I used to make physical game guides when they were a thing. But they were really shitty, they’d only give me a week in advance to play the game and back then they mailed everything, no digital code they mailed you a copy of the game you’d have to sign for it when the mail came, so if there was a delay in the mail I’d only have a few days to write up a full guide. It was real shit when they gave you a 80 hour jrpg lol. Often the publisher or devs wouldn’t give any basic tips either I had to go in blind and just make the whole guide. Sometimes I’d get lucky because back then worldwide releases weren’t as common as nowadays, so if a Japanese game released in Japan first I’d just call a Japanese friend and ask for tips and help him with his English course back then. Public schools were much more friendly with exchange programs back then. Pay was shit I think $100 (maybe like $250 nowadays adjusted for inflation) per game and I was playing and writing for dozens of hours so it wasn’t worth it. I still make video guides and webpage guides but it’s a different market nowadays with ai and robots and the algorithm is extremely crap nowadays so everything gets buried. I used to make faqs too, it was really fun but a really thankless job but I kept notes when I played so I figured might as well share them to help the community.

Thanks anon, I loved game guides
I liked to read them even if I didn't own the game and imagined how it would be to play them
I own the AC Odyssey guide book which I think is the last physical prima games guide ever made, the end of an era

I developed cutscenes for a Mass Effect 3 mod that ended up in a YouTube video with 160k views on YouTube.

Sadly, I think the honeymoon phase passed for Legendary Edition a year ago, but I'm developing what I consider to be the biggest mod of all time, for the game, and work aside I've spent about 3-4 years on it.

In LOR I brewed and popularized a deck that ended up at the top of the meta and got so popular they Riot had to nerf it.

Ekko Jinx was me, I was responsible for that deck.

I made a bunch of addons for gmod back in 2010. Before that, I did maps for Half Life and CS, never uploaded them anywhere because they were made to play with my friends, now they're lost forever

you homosexuals in charge of the website know you can just take it down right? you don't have to keep making it harder and harder for real human beings to post on it. sometimes things just have to end. it's probably time for this fricking place.

I made a lot of OC for my favorite game series on Ganker. Even got whiplash irl seeing it show up in youtube videos or seeing fricking homosexual redditors using the stuff I made.
Literally no drug compares to seeing stuff you made get reposted

Whatever the hell I could consider for lock-box mods for the PSP version of Armored Core Last Raven. Someone else did the PS2 side.

In reality it just wasn't that complex.
Though, I did help the Steel Battalion community later by refining the way you can connect the massive 40-button controller into a PC.

    I'm just a clanker.
