better texture and shading work across the model to make him look less like a plastic doll. you can definitely see the improved eye texture, he looks more alive.
those with tunnel vision won't notice much unless pointed out
I hate the fact that regardless of which gender you choose, they look the same even with face swapping.
because lighting exists to only help match a model with the environment. it doesn't change the actual textures on the model itself. you can see it in the OP image.
his blush is toned down. the baked-in shading on his skin, especially around the nose and mouth, are toned down. this helps makes his skin look brighter and his face less like plastic. they probably did this because during his first reveal people were complaining he looked more cartoonish and less anime.
the eyes are more vibrant with smaller pupils, a completely different texture. the dark spots in his ears are darker, making them pop out more. his hair is flat out a different saturation, making it more vibrant.
it's all very subtle and small changes but definitely improves the overall look.
he’s cute either way :3
Why GameFreak doesn't add beards?
I'm not a fricking kid.
>wanting a beard on a literal child character
Yes.
pretty obvious those characters are older, they look like they could be BW or XY aged
Ah yea, because the male MCs of Gen 5 and 6 definetively would have enough hair in the face for that beard style already with their age
Yes
Anime characters work that way
come on bro its nnn
I am not 21
The dude is trying to self insert himself as a kid with beards. Lmao
Pokemon is for children anon. Children do not have beards.

Fricking Hispanic.
>ITT: Glow ups
...Where?
In the OP picture, smartass
Where is the glow up exactly? He looks identical with a different expression.

girl has noticable hips. boy doesn't.
What? How do you know that's not just the lighting?

Naruhodo, I thought it was just a lighting deal.
Ok, but where is he glowing? I don't see any glow.
if you want to be literal, his skin is objectively brighter than before since they toned down the shading

>Glow ups
