>What is it with microplastic estrogen polluted zoomers and saying "filtered" all the time? >Sorry that I detected the game is shit early on >No, I dont believe in "games getting better after 200 hours" >If its not any good in the first hour, then its a shit game
Less bloated than Nioh 2. Getting a new Guardian Spirit in Nioh 1 feels great compared to shitting out another generic yokai ability from killing some jobber in Nioh 2. Weapons are generally more streamlined with better builds and synergies in Nioh 1 compared to 2. DLCs are better thought out in Nioh 1 compared to 2. Living Weapon is way cooler than Yokai Shifting.
Not him, but I agree that Nioh 2 had a lot of problems:
>The game relies too much on Burst Counter. >Dark Realm sucks. It's ugly to look at and nerfs your ki regen (being half yokai, it would be the opposite if anything). >The story and characters are much worse and copy far too many parts from the first game. Even the general plot was much better where you have this revenge story making you get caught up in all this chaos, but in the sequel, you're basically a mute puppet that just goes from place to place for no real reason and does what he's told. >They dumbed down a lot of things for noobs (loud sounds to alert you of stuff like grabs and Burst Counters, auto-pick up of Guardian Spirit in boss rooms e.t.c) >Didn't fix issues in the first game. Like, why limit skills to certain slots only? Why not have more slots and allow you to equip whatever skills you want? >Soul Cores were dumb and took focus away from Guardian Spirits. You also don't even really get to use many of them because for much of the game you fight Gaki and certain other Yokai which have much better stat rolls like drop rate. >While spirit weapons were overpowered in the original game, especially if you made dedicated builds around it, they went the complete opposite in the sequel. Not only is there less variety in moveset, but your Amrita gain is nerfed into the ground to the point where you have to spam stuff like Yokai Skills to generate Amrita which is annoying and repetitive.
I don't hate Nioh 2, but certain things do frustrate me about it
>Well the story was better but thats not something to be proud of.
I used to think it like this too but after replaying both games very recently, I'm inclined to think that 2 has a better story actually. After the introduction stage, 1's story only pick up when you reached the fourth region and before then it's a bunch of fucking nothing, the main story also ends in the most blueballing way possible with William fighting a literal who for final boss. DLCs are pure kino though, but William matters fuck all in it.
The problem with 2's story is that events are too disjointed and characters got introduced just to be killed or fuck off shortly after, but the story escalates nonstop from start to finish with a few plot twists scatter within. It is more engrossing than 1's story imo.
>most blueballing way possible with William fighting a literal who for final boss
are you talking about the eyes guy? I really thought of that as more of a post credits scene with a teaser for the dlc. demon king revealed is the proper last mission and quite good imo
if you're looking for a souls feel , the combat is no where as smooth , I don't know if it's the controls, the enemies moveset or the lack of i-frames but something felt off about this game
Also I hate how they incorporated diablo's looting system to compensate the lack of weapons in the game
>makes a mass reply without even reading the posts he's quoting
you were already malding before even making this thread, you might as well have kept this conversation in your head and nothing would have changed

How old are you little buddy? Surely somewhere between age 15-23 if you are using twitchtv fagkiddo language..? And since you do it can be well said that you are a non-individual. Go on and further consoom what your opinion-maker streamers have to say
I learnt this word by lurking on le Ganker while you seem to know everything about it and the language that streamers use, way to out yourself you false-flagging zoomie
Tired both Nioh 1 and 2, friend wanted to coop it so I did both single and multiplayer. Ended up dropping both pretty early because I just wasn't having fun. Then years later I tried Strangers of Paradise and found myself enjoying it enough to finish it.
I enjoyed it
What filtered you? Judging by the play time it can‘t be the bat lady.
100% couldn't beat the oni with the ball and chain in the ship of the first level and now is coming here to cry about it.
He said yesterday he got infuriated with the tutorial boss in the london tower having a second phase
Now I want to replay it
>no reedeming qua-
skill issue, thankfully
Nioh sucked ass.
It's a bit overrated here but that's too harsh man
>68 min played
>0/79 achievements
LMAO

now i want to see OP's most played game

Nioh 1 is a better videogame than Nioh 2.
Well the story was better but thats not something to be proud of. What else?

Almost every one of your complaints is actually a change that improved Nioh 2 in comparison to 1. Incredible.

So many words just to say
>my candy ass got filtered
Ok shitter, post your most played games now
Shit taste. Here's my character in the sequel with my waifu.

Nice bait. You only played 1 hour of it two years and got none of the achievements. On top of that you seem to be reinstalling it.
No, i just dont uninstall stuff
I have more free space on one drive than you have in total capacity
What the fuck are you doing
Godhand
>1 hour
>zero achievements unlocked
haha oh wow
i love stances so much. at first they seem like a near-pointless extra step but when it clicks, it's the next best thing to dmc4 and dmc5 dante
Nioh was pretty good, but I love Nioh 2.
switchglaive, sword or spear?
Switchglaive. 1Kat and Spear are boring.
My favorite pairing in 2 is switchglaive and hatchets. Kusarigama and tonfa come close as well.
stay mad with 0 skills op
Agility A, 100 toughness or agility B, 200 toughness for Nioh2? I'm using dual swords mostly with spear second.
Obligatory.
should I play nioh first or strangers of paradise
Nioh.
You can tell OP is full of rage from being hard filtered by a widely praised game. It's okay they have Lies of P for scrubs like you
Does this game have long run back?
I can die 100 times without complaining, but long run back is too annoying for me.
Nope
There's even consumable items to retrieve your souls
Nice. I am gonna add it to my backlog then.
Did you finally pass the tutorial bro?
Tired both Nioh 1 and 2, friend wanted to coop it so I did both single and multiplayer. Ended up dropping both pretty early because I just wasn't having fun. Then years later I tried Strangers of Paradise and found myself enjoying it enough to finish it.
Nioh is a game for autists and Ganker is full of autists.
You won't find unbiased opinions here. It isn't even a soulslike for fuck's sake.
