It’s not a TM anymore so the majority of Pokémon lost it. The only ones how have it are those who have it as level up, Volcanion and possibly CHARIZARD (haven’t checked but knowing game freak they must have added it the CHARIZARD’s level up moves)
You can’t transfer moves anymore, so any move you want it has to be learned in game, and the only thing that learns Scald is Volcanion.

Scald being effectively Dexited has unironically done more to combat luck based (aka uncompetitive) elements than Smogon has done for years. Before the only safe switch into Bulky waters were Water Immune Pokemon, Burn Immune Pokemon (of course not most Fire types), and Magic Guard Pokemon. This is because literally anything else always had the chance to be burned, which could entirely ruin tons of Pokemon.

Nah. It will just run Surf+Toxic instead of Scald+Knock Off. Recover and Haze are pretty much mandatory.

Are we sure Home transfers will remove movesets? I thought that was a Centro rumor
