I don't want it to be over until Warhammer 3 is made the best it can be, and a Medieval 3 and Empire 2 are made which surpass their predecessors in every way. 40k total war can rot in hell for all I care because 40k is only barely above age of sigmar in quality anyway.
It's gonna be really fucking funny when they have to end the worst six months in their studio's history by delaying ToD into next year. Warhammer paypigs are genuinely the only thing they have left and their trust is already paper thin after SoC.
I wish I could share your optimism, but it's far more likely that the delay is directly caused by the internal turmoil from Hyenas. Do you really think CA (who only a couple weeks ago was banning anyone on their forums who said anything bad about the game and dropped a sticky saying "having an opinion on our games is a privilege, not a right") just had a meeting and said "okay actually, players aren't happy, I know we're $100m in the red after Hyenas but how about we delay ToD a month or two so we can triple the amount of content in it and try to win back some goodwill"?
It's the only chance for this shit to turn around. They did start releasing hotfixes at last, so clearly there's been some attempt at change, even if it's not much. Once ToD is actually out we'll see for sure.
Half ass a 40k total war because unlike the fantasy players the 40k community would actually accept a Shadows of Change quality and content DLC for even higher of an asking price than SoC has.
Then probably use that infinite money printer to work on something else.
Bold of you to assume they have a plan. This is the studio that spent 6 years and $100M+ on developing a game just to abort it a a few months before its planned release.
CA are fucked and everyone there knows it. They are just riding it out while they're still on the payroll.
>Warhammer paypigs are genuinely the only thing they have left and their trust is already paper thin after SoC.
Can we trust Warhammer paypigs to actually vote with their wallet though? They'll still buy it, they'll just complain the entire time they buy it, or at worst just wait for the first sale
Community goodwill was the highest after wh2. They kept eroding it with shitty patches, shitty ideas and overpriced dlc until soc broke the camel's back.
Honestly CA could get back a lot of good will if they stated that the WH2 DLC team was being put in charge of fixing WH3. They may even get a grace period if they say that they need time to fix it.
All new lore, units, and visual designs for both Cathay and Kislev are handled entirely by Games Workshop. The Vampire Coast was the sole CA original in the setting.
Cathay ruined TWW3, I wanted to see the classic factions and got Chinks everywhere instead
It can't get any more dumbed down than the literally-cannot-lose Changeling, but I agree the Harmony system should have been improved, not gutted to hell and made nearly inconsequential. I don't know why CA is so afraid of having systems that punish the player for doing badly or not engaging with it.
how so?
only the stupid harmony system got changed in the last update and its now easier to handle than before. the dlc new units for cathay are from, what i have seen, actually good. cathay probably got a better tweak than the other factions in soc.

I'd like at least two more LLs, a melee hero, and a mercenary system/diplomacy for the Ogre Kingdoms before this game dies, that's my literal dream. Using a faction unlocker and playing as the Sharktooth tribe and whoring myself out to whoever I think will win or want to win the Lustriabowl was the most fun I ever had with Warhammer 3.
This is what I never understood about the total wargames, why not just unlock all the factions without mods? Why can't I try surviving as shitty generic faction #30 who gets wiped out in 3 turns? What if I want a challenge?
Belakor is fun and I like simultaneous turns in Co-Op but enemy AI is too shit and it just gets ridiculous at some point. Last game I played Karl Franz got renamed 'Karl' and kept suiciding into my army. Game before that enemy ships kept staying in attrition territory when I was Noctilus and it was easy to clean them up. I always play on VH/VH or legendary. Think I'll uninstall it and play WH2 or maybe try some mods.
>it's over >c'est fini >es ist aus >se acabó >вce кoнчeнo >終わり だ
it's been "over" ever since the important people at CA left, and they starting working on Empire with that shitty engine that can't even do what Rome 1 was capable of in 2004
I liked this game. And the TW series.
I don't fucking want it to be over like this.
Get your shit together CA.

A delay is just good news at this point because it means there's a chance they're aware they can't release substandard slop anymore.

Real question is what do they intend to do after Warhammer trilogy is finished and they've pumped out all the DLC. Get another property?

Reminder that CA DLC prices are still cheaper than tabletop. By a lot.
Pixels should be cheaper than actual physical models, obviously.
Cool it with the antisemitism anon.
Develop Med3 while smaller studios keep remastering other titles.

we don't have any hard numbers but SoC seems to have sold worse than previous DLCs
The trust been paper thin since WH2.
They wont do shit though despite the DLC being easily pirateable. Paypig fuckin cucks

CA ruined Cathay
fuck them
it wasnt CA propbobly it was most likely GW
I'm talking about latest dlc dumbed down Cathay
It's the only dlc I haven't touched, so I have no idea of the state of the game right now

the harmony system made cathay feel unique
now it's shit
>the harmony system made cathay feel unique
No amount of finnicky shit will make Cathay feel unique (or Kislev's bears + glowing for that matter)
I didn't want easier to handle. Now it's just
>oh massa you want bonuses or extra bonuses?
Cathay was barely a thing before WH3

classic factions like?
more like kislev. everyone is a sleeveless brick shithouse riding a bear.
Did something new happen or is this the same over its been since the official cancellation of Hyenas and the layoffs?
1000 clowns
Don't worry fantasytards you guys will get replaced by the 40kfags when they drop that game
You can finally feel how the historychads felt
Who's your never ever, Ganker?
Malal
Moonclaw
NO VOICE IN MY EAR BUT THE MAW
I guess you could call yourself a golgfag

I feel your pain, Ogrebro
You're gonna have the Ogre Kingdoms without Golgfag? Thinling nonsense
>-fag in the name
Golly gee I wonder why he wasn't included
Skaven have a generic lord called Mechanagger that shows up all the time.
The entirety of Khuresh, otherwise it's Golgfag
Nippon as a whole. We'll never get it but a man can dream.
Neferata is only never-ever in that there won't be any more DLC but there's a mod for her at least
Nippon and Ind.
QRD?
