarized by each games progressive lack of memorable or likable party members. Origins had a fantastic cast that people still talk about today, 2 had Varric and Anders (who is mostly hated, but still memorable) and 3 had...? Varric again?
>Origins had a fantastic cast that people still talk about today, 2 had Varric and Anders (who is mostly hated, but still memorable) and 3 had...?
this is your nostalgia goggles talking, DAO had some good companions and some shitdog boring ones such as oghren or wynne, same thing happened with DA2 and DAI
>solas
>blackwall
>vivienne
>dorian
>cole
overall I would say DA2 had the most solid cast, ironically
Too bad DA2 shat the bed on literally every other front.
>shit story
>shit roleplaying
>shit customization
The best thing about DA2 was when it ended because at least you didn't have to keep playing.
>shit story
I disagree, DA2 story felt refreshing for me, it was lower stakes and you didn't have to save the world yet again
>shit customization
true, you had a defined background, but that had its positive part in that hawke had actual family members which is unheard of in most rpgs
>shit roleplaying
about the same as DAO?
anyway, when you think EA forced bioware to shit out DA2 in literally like a year and a half it puts things into perspective and explains most of the flaws the game is infamous for, the lack of maps and the nonsense ending. originally the game was supposed to have different final bosses depending on if you were pro templar or pro mage and that got cut and showed in le crazy meredith in all paths
>The Arishok is one of the most memorable story arcs made, up there with the Bloody Baron.
You DAgays are delusional.
>combat […] best aspect of DA2
Hmm
Terrible taste, not only praising the story clusterfrick but also the [AWESOME] button combat too.
>Wynne is whatever though.
>Not wanting granny Wynne to knit back the broken condom you fricked her with
ISHYGIDIGY
>ISHYGIDIGY
I seriously hope you guys I don't I guys you?
I shiggy diggy
To be honest, if Varric wasn't a returning character, I wouldn't even remember who he was, because he is so much worse, than in DA2. The only memorable one, is fake warden with generic name, that I don't remember. Which is not a compliment. What's his name? Papertowel. And you know who I am talking about. Like Benadryl Cabbagepatch.
>purple
I don't even need to look at the game to know for certainty it's going to be awful.
Purple can be done well
It can, but purple + that title cannot be redeemed.
Leliana is Liara of Dragon Age
Yep, copy-pasted in some ways, even the whole spy thing
Grey Wardens are Spectres
Darkspawn/Archdemon are Geth/Reapers
>that logo
That logo for some reason that i can't properly explain just says to me that everything i have liked in the previous titles is going to be worse in this one.
At best it will be bland and boring like inquisition. The only good part of that game was a single dlc ffs
>Bioware
More than likely
what if they ditch EA?
That's not how it works
never forget
Anders did nothing wrong
He was gay
at least he wasn't a troony q
Killing templars and chantry members isnt murder. Its a service to humanity.
The name feels like it’s going to scale down like how they did 2
Dreadwolf sounds like a project they decided sounded cool enough to be the name of the main game. It’s going to be shit
The original idea was to call it Dread Wolf Rises/Rising
They're going to pull a Bravely Default, and midway through the story Solas will success in pulling his shit and unleashing the Fade, changing the subtitle from Dreadwolf, to Fade World
When is this even coming out? Feels like its been teased for years
It'll come out before ES6 at least.
2024.
It's been teased since 2018, announced in 2016.
I'm sure it will be great.
>muh bloody baron
You can pretty immediately assume anyone who mentions this is a zoomer
Trespasser was good, and they backed out of both multiplayer and GAAS, so I have hope
Yes, it will fail so bad that microsoft will swoop into purchase, just before it legally goes to a chapter 11 bankruptcy.
seeing as Dragon Age was never good, there is literally no hope
What else do you need to know?
She looks kinda cute
(s)he looks like a israeli pronz director.
I'd let her go into my bathroom if you know what I mean
LMAO yea game is DOA.
what a weird reality we live in. It truly is no longer about making money or appeasing to the masses.
>READWOLF
Yes. What a stupid ass question.
dragon age origins introduced a polished, original fantasy rpg IP full of potential, with deep and beautiful lore and awesome gameplay. How the frick did they squander all of this in favor of cliche action rpg shitfest
Because Bioware officially died around 2007-2008. The company since then has been a walking corpse that just gets more and more diseased. Look at the directors and writers of this upcoming Dragon Age game and tell me with a straight face that it won't be an absolute trashfire.
just look at that logo
Remember when Bioware actually let you be a massive butthole instead of a milquetoast moron that literally has no capability to argue against the writer's pets like that bald black b***h in Inquistion.
Go read about the development history behind this project. It'll be incredible if it even results in an actual game at this point.

Further testament of its failure.

It's a testament to bad faith engagement that you would so confidently state something you have no knowledge about, that could be easily verified with a simple Google search.
But then again, you confidently stating things that are just wrong is pretty much all you.

Again, not my problem you got addicted to the EA/Bioware cool aid.

I tried to humour you, but the DLCs are irrelevant to the argument you are trying to make.
Do you know how to read numbers?
>I tried to humour you
Oh, you don't have to do that.
I already know you're a fricking moron.
>but the DLCs are irrelevant to the argument you are trying to make.
No they're not.
>No they're not.
Great. Then those DLCs should provide you with Inquisition sales numbers.
Post them.
See how you are trying to pivot again?
Numbers. Now.
Asked and answered.
Post them again. Here.
I've already answered your question about numbers, and I've already stated your intentions with regards to focusing on them so much.
But as we all know, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
>I've already answered your question about numbers
Link me to them.
It's not my fault if you suffer from memory problems.
Humour me. It's a simple request.
Because so far, it looks like you can't reference them, you can't post them, and you can't link them, because NOWHERE in this entire thread have you posted a NUMBER of COPIES SOLD by DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION.
>It's a simple request.
Again, asked and answered.
>Because so far, it looks like you can't reference them, you can't post them, and you can't link them
See above.
>because NOWHERE in this entire thread have you posted a NUMBER of COPIES SOLD by DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION.
Probably because that number doesn't exist.
>Again, asked and answered.

What is Bioware's gimmick at this point when everyone and their mother is giving you romance choices in their games?
making shitty broken pozzed games
Just like Dragons Dogma 2
I completely forgot this game was announced
You should forget about it again since it's not coming out for a while
I figured as much. Will it come out before or after the new Mass Effect game that also got announced? I did remember that one even tho it doesnt even have a logo
If I had to guess, probably after.
Here is my predicition

I had a lot of fun playing a female elf mage in inquisition and being triggered by microaggressions. I can definitely see the appeal.
