What epic meme? It is the line she says the most by far throughout the game and it's tied to her primary action the game is actively encouraging you to do constantly.

Ive seen a lot of people ask for Marina to gain an american version like other characters in the game have.
Why doesn't she use the English clips by default? Sonic does, seems like a purposefully unbalanced approach. But even then, at least commit to it, don't do this shitty taunt button cameo of a single line from a completely different actor.
I guess it was agreed they preferred the Japanese voice lines over English, "Shake Shake!" is god tier though.

nope, but my best guess that it wasn't "competitive friendly" or some other lame excuse, which is bullshit considering the old version of the cool cool mountain stage is still in, and that one is so poorly designed the CPUs just keep throwing themselves off the stage

Oh for real! I loved how they brought Marina into anything Smash, didn't thought it would ever happen due to the obscurity of the character and game but man I am so glad they did, alongside backporting Mewtwo which is my main overall!

sonic dominated the meta for a while until he was sorta figured out but he ran laps around other characters
so they gotta figure out a way to balance the veterans, they already have different versions of the characters like JP ness or PAL link, so why not a remix version of em?
