I think they were pushing for salamence and gallade/gardevior to be the stand out designs for each group. Which is too bad, theres so many interesting directions they could’ve gone with hydreigon.

Hydreigon doesn't need much improvement. And the fact that that the heads, frills and other purple parts are led displays is soulful
