You open the gates after talking to zevlor and minthara sends her goons to clear them out, you can literally complete it by standing by and letting her and gobs do all the work, don't tell me you're trying to fight the entire Grove manually?
He probably means he's playing with the "if someone dies they die for good no revives or save scummin" which bravo I command you for but if you let that happen to gale you literally have to start completely over because of his unique death interactions so you should probably play it like baldurs gate 3.
>but if you let that happen to gale you literally have to start completely over
found this out the hard way last night. Sacrificed him to Booal cause I've not used him much in any playthrough and I'm doing Durge right now. Two long rests after and he gameovers me and I have to reload a save from 2 hours prior. Overall it was pretty funny that this can happen at all. I enjoy consequences in games from your actions having meaning, so I wasn't even mad just more bummed lol.
Did you do everything else? You should be fine either way. Go to the swamp and the fist outpost town. And you can go to the underdark without triggering the game to move into act 2 just don't go to the mountain pass until you're ready to move on.
There are many quests you just don't know where they are, there are also several optional fights which if you take you should easily be lvl 5 before even hitting the underdark.
I'm lvl 6 and a half right now and I'm entering the temple before the crech. Game gives you tons of places in act 1 at least to level up. I've done all the underdark that I'm aware of except the arcane place. I just now remembered that but I don't think there's any quests or anything that leads you there or that you get from there unless I'm wrong. Fun game so far.
You didn't kill the harpies, you didn't find the zhent hideout, you dont know about the shadow druid quest chain, you don't know about the necromancy of thay, you didn't kill the phase spider matriarch, you didn't kill Gandrel the vampire hunter, you didn't steal the idol of Silvanus for Mol.
Might have been a cool third option for the Grove.
You meet the harpies, sacrifice them mirkon, they like your style and explain they have several starving hatchlings that can become full on harpies if they just had a little more food, game presents you "good option" of saccing some of your camp supplies or bad option of luring citizens from the Grove to them, when they get enough food you're again presented good option of "oh no what have I done" leading to a fight with more harpies or bar option of assisting them in over running the Grove.
You get a harpy romance option that stays in your camp that acts like scratches and brings you items occasionally, also get harpy feather neck chain - grants flight once per long rest.
citizens from the grove know about the harpies and avoid the area. I do agree that there should have been an option to watch the kid die though, even if it's just using him as a distraction to ambush the harpies or escape from them
Every damn druid keeps shapechanging into damn furries and try to have sex with me. Then these ugly ass tieflings keep saying all this nuspeak and trying to have sex with me. I go to the underdark and these drow ass fags have their umberhulks dressed up in bondage gear having open cave debauchery. I go to the harpies and all they do is hard drugs and "feathering" eachother. Then I level up and the character management system keeps trying to get me to automatically select the trans feat and take the cross dressing skill.

How is it too hard? When I did it I started fighting the few guys on top of the gate and she showed up with goblins, trolls, spiders that immediately leap up on top of the gate. Once the gate was cleared me and my drow wife rolled through the placed easily killing the rest of the vermin
If you're committing to an evil run why bother keeping you oath? Just be an oathbreaker. Or just reclass before the battle and switch back to a Paladin after.
if you're trying to participate in the battle and keep your oath, then no man
I wanna do a good run but I wanna keep Minthara as well. I guess I'll kill the goblins for xp, leave Minthara alive and rescue her from Moonrise. Shouldn't break my oath if I do that. sucks about not being able to lift Shadowcurse though
how much content later do i miss out on if i slaughtered the grove? I've heard the evil path sucks and i dont want to fuck up an 100 hour long playthrough
Last light in ends up being very empty and you wont be able to lift the Shadowcurse. I usually just kill everyone in LLI because Jahiera acts like a bitch to me so idk about the content in Act 3
She literally, unironically, has a man's face
No other character ever got me so hard than her. I would destroy worlds in her name....
>OP is a gay
yep
its literally easy
Not if you play it like Fire Emblem like I do.
play it like it's baldur's gate 3

Obsequious debauchery is a waste of time. Its a velleity that may frustrate and effeminate you over time.
You are WEAK anon. You lack the will to feed the dark urge. You WILL murder every last druid and you WILL slaughter every tiefling you see. DO IT NOW!
>destroy the grove
>she tries to have sex with me later that night
>turn her down and go have sex with astarion
or you can fuck her then break her neck post coitus as the Durge. I was surprised by that.
THERE AR ENO QUEST TO LEVEL UP!!!!
Karlach is gone, Wylll too. I have teh druid holocaust, the spider cave and thats it. Both are 10 levels above me. Fuck this game
Go to the Underdark

the game doesnt advance until you reach the Nightsong. you can do everything up to that point without any fear
there's a few things that force an outcome if you havent done them yet when you go to the mountain pass. unless they patched that out?

>harpies
I'm disappointed there isn't an evil interaction for that with the kid, even as Durge

I dunno might have been cool.

you need to collect some herbs from there so the mindflayer in the mushroom colony makes you a cure for your parasite. The cure fails of course
Nothing like a taste of Minth after meals.
The druids are all unlikable cunts and the tieflings need to go back to where they came from
Stop liking evil women

I wanna do a Paladin run next can I save Minthara without breaking my vow?
during act 2? maybe
I mean the Act 1 grovicide

I just finished the Grove story line. The rewards are shit and tiefling are basically fucking gypsies. Absolutely genociding them next playthrough
