Devil May Cry 1
Rain World
Ace Attorney Trilogy
Hehe its my first time playing the series, almost done with the 1st game. Pretty kino so far
Enjoy them, anon. They're games that stick with you long after you've played them. Was just listening to the soundtrack earlier.
I played the demo for this by connecting to a Wii app when it first released and wanted to buy the full game at some point, but missed my chance. Not a fan of emulation so for years I've been waiting for a port and now I'm so happy to finally get to it.
Enjoy anon, and make sure you don't get spoiled
999, all 3, ZTD included
These, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6, Mario RPG, Mario 64, and Banjo Kazooie
Obra Dinn
came here to post this + disco elysium
Same on both counts.
fallout 4
None, i enjoy games more the second time around, except if they have trash pacing or are too linear, which make not even finish them in the first place
Dragon Quest 11
Persona 5 because I’ll never be able to play it more than once.
MGQ, unironically.
you just dont understand. Ive played this to death. every exit. all dragon coins, no switch palaces. No powerup better than a mushroom unless necessary. I tried playing it without finding a single secret exit. I would give ANYTHING to wipe my memory of this masterpiece clean and start anew
Bioware games
Ghost Trick
>will never hear the soundtracks for the first time again
>will never explore the levels for the first time again
>will never attempt a second lap on an unfamiliar level for the first time again
>will never fight the bosses for the first time again
I feel that, I liked the game enough to P rank and get the john suit, and now it's over
Okami
Silent Hill 2 I dont care what people say about that game its my GOAT. I wasnt even scared playing the game, just outrageously uncomfortable and from the time I saw pic related to the end of the game I was in a complete state of catharsis and felt uncomfortable as shit for hours
I feel the same way every time though, it doesn't matter how many times I've gone through it.
Tail Concerto.
>Ignored it and Solatorobo for a long time
>Finally decided to try the latter, enjoyed the fuck out of it
>Decided to give Tail Concerto a try too, since it's apparently a shared universe.
>Have to emulate it
>Hear https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIxUScfOQwg
>Followed by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IexN4bogh4o
>Those intruments
>Those graphics
>That setting
>That classical anime style
>That extreme urge to boot that little gay Panta in the face every time I heard his shoddy English voice
>Knew I was in for a treat
Tail Concerto was fucking magical. Even though I experienced it well past its debut date, I still felt like a kid when playing it. It just hit all the right neurons. Hell, I nearly cleared the game 100% by accident because I was so enamored with exploring. Only missed ONE photo, which hurt when I found out you can't continue playing once you beat the final boss. Any subsequent attempts I've made at playing it again have ended in failure because I'm not there to experience it anymore. It's just my lingering regret at not getting 100% that drives me to want to turn it on again.
This was the first game to come to mind. I have many games I want to experience for the first time again, but it's not easy to erase that first time.
Thanks anon for reminding me of this game. I remember I had a demo disc but the demo was in Japanese.
i just finish all the classic resident evil games and instead of happiness i feel depressed because there's no more to look forward to. modern horror games just aren't as fun.
that's because modern horror games are barely even games anymore. silent hill 2 ruined horror.
Nier. I youtubed it because the gameplay was dogshit and I highly regret it. I still think about that game
Battlezone 98, my GOAT I still play it yearly but TRULY awe inspiring as a kid.
Kingdom Come
MGS3
Gates of Gell Ostfront
Shogun 2/Rome 1/Medieval 2 Total Wars
Half Life series
Metro series
my childhood
I'd rather experience games I never grew up with for the first time with my younger mindset.
New Vegas when it released, or Metro Exodus because it took 24hrs to finish the game on ranger hardcore and the game crashed every 30-60 minutes.
>the sheer variety of content
>the retardation of the bad levels
>the godliness of the good levels
>the fucking ikaruga boss
>all the fucking endgame bosses
>the humor
>the music
I already get a nostalgic feeling listening to the music from these hacks, even though it's only been three years since the first one.
Dark Souls 1.
Halo Combat Evolved
Who knew a game about a teen boy being groomed by an older man would be so good?
world of warcraft as a person with no aspirations or responsibilities
This is one of those games that you really cant get the same experience on a replay, so much hinges on the unknown. What an awesome experience.
XCX
Ocarina of Time
>ITT: games you wish you could experience for the first time again
I literally don't comprehend this emotion at all. There has never been anything that would be improved by removing my memory of it except traumatic things, and those I don't want to re-experience.
Figuring out The Holy Cross and the other puzzles blew my mind when I first played, no replay will ever recapture that magic.
It's not my first pick to relive, but to pick something a touch more modern and not one of the cliches that always come up in this thread, my vote goes to the new Hitman Trilogy. I love these games a ton, but it's a different vibe when you're first learning the games. Once you know the game and have high progression, solutions are pretty cut and dry. Freelancer is great and recaptures some of that; the only problem with it is it generates some BS targets that are virtually impossible to get Silent Assassin on or complete other prestige objectives because of their spawns.
13, friends theatre, rainy weekend, co op.
